2024 Honda Odyssey review

2023 Honda Odyssey review
This is my second Honda Odyssey Elite having traded in my 2019 for a 2023. Why did I make the trade? I hadn't had any problems with my 2019, but the trade in value of my 2019 made the purchase of a 2023 a "no brainer". I had considered purchasing a Toyota Sienna Platinum because of the fuel economy. But the price of the Toyota was so much higher than the Honda, especially when you consider that the Rear Seat Entertainment System costs extra on the Toyota and dealers are adding premiums above MSRP. I calculated I would have to drive the a Toyota around 80,000 miles before I would actually begin saving money on gasoline.

2009 Honda Odyssey review
2009 Odyssey EX. Bought used with 193k miles. Couldn't be more reliable. Great design inside and out. Excellent structural integrity. Everything works. Built solid. Hauls xxx. I average 23 mpg overall with the 244 HP 3.5 V6.

2020 Honda Odyssey review
I've owned two Odysseys over the past 20 years,with the 2020 being the one we currently own. The 2020 has proven to be just as reliable as our other Odyssey and the Honda Accords that we've owned. The 2020 Odyssey has a smooth ride, comfortable attractive interior. The Magic seating system makes this van even more flexible for hauling loads of kids and family, while being able to quickly change to hauling lots of cargo.

This is an updated review from the original I posted a couple of weeks ago. I'm very happy to say that it's a positive improvement. The response from the dealership led to a resolution we are extremely satisfied with. We felt heard, and, once we were in contact with the right people,they were nothing but professional when addressing the situation. We will return to this dealership for future Hyundai needs. The 4/5 stars is simply due to the fact that things weren't seamless from the get go. But, they have a 5 star rating from us when it comes to the General Managers view on customer service. Our original issue had to do with the availability of the right trim of the vehicle being available after we had driven from out of town. We did end up buying a car from this dealership once the correct one was available. This is 100% due to their approach to customer service. Top notch.

2011 Honda Odyssey review
The ride is smooth and is specifically made to be a family car. The only issue is it’s slow 0-60 second acceleration at about 8.3 seconds but that’s not really what the car was made for, just wish it could go a little quicker. Compared this with the Toyota Sienna is that the Sienna is slightly a bit quicker. However, the Odyssey has way better styling and in my personal opinion one of the nicest minivans you could get back in the 2010s.

Purchased a used vehicle with my wife 6 months ago from Alejandro (Alex) and came back as we are planning for a third child and looking to replace our second car, a 3 row crossover, with a vehicle that has easier access to the third row (minivan). Our former salesman was out on medical leave but Cesar (CJ), Jeanette and a young salesman, forgot his name, stepped up and provided a wonderful experience. We did not end up purchasing the Odyssey as we were unable to come to terms on the Out the Door pricing but still enjoyed a wonderful few rounds of negotiations. As someone who has worked in many auto and power sports related industries before and through attending university, I am always impressed with Mossy’s professionalism, kindness and just general calm while putting up with my antics. My family highly recommends this dealer network. Also a shoutout to the service department that performed a service and recall fix on our previously purchased vehicle within a few hours on one of the days we were at the dealership negotiating. 2022 Honda Odyssey review
Not a big fan of the breaking system which wears out the brakes if you follow vehicles close. Interior storage spaces are much smaller or non existent. Interior much more cheaply made and does not last nearly as long.

2022 Honda Odyssey review
The Honda Odyssey has held up well over the first 3 years I've owned it. It's quiet and comfortable with a good sound system. It can take corners almost as well as my high end sports cars. And, in V6 mode (not economy) it accelerates well. The only complaint is its accident avoidance system that slams on the brakes unnecessarily. If a car is a little too close behind, you may be rear ended. I liked the car so much, I bought a 2025 Honda Odyssey, too.

2018 Honda Odyssey review
This is our second odyssey, love the can with all the safety features. We have had great reliability, and now have just under 100,000 miles (99683) and have had only minor issues. Normal wear items plus an injector problem repaired under warranty. A few recall items ( door handles, back up camera fuel pump) all taken care of under warranty Love this vehicle, love it and will buy another when they redesign it. Rides very well, has a ton of safety features, interior is very comfortable. Highly pleased.
