2018 Kia Optima review
I just purchased a 2018 Kia optima from a used dealership at first I was concerned. But it only has 48,000 miles on it. Now 51,000 I always thought Kia was a girl car. But as a man. I love it. It has plenty room in the back. The car runs smoothly and I like the safety alert it gives when another vehicle is to close on you. I didn't want to drive it to work but the gas mileage is much better than my 2004 Ford escape . I've had my Kia almost a month now and I'm still trying to figure out how to work the features. Yes I recommend this car. Even if you get one with 100,000 miles on it. It would still run great

I highly recommend Parsons Kia of Winchester Virginia to everyone I know who may be interested in the purchase of a new or pre owned vehicle. I have purchased three brand new vehicles from Parsons Kia over the past seven years. My first purchase of a new vehicle was in 2017 and at that time I was paying a 27 percent interest rate through a lender for four years on a pre owned vehicle (not purchased at Kia) and was what they call “upside down” with the value to debt left on this particular vehicle. I was interested in purchasing a brand new vehicle for the first time and Parsons Kia made that a reality. The salesperson I was directed to was and still is a stellar asset to Parsons Kia of Winchester Virginia. “Samantha Berry” saleswoman along with the finance department got me into a brand new Kia Forte with fair interest rate through Kia Financing themselves. I have never forgotten this experience in 2016. I took this car (only) to Parsons service department for all required maintenance. Each time my vehicle was due for service, the service department Scott, Debbie everyone in the service department made sure my vehicle was in tip top shape and included me on any needs or details my vehicle had. In 2019, I returned to Parsons Kia to trade in my Kia Forte at 5k still within plenty of life on warranty for a 2020 Kia Optima. I was happy to find my prior sales team was still with Parsons Kia, and immediately requested “Samantha Berry” again as she was very knowledgeable and trustworthy with my first purchase of the Forte. Again, stellar customer service by the entire sales team. They are so organized with the sale I was in and out purchasing the Optima within two hours! Moving to most recent, I was back at Parsons Kia, again just last week now being October 2023. Asking for “Samantha Berry” saleswoman just like she was family. I remember looking at her saying “remember me?” I come back to you every three years for my new Kia! Samantha remembers her clients and she again with impeccable customer service listens to my needs and has me test drive two vehicles the first of which I drove home in! A brand new 2023 Kia Sorento Xline EX that suits my needs and then some. I will always be a faithful customer to Parsons Kia of Winchester Virginia for their loyalty and commitment to me over these last seven years. 2015 Kia Optima review
I've had my Optima for nearly a year now and nothing bad has happened so far, in 10 months I've put on 13,000 miles; from 74,000-87,000 miles and I haven't experienced a single issue. It looks good, runs reliably, and is comfortable on long drives. However, I feel that the acceleration is a little slow but hey, I'm 19, every teenager wants fast, but I'm really happy with my Optima and I definitely recommend it!

2019 Kia Optima review
I have a 2006 Kia Sportage LX with 100,700 miles on it. As you can tell, I don't particularly drive much. But my Sportage has been VERY reliable. (I call it "Ole Faithful.") In 15 yrs I haven't had to put much money into it. Other than a set of tires, a battery, and regular oil changes, I've had to put in an AC condenser and a power steering pump totalling about $1200.00 which isn't bad over 15 years of car ownership! When I decided to get another car for long distance road trips I immediately added the Optima to my short list. My priority was a mid-sized car with great safety ratings and features, and comfort. The other vehicles I considered were the 2019 Accord, Camry, and Sonata. After MONTHS of research I decided on the Optima S. I LOVE. LOVE, LOVE this car, and do not regret my choice one bit! It checked ALL my boxes, plenty of interior and trunk space, technology features, and of course safety (blindspot, rear cross traffic, lane keep assist among others). And as far as value for the money, Accord and Camry couldn't touch it. The gas milage is listed as a bit less that the Honda and Toyota, but I have been getting between 37 and 39 mpg highway, and 32 to 34 around town, so I really can't complain at all. I'd highly recommend adding this car to your list, to anyone looking for a mid-sized family car.

2019 Kia Optima review
I've got A 2&3 year old this car has exceeded my expectations. My Kia has so much room for the kids or just riding in traffic to enjoy the sun. I NEVER imagined I'd own a Kia but I'm so glad this is what I decided on. Ive always purchased vehicles solely on looks and mainly performance and the 2019 Kia Optima is on my top 3, It's great in city and on highways while also looking slick and almost like a much more expensive car. Love love the Kia, I gotta hand it to the engineers on this one. Plenty of space great gas mileage and is much more then your everyday original stock filled car options. I still feel like a kid rolling around in it. #STILLGOTIT#

2016 Kia Optima review
I highly recommend this car for anyone looking for a good quality four-door four-cylinder sedan This 2016 Optima EX outperforms my 1998 Camry LE. Every bit as quiet and it’s actually fun to drive. Starting to lose a slight amount of oil with 85,000 miles on it. Engine was completely replaced and nothing out of pocket under Kia recall.

2016 Kia Optima review
So my car is a 2016 Kia Optima SX 2.0 Turbo GDI. I bought it with just under 60K miles and am just below 85K now. It was burning oil, but once I replaced my pvc or pcv valve ($30 at O'Reilly's), runs like a peach. So uniquely updated and ahead of the game for a 2016. Tough saying if I would recommend it because a quick google search will tell you that the car will probably give out at 150K miles. Transmission is probably the worst I've ever felt but it hasn't given out yet. OEM blow off valve thing is sick.

2015 Kia Optima review
There's pro and cons with this car. I love the fact that this car is very good of mileages save so much fuel , I lived in San Antonio and we drove this car with full tank to Corpus Christi its about 2 hours and half, almost 145 miles away, then we came back still have half full of a tank. My deslike about the car is the front passenger set, its kinda very low and there's no other way of adjusting it. ( Blind spot)When changing lane specially to your rare left side ,you literally turning your head making sure there's no other vehicle. Other than that??The car is good to drive.

2013 Kia Optima review
I bought this car new, and it has, and still is a great car. The fuel economy is awesome, getting 35 to 37 MPG on the highway, and the only costs have been normal costs, which include general maintenance items such as oil changes, freon, tires, and batteries. The only minor issue is that the passenger seat sets low, and the height is not adjustable.

2016 Kia Optima review
Apart from the navigation system not working correctly, there have been no problems in nearly 40000 Km. The mileage on the Hybrid appears to have changed when the system was reprogrammed, the short journey (under 2 Km) economy when new was around 6-6.5 L/100 Km it now runs about 8-9\L/100Km. On longer trips I get the lower figure stated. Is this normal? My opinion of the car otherwise is fantastic, it is comfortable with vivid acceleration good road holding and relaxing to drive.

2018 Kia Optima review
Just traded in my 2013 for a 2018 with less than 18,000 miles on it. I loved my Optima and wanted another. This one is nice, but missing the heated steering wheel my other EX had. I like the looks of the cabin on my 2013 better than this one, but it’s not bad. It’s a smooth comfortable ride, good on gas and has some nice safety features. Definitely not disappointed.

2015 Kia Optima review
I don't ever write reviews, but will now. I've had this 2015 optima ex turbo 1.4 yrs and really performs well! Smooth ride and not bad on gas. Have had no engine problems. No issues but little head space in cabin . Anyone over 5 10 is in trouble. It feels solid/safe driving. The turbo really moves when power is needed.

The passenger seat does not rise and sits too low. When riding as a passenger, I cannot see out over the front. I installed a 1"-1 1/12" riser and this only helped a little. Not a happy passenger!

I negotiated a price on-line and when I got there and they were getting the paperwork ready we were chatting and when I mentioned that I was retired military they knocked an additional $500 off the price. They could have easily just said the discount was part of the negotiated price since I had mentioned it in my email exchanges but they didn't, the honesty was extremely refreshing. This was the second car I've purchased from this dealership and the last experience in 2020 was just as good. I highly recommend both the dealership and Curtis and Fikir. 2020 Kia Optima review
I got the 2020 KIA Optima S trim. The car is great! This is my first car and the safety features helps me out a lot. The backup camera works really well thankfully because I can’t see see anything out the back window lol. I’m in the military so I drive her around a little more often than usual. The car holds up well. The car is very comfortable as well I drive her back home (15hrs) and have no issues at all. The fuel economy is great as well get around 530 miles on a full tank. The car is not a race car so I wouldn’t expect that kind of performance. That being said she is pretty fast and handles great! I got mine in 2021 for about $24k with around 23k miles on it. For the money I’d definitely say it’s worth it.

2020 Kia Optima review
We love our 2020 Optima. So much for the $$. Good size, ride, and ample features including safety for the money. 2nd owner and my daughters commute to college at 34-35 mpg which is good for this size car. Unfortunately too many have engine failure with 2.4L (8-10k replacement) and nearing 60k warranty end I'm going to trade for a Honda or Toyota rather than roll the dice. A shame they can't provide a bulletproof engine with an otherwise awesome car!!

Rather than trying to steer me toward a different trim, he went above and beyond to locate and reserve the exact Nightshade I wanted. From the very beginning, Tyler was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive. He answered every question I had, kept me updated throughout the entire process, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. When I picked up my vehicle, he took the time to walk me through the features, helped me pair my phone, showed me how to use the hands-free power liftgate and fuel door, and made sure I was comfortable before I left. What really stood out was that Tyler made it clear his support didn't end after the sale. He encouraged me to call him anytime if I had questions or ran into any issues with my new vehicle, which gave me a great deal of confidence. This is my second Toyota, and although I purchased my first one from a different dealership, I chose Sheehy Toyota of Laurel solely because of Tyler Willis. After this experience, I can't imagine buying my next Toyota anywhere else. Tyler has earned my trust, my future business, and my highest recommendation.
2016 Kia Optima review
We bough this car used in August from a Nissan dealer. There were some hidden problems that unfortunately the dealer did not disclose right away. Window regulator apparently are a problem with this car as well as engine burning oil prematurely. I performed a two-day cylinder soak and upgraded to a higher quality oil and the oil burning is no longer an issue. Apart from these problems, the car has been great for us. No other issues and the EX version is really loaded (it even has ventilated seats). Multimedia gets slow after being updated, be aware. But updates adds some features like, for example, lowering the fan speed when you get a call or ask to read a message. It is compatible with android auto and apple car play, not wireless but you can get one of those adapters.

2014 Kia Optima review
I bought this car used from friend they did have motor problem but they bought it new so kia replaced motor and my daughter drove it couple years then when she graduated I took Kia and bought her new car for her and grandkids and I have been happy with it. It's my everyday car because it gets great MPG. It's got 160k miles about 50K on new motor. So far no issues just keep her up to date on oil changes and stuff. It's 1st Kia I ever owned and I would definitely give them another go if time to buy another vehicle.

2019 Kia Optima review
This is now the second optima I have owned and I have to say that I am truly impressed with how KIA has improved over the years. The leg room in this car is fantastic and it's quite comfortable on long rides. Handles nice, has nice acceleration, rides smooth, it's great on fuel, and has very few problems. The interior gets some criticism from some consumers but what I love about it is that it sacrifices flashy exotic dashboard designs for genuine comfort and space. I would argue that the value of the newer optima models exceeds that of the almighty Honda Accord or Toyota Camry. I literally love driving this car and I miss it when I'm riding in someone else's car. The only issue I ever had was with my last optima, which was a knock sensor issue. Kia fixed it free of charge rather quickly and gave me no problems at all about it. My current one has over 50k miles and runs like brand new. You can't even feel the motor running when it's idling. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for more bang for their buck and for anyone who has 1-2 kids.
