my experience at modesto Toyota was outstanding. we were promptly helped the process did take some time, but it only took that amount of time because the staff was doing everything they could to make sure we left happy and with what we wanted.
Came here looking for a brand new 2019 Honda. After searching in Stockton and coming up empty and bad offers, I turned to Mistlin Honda in Modesto. They were very welcoming and accomidated my every need. They worked with me to get a low APR and to get me the car I wanted. I would recommend this car dealership to anyone. Our salesman was Jose, very nice guy, even tried to feed us while we waited for offers from the financiers. Couldn't be happier with the car and overall experience.
First fellow is nice once you get him talking. Name is Jose he helped start the buying process smoothly. Second guy will be the one you negotiate with (demand what you want). Third guy is who will be actually making deals and giving you paperwork to sign. This is the most important part restate what you can do and stay firm but relaxed. No matter what they can give better deals than what's eventually given. All you can do is get the best you can get out of them while they try the same with you. Walking out sucks on both ends but if they are not budging at all get out. Third fellow for me was Nick cool and nice. Remember always to also handle yourself in professional manner questions are a must and no fear to ask them. Listen carefully as you need to have your own back.
My sales person was Norberto. My entire experience was done over the internet. I had done my research and had contacted many other dealers both in person and on the internet. I have purchased several Honda's over the years but this was the best and easiest experience by far. I told Norberto exactly what I was looking for, gave him a list of all the extras that I wanted, and he came back to me with a price within a half an hour. The price came in exactly where I had hoped it would be. I told him I wanted the vehicle and he sent me pictures each step of the way as items were being installed. I drove 4.5 hours from Southern California to Modesto because I could not find the exact car I wanted down here. He turned out not to be a "typical car salesman" but a genuinely nice, warm, person, who makes you feel valued as a customer. Well worth the 4.5 hour drive.
They sold me a 2007 GMC Sierra with nice rims and tires. I put a good down payment as well and so they were able to get me a low interest rate and payment. Will use them again.
