2023 Hyundai PALISADE review
This is by far the best car I've ever owned. The steering is responsive. The engine is fairly quiet. It has very good "passing gear" ability. Its a three row suv with heated first through third row and ventilated first and second row. Adaptive and Smart cruise control as well as many more features. We'll worth the buy. Go with the Caligraphy trim.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Modern Hyundai of Concord, and I can confidently say it was one of the best car-buying experiences I’ve ever had. A huge part of that was thanks to Victor Boicu. From start to finish, Victor was incredibly thorough with his communication and always followed through on everything he said he would do. What really stood out, though, was his approach—he was never pushy. Instead of trying to steer me toward things I didn’t want (which I experienced at several other dealerships during my search), he actually listened to what I was looking for and worked to find solutions which fit my needs. After my initial visit, he even sent a follow-up walk-through video of the vehicle so I could share it with my wife and family. That level of respect and attentiveness made all the difference. For the sake of transparency and authenticity, I’ll add that the experience wasn’t absolutely perfect—about a week or two after the purchase, I realized the cabin air filter was missing. I reached out to Victor and the team at Modern Hyundai, and they got it corrected with minimal to no inconvenience to me. No one is perfect, but how people respond is what truly matters in my book, and they handled it the right way. I would strongly recommend anyone considering buying a car from Modern Hyundai of Concord to do so—and definitely ask for Victor. I’d even suggest reaching out to him ahead of time about what you’re looking for, even if it’s not currently in their inventory. He genuinely tries to help you find the right fit. Problem was that I live in Minnesota, not Chicago and would have to traveling a great distance for a car I had not seen other than in pics, potentially risking wasting a great deal of time and money. I had to trust Jonathan, my salesman, to tell me the condition of the car where the pics could not. He was completely honest and the car was exactly what he said it was. Between Jonathan and Adam, the sales manager i was able to close the deal and drive back to home within an hour. I am completely pleased with the car and 100% satisfied with the dealership. Matt is a great salesman. He isn’t pushy and he is very attentive to your needs. The car I wanted had a tapping noise when I test drove it, but I really liked it, so Matt and I drove out and back to the dealership three or four times, trying different fixes each time hoping it went away. Matt got out on the wet ground with his suit on, looking for any hint of where this noise could come from. Eventually we discovered it was a loose mud flap. I went back today and Matt gave me original Hyundai car mats even though I have had the car a couple weeks. I will buy here again when I am ready for an upgrade.

Great car. Matter of fact it’s the nicest one I’ve ever owned. Went from a Ford Explorer which had a horrible ride and all sorts of maintenance issues past 110,000 miles to the Palisade. 2023 Hyundai PALISADE review
I’ve been a Honda man since 1984, but after comparing pretty much every 3 row SUV on the market, I went with the 2023 Palisade Calligraphy. It’s the most feature packed for your money and they are reliable. If your need a highway car, this is the one. Had it 10 months and have already been on 3 long distance trips. It rides smoothly, has plenty of power, is quieter than my old Honda Odyssey and is a joy to travel in. Don’t let some of the negative comments from people still living in 1986 dissuade you. I did plenty of research. This is a great vehicle. Most people with these types of vehicle never ever go off road, but if you do, maybe a Jeep is for you. If you want to pretend you are in a rally race, get a Porsche truck. I have my Honda S2000 for that. But if you want a great SUV that can actually carry people on all 3 rows in comfort, the Palisade is the one. The lane keep, smart cruise control, auto high beam, auto wipers, massaging drivers seat and other goodies lets you drive in comfort for hours. Every model comes standard with a 12.3” infotainment screen, navigation, apple car play and a host of stuff. You don’t have to move up a model for all that. 3 years free maintenance is great, along with the longest warranty in the business. You also hear a lot of negative stuff about the dealerships. I went online on Sunday evening before the forth of July and got an appointment for the next day, July 3rd. I dropped it off expecting a long wait. In less than 2 hours, I got a call that I was ready to go. Oil change, tire rotation, safety check and a recall on windshield wiper blades all done. Research the dealer for any brand you buy. I passed 3 closer dealers and so far I’m happy with them, too. Talk to people that actually own the Palisade. I have never talked to an owner that didn’t just love their Palisade. They are in high demand, so resell value is not a problem right now. They can be hard to find in the model you want. I got the Calligraphy because I wanted all the goodies, but the best value is probably the SEL with the Premium Package. You get a lot of stuff for your money and it’s available as a 8 passenger, if that’s what you need. The only negatives I can think of is the mirrors are not power retractable and Apple CarPlay is not wireless. I hoping for a wireless update for the Apple CarPlay in the future.
