This is one of my favorite cars. The only problem with the car is the quality of the dealers. As a luxury car it is great but the dealers tend to be 3rd world. I have very few problems and love the drive and technology.

Grubbs Acura in Grapevine, Texas, is an excellent dealership to purchase a fabulous Acura. I bought my 2nd Acura from Grubbs. Amira (Liz) Romero was great to work with. I initially walked in late in the evening with no appointment with my 88 y/o Mom who I wanted to make sure she could get in and out of the MDX I had my eye on. Liz was kind enough to bring the MDX next to our car to see if Mom could get in and out with her walker. Liz was patient and friendly with my Mom and knew it was important to me to have her comfortable and safe. I made an appointment for the next day to properly test-drive various MDXs. Liz listened to my preferences and concerns then remembered a specific MDX they had on the lot, so she brought it over for me to see. She warned me as she wasn't sure if I'd like the interior color...I took one look and said “I love it” - Red Italian leather! The 3rd MDX we test drove was the charm! Next, I talked to the finance manager, Mandy Matanga. Mandy was friendly and fantastic to work with as she gave me the best deal to fit my budget. I purchased a new 2018 Navigator Premier 2wd. I didnt want large 22 inch wheels or a sunroof. The base/ premier has the same interior as the reserve minus the sunroof automatic running boards and adaptive suspension. With the standard 20 inch wheels the adaptive suspension isnt needed. It is so quiet without the large glass sunroof you barely hear the engine running. It is such a joy to drive with all the features and with 30,000 miles I have averaged 21.2 mpg. I went from the MKC and gase mileage has only dropped about 3 mpg.

Nothing but great things to say about this dealership. They got me into a 2021 Dodge Durango R/T and even beat the interest rate I had from my own bank — all during the winter storm that hit DFW. Communication throughout the entire process was excellent. The online price was exactly what I paid (plus tax). No hidden fees or surprise add-ons like you see at some larger dealerships, which was very important to me. Alfonso went above and beyond by checking on the vehicle after the storm to make sure there was no damage and even advised me to wait to test drive until the roads were safe. After purchase, I had a small sensor issue (likely from the freezing temps), and they quickly connected me with a trusted mechanic who fixed it right away. Best car-buying experience I’ve had. I’ll definitely be referring friends and family.
