Following the test drive I immediately decided to purchase the car that evening. Michael Arevalo quickly drew up the application, as well as managed my trade-in. I used Safford Brown's financing for the car. The financial representative, Ms. Golboo Javid, found a better interest rate than what my bank provided. She made the finance process very easy and pleasant. Start to finish, I left the dealership with my new car in under three hours. 2026 Mazda CX-50 review
The CX-50 is a great car. The exterior and interior are sleek and luxurious, and it drives great. The combo leather/canvas seats are awesome, because you still get the look of leather without the sticky/sweaty feel. Responsive infotainment system and variety of control options (joystick, touch screen, steering wheel buttons) is nice. AWD works great for me in the mountains.

We unfortunately had two old Mazdas which were purchased from Gaithersburg Mazda that died. They tried their best in the service department (which by the way is also a 5-star department) to repair them but the writing was on the wall. We needed two new cars. Maynor Guzman was just the most caring and knowledgeable salesperson we met since being an ongoing customer there. No matter how much time we needed to make a decision or asked to test drive more than one vehicle, he was very accommodating and then some. And his service didn't stop there. Overall the dealership was good they do have a little issue with communication. There were a few times I replied to the salesman‘s email, but he never replied back. One of them was price of the vehicle. He said he was going to talk to his manager but he never replied back. There was also another time where I was going to come down and test drive the vehicle, but he never replied back, so I took that as he didn’t mind me coming down. I ended up buying the vehicle despite some of the body imperfections on the car that the dealership should have mentioned. Despite that the car is in great shape and runs extremely well!

The CX-90 is our 3rd Mazda purchase. We've been owners since 1995, starting with the Mazda Protégé, and had our eye on the new 2025 CX-90 SUV since last year. The Safford Brown staff was welcoming and professional, and our sales rep, Joshua Cruz allowed us to take our time to look around, and really listened to our desires and never felt rushed or pressured to buy. (We even left and came back a couple of weeks later!) We weren't exactly sure of what color, and type of package etc., but Josh was patient, and very informative about each series, which aided in our decision-making. While we were signing the purchase papers Mike had them freshen up the van again and they put a full tank of gas in it for us.
