Eddie the sales manager is the man. He made sure to take care of me and made the entire process easy. Sales person David and Genevieve made sure to go through the features and options with me. The finance manager Khalid went above and beyond and explain everything in the contract to make sure i understood everything. I would recommend this dealership to every one. Hassle free pricing and no back and forth here. They are straight shooters. I have contact several other Kia dealership to get the same vehicle. No response from their internet team and lack of proving information regarding the vehicle I was interested.

Andreas provided excellent service. He advised me to add oil, prior to my appointment, which probably saved my engine seizing.
2024 Kia EV9 review
Ok, good car. Lots of great reviews online. We have a GT and let me say the biggest issue is technology. Tesla has set a high bar with customers. I expect EVs to fully integrate with mobile and to require less to do more. Kia is truly bombing here. Smart Key? About as difficult to setup as can be. Second Driver? It’s like Kia didn’t know the concept existed. Interconnected Experience? Kia Connect Reps don’t have my name or address, yet the app does? Online Experience, different architect, limited features, slow. It took two hours to get me and my wife setup. I gave up on the keys.

Brent Robken offered a great buying experience. I have purchased many cars but this had to be the best purchase ever. Brent made everything easy to understand and I'm sure that I wouldn't have purchased this car if not for him. I would highly recommend Brent Robken to anyone looking for a car.

CarMax Costa MesaReviews
CarMax Costa Mesa review
I purchased a used Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG from the Carmax in Costa Mesa, CA about a month ago. I started out by calling the Carmax and reaching a sales agent. She worked with me by setting aside the car so that I could fly down to pick it up. She picked me up from the airport about 15 miles away from their dealership. When I saw the car, I found some minor cosmetic issues with the car and Carmax assured me that they would repair them at my local Carmax in Roseville, CA. I will be writing a review about that Carmax as well. They issued me a form stating repairs to be done at my local dealership. I informed the salesperson that I would be pushing the car a bit and she was fine with it. After the test drive, the car seemed to be in great condition, so we headed in for the paperwork. The appearance inside of the dealership building did not convey a welcoming feeling though. It felt like a warehouse with desks in it. The people within the building were nice and friendly though. The paperwork was pretty quick as I already had a loan check from the credit union. It took about 30 minutes and then I was on my way. Overall, I would say the experience was positive.

Awesome service . Quick, easy, safe and professional. I would use this service again in the future.
2024 Kia EV9 review
Had EV9 for a week now. I have owned lots of different SUVs -5 different MDXs, a suburban, an Infiniti QX56, an XC90T8, a Navigator, an Expedition- and so far it is my favorite of all. It drives so smooth and FAST, plenty of room- but not so big it is a hassle finding room to park like a suburban can be. The interior is nice for an EV- only EV I have personally seen with nicer interior is ETRON. I do wish interior was more refined but it is nice enough. much prefer EV 9 to the Tesla in every way. The three rows are all usable. I am thrilled to be done with the MDX 18mpg with premium fuel, this car is more fun, bigger, and saving me a ton on gas. The Semi autonomous driving is very good also.

2024 Kia EV9 review
One month into owning my EV9 and I can say I’m a happy customer, both for city use and highway road trips. The range is great, exterior design looks great, and I’ve been impressed with the technology and infotainment features. The map function is not great (I was used to the Android Automotive platform in my previous Polestar 2, which is best in class and apparently what Kia is now switching to next year) but everything else is excellent. No quality or performance issues at all - great initial build quality. Feels zippy, especially for such a large car. Plus, they have some amazing lease deals running right now, it’s an exceptional value.

Kia of Marin review
I had been in the market for a Kia soul. I read up on what the Soul was like, it was similar to my recently destroyed Scion but better and quieter now that I have a new car. Due to difficulty in getting about and using a rental car, I finally made it to the dealer. I was there 5 minutes, shown two cars, both almost identical and said, "let's go". The price was right, it was explained to me and we went ahead, prepared papers, I left a deposit and said I would return with a personal check the following day. When I returned the car was ready, Mr. Kinney explained various operations but I told him I was anxious to leave and would read the owner's manual and not to worry about going through all the details as I am rather competent when it comes to instructions. I appreciate the help, the conversation, the friendliness and the honesty. I am happy with my new car, I will return for some extra items in the parts department that I want added and set up future maintenance as I pass them on my way all the time from San Francisco to Sonoma.
2024 Kia EV9 review
I already had an EV6 for my wife and fell in love with it. I just needed something a little bigger and wanted full EV. Since it VW been buying primarily Kia since 2007 it was a no brainer to choose the EV9. Price is still a big issue for me so I chose the Light Long Range trim. I get the best range and 98% of all the features I wanted. Unfortunately to get that last 2% would have meant going to the Land trim and that was out of my budget this time. But in getting HDA2, Digital Key 2, all the safety features, 3 rows for 6 passengers, power liftgate, etc. I’ve had mine 3 weeks and already have 2300 miles on it. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting a 3 row SUV EV.

I have bought cars from Eric and Brent. Started with a Sorento when my kids out grew my Mercedes. When children started to drive, Brent fit us with the perfect 6 speed clutch, Sportsmen. Now kids up and grown Mom drives the Kia Optima twin turbo sedan. I will always come back to Kia of Novato. Brent and Eric make it fun and easy.. plus Sharon in service gets5 stars from me. She is always happy and flexible to get my servicing done with my crazy schedule...

Kia of MarinReviews
Kia of Marin review
Purchasing a new car after having my previous one totaled in an accident was not something I was looking forward to. It comes with stress, uncertainty, and, honestly, a little grief. From the moment I met Austin Johnson at Kia Marin, he understood that. There was never any pressure—only patience, kindness, and a calm confidence that made the entire process feel manageable. During our test drive, we found ourselves talking less about selling a car and more about life—fishing, family, shared interests, and the kinds of conversations that remind you you're sitting with a genuine human being rather than someone trying to close a deal. Those moments mattered. They built trust. Austin has been prompt with every question, transparent about the process, realistic about inventory and timing, and consistently followed through on everything he said he would do. He communicates clearly, listens well, and treats people with dignity and respect. I often say that character reveals itself in ordinary conversations, and Austin's character is exceptional. He is the kind of person I would genuinely feel comfortable inviting into my home for dinner. That may sound unusual in a dealership review, but it is the highest compliment I can offer. He represents Kia Marin with integrity, warmth, and professionalism. If you're looking for more than someone to sell you a car—if you're looking for someone you can trust through the process—I recommend Austin Johnson without hesitation. He has turned what could have been a difficult experience into one marked by kindness, honesty, and genuine human connection.
