2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe review
The JL exceeded my expectations. In the past Wranglers were clunky and didn't really feel like they were put together too well. My son had a JK and it was a huge advance forward. So I decided to buy the JL and I think it was another huge leap forward. I have fully loaded Ram 2500 but I find myself taking the Jeep most of the time. Okay part of that is trying to park a long bed crew cab, But I do enjoy driving the Jeep and have taken it across country a couple of times. After a 122,000 miles I still love it.

2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe review
Approaching 25,000 miles and we haven’t had any issues. I actually enjoy choosing whether to run on electric or gas based on what my journey is. If you just put it in hybrid mode, you’re not utilizing the efficiency of the engine. My advice, think about your journey. If I’m jumping on the highway to then head into the city, I run it on gas on the highway then switch to all electric in the city -no point wasting the electric with highway driving! Then I use up the last of my electric when google tells me I’m X miles from home when I still have X miles of electric remaining to use it all up. When we just do local drives less than 25 miles (grocery, day care pick up etc.) we can literally run off electric only for days, even weeks. It just takes thinking about what your journey involves. Crawling traffic for a 5 mile slow down ahead, I’m on gas until I hit that traffic, then switch to electric. We’ve taken this Jeep (Willys) through plenty of winter storms with feet of snow and ice, never needed to use chains with its AWD or 4WD to choose from. Hopefully the great reliability continues.

2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe review
Bought my 2024 used with 13k miles on it. Maybe I'm old school due to prior life with a 97 TJ and and 01 XJ but this car is fantastic to drive and very luxurious. Perhaps not as tech heavy as other SUVs, but it does everything I could hope for, and has been fun for road driving and light off roading.

I even stopped by to see him at the dealership today since he was so nice and empathetic of my situation so I wanted to say "hi" in person. Service writer Carlos is awesome! Communication is important to me because I need to plan my day and week. Carlos called as promised the day after I dropped my car off for a diagnostics on the remote keyless entry system. I was 100% convinced the receiver was bad because I had checked the remote batteries with a meter. They tested fine, so I took the car in. Well, my car was fixed, quickly, and for a very reasonable price. Needless to say I am very pleased I didn’t need a new unit and I wasn’t without my car for more than a day. I came into Lake Elsinore Honda for a windshield calibration and transmission drain N fill. Tyler was very helpful in answering my questions regarding the windshield calibration which was a little tricky because I was told by the glass installer that my camera needed to be replaced. As it turned out the glass was installed incorrectly and Tyler sent me pictures and showed me the issue in person. Tyler also noted that my transmission seal was leaking and he made an appointment for next weekend to have that fixed. I just started coming to Lake Elsinore Honda a couple years ago when I purchased a 2022 Civic and I have found all the employees very knowledgeable and helpful . . . and they do it with a smile.

2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe review
My Jeep journey started with Patriot, followed by Cherokee, and recent upgrade to Wrangler. Each one had it's advantages over the others. Most notable changes are in electronics and interior design. Embedded computer with focus on non-stop entertainment is a distraction for a vehicle used in exploring the nature. The computer should not wake up when you open any door to load or unload things. Doors removal option is way less important than towing capability or surrounding sensors that help with parking, backing out of the garage, or changing lanes in heavy traffic. Wranglers gas cap and the hood should come locked by default. Phone pocket is too narrow for Samsung and there is no simple way to mount it elsewhere. Window control should be on the doors instead of crowded dashboard. Noise in Wrangler is higher than other two models I owned in the past.
