Used Mazda convertibles for sale near Brookfield, IL

I just purchased (08-2022) a Lexus SC430 with 30,000 miles on it and bought it site unseen. I know that is something you should not do but after reading the Carfax which outlined the care the car has had I felt reasonably confident. I did trust what the sales person re-laid to me about the car. To my surprise the car was better than what I was expecting. It arrived highly detailed and after a 100 mile drive found it to be as presented, if not better than what Joelson Maldonado the salesman presented to me. Excellent follow up to all my inquires. I lived 400 miles away but would buy a car from this dealership again even though they are tough negotiators. But the car was priced fairly compared to others I found on the internet.

I find this car fun to drive. I belong to a Miata Club and we take rides into the rural areas of NJ where there are many winding roads and this car performs really well.The suspension is a little stiff but you have to expect that in a little sports car. The only complaint is that it could use a little more horsepower, it's about 150 but the newer cars are now 180

We have owned the car for a month and have put on 3,000 miles. Its a lot of fun to drive but the passenger side is really lacking in leg room and the center console controls are difficult to get to. Its a real head turner!

Overall a great experience with Napleton's Oak Lawn Mazda Sales team was easy to work with specifically Ali Sayes. Got good deal on msrp and not pressure.

At first glance you ask yourself... what did I buy. It looks small and very low to the ground. You manage to get in and start the car. The engine roars to life and it's louder than what you might be used to. The seat hugs your body and you begin to get comfortable. First gear sprints the MX-5 into what feels like a roller coaster ride. It's lively and fun, and you tell yourself... yeah, I can get used to this. Is you're looking for excuses to take it out for a ride.

December 2024 bought a 2023 Mazda Miata Grand Touring with 34,500 miles. Drove the car from South Florida to the SC coast, 10 hours. Fantastic fun drive! 6 speed manual with a soft top only weighs 2350 pounds, spirited ride, excellent power and fuel economy, 35 mpg. Good tech with blind spot monitors, cruise, power windows and locks. Push button start, heated seats and navigation just enough tech. Puts a smile on your face just looking at it, lots of compliments and you are just happy driving this magnificent, magical machine!! Just love it! 🥰

Puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. The only thing I would change is put the glove box and CD player in a better reachable spot. They are located between the seats and behind the driver so you can’t reach them from the drivers seat.

I’m 6’3” and 250 lbs and fit perfectly in this little car. Very fun to drive! I always drop the top and go; very easy to put up and down while sitting in the drivers seat. Very quick and I love the standard 6 speed. The older ones I didn’t fit in. It does not fit much, but it is a lot of fun to drive and also has a premium sound system and ice cold air and CD player. I always wanted an MG when I was young. This is even better.

Was informative without being pushy, and patiently answered all of my questions. Would recommend, made the whole experience easy. We visited several dealers before buying, we purchased here because of how we were treated.

After riding motorcycles for 56 years, at 66, I bought a 2010 Miata MX5 GT with soft top and 6 speed auto/manual. Weighing 175 lbs. puts the car with equal weight on all 4 wheels. This is the most fun car I’ve owned. My grandson will get it when I kick the bucket. I’ll be hanging on to it as long as I can.

If you are looking for great fun, economical maintenance costs and outstanding reliability this is the car for you. I had mine for ten years with only normal maintenance. Winding back roads in a Miata are where you will want to be.

October 15, 2022 I recently purchased a 2010 Cadillac DTS from NetMotors.com. I had never purchased a car online, sight unseen before. I talked to Mike P. and he told me had just inspected the car for 45 minutes and pointed out a few minor things that were wrong, but they were not deal breakers for me. Mike P. explained everything in detail and kept me informed as to how things were progressing with my wire transfer and delivery. We were pleased with the car when it was delivery date. Mike P. called after delivery to make sure we were satisfied. A key fob was not working and he suggested reprogramming following instructions in the manual and that worked. There were no floor mats and even though they were not pictured they shipped me a set from another car. Their customer service was excellent.

I was reaar-end3ed in a hit and run - totaled the car. However, the car saved my life, turned off the engine and dialed 911 before I was even able to know if I was hurt. Very impressive for such a small car.

We saw a car online, called them and made an appointment to see it. Once at the dealership they were very professional. Layla Hill was our sales person who showed us the car. It was exactly as it was represented online. There was a couple of scratches that needed to be repaired. The dealership repaired them (sooner than expected) and they delivered the vehicle to our house! Layla went through all the features. Overall a very good experience!

There are a lot of professional reviews that state the absolute fun of driving this vehicle. After owning this car and driving in multiple traffic conditions in south Florida, I have to say that the reviews are completely correct. I've owned my share of cars, including some sports cars, like a 2021 WRX (manual tranny) and a 2004 RX-8 (auto tranny). This 2022 Miata MX-5 definitely beats the WRX hands down in drivability and fun. It also edges out the RX-8, but the rotary is something in its own class. My favorite thing about this car is the gear ratio. It fits in almost every driving condition. There's plenty of room in 1st and 2nd while in rush hour traffic, and if you want to step on it, holy cow! This car is F>A>S>T>!!! It's reportedly set to go to 60mph in under 6 seconds, and I believe it. After 500 miles on the odo, the car seemed to open up and got even more fast and fun. At first I thought the cockpit was too small. After getting into this car from my Mazda 3, I felt cramped and a bit claustrophobic. That lasted about three days. Now it feels totally natural and comfortable. I'm 5'9" and slender build, so I really fit in this car. Someone above 6ft tall and larger build would probably feel tight. This is a glorious go kart, with a Bose stereo, terra cotta leather seats, and platinum quartz color. It corners like no one's business, and if I turned off my traction control, it would drift beautifully. With the traction control, it catches and corrects in an intentional slide. The turning radius is ridiculously tiny. Throwing the top open takes about 3 seconds, literally. The seats have speakers in the head area for calls and the higher pitch of the Bose sound. This is my daily driver, and I love it. If you have a partner who has a larger car for the more practical notions, go get one of these before you turn 80. You'll be glad you did.

This is my second Miata (first was a 1990), and I love it so much! Retractable hardtop roof is SO convenient!! Love the manual 6 speed for all the pep, and gas mileage is exceptional. I would consider a new one if the traditional, bright red paint and retractable hard top were both available. Since they're not, I'll stick with what I've got and enjoy it many more years!

Tariq brought a beautiful red 2005 Mercury Mariner around front with new tires and brakes. I asked if it was okay to take it to my mechanic to get it looked at. He agreed and I took it there. My mechanic hooked it up to the computer and said he didn't find a single thing wrong. When I brought it back for a minor problem, Tariq took care of it for me, even though he didn't have to as I had bought the vehicle "as is." Wonderful staff and very nice vehicles available.

I'm still orginal 2006 owner.Great little mousee Everyone loves the orginal color.Color name kept private. Lots of wanna buyers.I don't want to let it go because of issue one problem.. this start of yr.noticed fluid leak from transmission its rear main seal,instead of replacing this part, it's highly possible gonna replace whole rebuilt transmission.Thinking of not replace rmseal because engine and transmission may have to come down and would have to pay twice, We don't think will owe another mazda reason no transmission dip stick and can't check your fluid like we have oil dipstick.You would have to go in pay for fluid fill up n pay for gasket plus labor

Dealt with this CarMax dealer over the phone and email. Tried to negotiate a price based on other dealers in the area for the same vehicle and was told that the price listed was the price you pay!

Many years ago, I had a 1972 TR-6 that was a blast to drive, but painful to own due to reliability issues. The 22 Miata offers the same fun and enjoyable driving experience without any concerns regarding reliability. It would not be my choice for a daily driver, but at least it can handle foul weather without concern. The excitement of road trips in the Miata makes the trip a far more enjoyable adventure.

Communicated with John Leno from the Schaumburg facility online. John understood my needs and responded quickly with Jeeps to review - after a bit of humming and hawing on my part, I changed my mind to trucks. I found a truck at another facility, John had it tranferred and within 2 days my soon to be truck arrived - and it is a beauty. John was training Matt and they both demonstrated immense knowledge throughout the interaction and I appreciated the ease of communication (not pushy). I cannot comment on the financing portion of the transaction, but closing went just as smoothly with Hubert and his supervisor. WHile impressed with my transaction I was also impressed with the amount of time that was placed on the training of new employees, or employees transferring. While yes my truck need a repair on the fog lights, it is covered under their warranty, I am highly impressed with my experience. From walking in the front door, to having John take my picture of me and my truck with a giant yellow ribbon... every individual at Carmax truly made the buying and trading experience a wonderful experience. I moved up from a 2015 Mazda 3 sport to the 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata Grand Touring soft top in May of 2020. It is soul red with tan leather interior. I have received many compliments from people who say the car looks more expensive then it really is. I prefer the soft top over the hard top model because it was almost 5 grand cheaper and I get more open space when driving with the top down. Takes me about two seconds to drop the top even while I'm sitting in the driver seat at a stop light. It is a lot of fun in sport mode on the highway as you can easily pass about anyone in seconds. Sometimes people move out of you way when they see you in their rear view mirror, lol. I turned off the lane departure feature as it beeps too much for me. I love the blind spot feature, automatic headlights, automatic climate control, seat heaters, and rain sensing wipers. There is a lot of wind noise in the cabin even with the top up and it is not as comfortable on long rides like the Mazda 3 was but I wouldn't go back. The trunk space is only good for one week of groceries or one carry on suitcase. There is no spare tire so I recommend having roadside assistance. CarPlay for iPhone works seamlessly and the Bose system sounds awesome. Build quality is top notch on this car, nothing feels cheap, and everything is laid out well. You have storage behind your seats but be aware the glove box is in between the seats and can be blocked by anything in the cup holders. I'm 5 foot 3 so this car fits me perfectly.

I purchased this car to have a small convertible for pleasure use and it's perfect for my needs. The Soul Red color is beautiful. I am a big guy but after a little maneuvering of my body to enter it, I feel very comfortable in it. It's a 6 speed manual with a short but smooth shift knob. Lots of extras and features and still have to learn to navigate some of them. It has enough power for my needs and great gas mileage. Only wish it had automatic climate control and a little less road noise on the highway. The lane departure alert is very sensitive and irritating but is a good trade off for safety. It needs a cabin trunk release knob and if it has one, I can't find it. I would prefer leather seats and Bose radio system but my cloth seats are comfortable with excellent quality fabric and the 6 speaker radio is acceptable to someone who's not an audiophile. Lastly, would love automatic headlight dimmers so I don't blind oncoming drivers at night! Overall, I now know why it is so highly rated and I love it already.

This is my second Miata. I also own an ‘03 NB and have put a lot into it over the years. I’ve eyeballed ‘16+ Miatas for years and finally found a ‘21 Grand Touring with 2k miles on it and bought it. Aesthetically, it is a beautiful car. Ergonomically, everything is in its proper place and I fit perfectly at 6’. I have the seat pushed all the way back so anyone taller could possibly find themselves uncomfortable. I swapped the original rims and tires out for some Konig rims and Continental all-season tires. The stock rims are 7” wide and the aftermarket are 8” wide: more traction on the road. Off the line, you can chirp the tires so the power is certainly adequate. The manual gear box is tight and shifts cleanly. It is an extremely fun, nimble, and reliable car. The Grand Touring has the leather, backup camera, and Bose stereo. I have driven this car hard through the “twisties” and cruised it 500 miles with no reservations. There isn’t anything really needing done to this car; it is a fantastic ride out of the box. I did, however, give the performance a “4” because I know there is room for growth with aftermarket products. Nevertheless, you won’t be disappointed. Be careful though! My buddy wrecked his ‘19 Miata RF two weeks ago pushing it just a little too hard.

I have owned 4 Miata's over the years. My current one is a British Green 2002 LS. I purchased it 3 years ago ad it had 38,000 miles on it and I am the 2nd owner. It has the automatic transmission and factory installed mudguards and rear spoiler. I have only driven it 2,500 miles since purchased but like the other 3 I have owned it is extremely reliable, handles smartly and gas mileage is decent averaging 25mpg. It has always been garaged and has no rust. I plan on keeping it for a long time.

The salesperson I met with was very pleasant to deal with and was good about getting back to me. It seems like there are no hidden fees and the cars are in good condition.

This car was bought for my 65th birthday. I know , there is no fool like an old fool but puleezee. The Miata was my dream care. All I can say is it is just sweet.

Just a great little car. Most think it is much more expensive than it is. Very comfortable with great features. A lot of class for a small sporty car.
