Good Buying Experience, High Quality Vehicle
November 6, 2018
I bought a used 2014 Jeep Cherokee at Don Whites. First and most importantly, the Cherokee looks new with no signs of previous use. In my experience, this is more the exception than norm. When you shop for a used car, often there are some signs of wear. I looked over the interior and the exterior of the jeep, in particular the tires, and it was in great shape. It was classified as 'Jeep Certified', so I assume they carry a higher standard of quality and assurance.
The dealership was great. Honestly, buying a car is almost never a "perfect experience". The consumer wants everything: the best vehicle with all the options at the lowest possible price. The dealer wants to make some money and still keep the customer happy. It's never easy for everyone to feel like they won and as a consumer, isn't that part of the battle? You want to love your new car and let everyone know you mastered the negotiation process. The staff at Don White's did a good job with the process. The staff is professional and courteous and not at all pushy. They will work with you.
Another great feature with a purchase from Don White's are the lifetime oil changes. These days, we are talking $50 a visit to Jiffy Lube, so this is a nice perk. They also do car washes, which again, adds up over time when going to automatic car washes.
In summary, I recommend Don Whites. You will not get ripped off, thanks to access to the vast amount of resources available on the internet. They know you know what a fair price is. The rest comes down to what else the dealer offers and most importantly, when buying a used car, what condition is it in? My new has been great and I would buy it again there.
