2026 Nissan Pathfinder review
Tried to like other SUV's with smaller engines but I could not get past the lack of power. Hybrids are out of the question for me. It would be great if you could disable the the engine governor instead of pushing the button to turn it off every time we start the car. For the price and the size it is perfect for our needs. Lay the seats down and haul stuff or fill up the car with children. Very versatile. Price was reasonable compared to other third row SUV's. I can see us taking trips in this one.

2026 Toyota Tacoma review
I always wanted a midsize pickup truck and I always wanted one of the Toyota Tacoma. I driven one used which was bought by my brother in law in the 80 with no power option just old school pickup. Now turning the clock forward to 2026 my first midsize pickup truck Toyota Tacoma. I truly believe people at Toyota have gotten everything right the ride is smooth with SR5 model and the price is right for all levels of pickup who don’t need additional options which I love. So far with 5’ of bed it should work out for me and family using it. It is comfortable drive that completed my everyday commute and things around the house and other projects that needed to be done. Having 2 children it is a plus with 4 doors on the SR5 model. It is like everything we wanted in a midsize pickup truck. For me and my family use for everyday life. I highly recommend Toyota Tacoma it is very expensive but in the long run it is worth every penny….

Went to test drive a new vehicle they had in stock - we had researched the features we want and this one was a close match. Made an appointment the day before. The salesperson reached out soon after I made the appointment. He greeted us when we arrived at the dealership the next afternoon and right away went for the test drive. Liked the vehicle but noted that it was missing a couple features we really wanted. However, the salesperson was very good, he did not push but indicated that he would be able to offer a good deal if we would consider the vehicle despite it missing a couple features. We said let?s see the numbers. He came back with a decent offer. I countered and that was accepted - just one round of back and forth. Only thing we could not agree on is the trade-in, so we took it off the table and completed the paperwork in the next hour or so. Everything was handled very professionally and without any outward sales pressure. Only underwhelming part is the vehicle delivery experience compared to my recent experiences with two BMW and Mini deliveries. The salesperson drove the vehicle to the front and handed me the key. Felt like he was ready to call it a day.
2026 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 review
My GLC has pretty much every feature. I love the luxury styling and feel. The Nappa leather, AMG package and Pinnacle trim are worth the cost. I found the Driver Assistance Package easy to master and is very helpful. Driving is quiet and smooth, but hard acceleration kicks in too abruptly.

Great value. Good combination of performance and economy. Sometimes while first starting the conversion from battery to gas mode is very noticeable. Gas mileage should be around 36 for combined driving in the warm weather.

2026 Kia Sportage Hybrid review
I`ve only had the Kia Sportage EX AWD hybrid for 3 weeks previously owning a 2023 Toyota Rav4 XLE (gas) that seemed bullet proof even after 30K miles. Looking to upgrade to a new hybrid vehicle I was thoroughly impressed with my Kia test drive . The Kia Sportage is so smooth and quiet with strong acceleration and comes with an automatic transmission instead of a CVT. 2026 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid review
This is my 2nd new 2026 Tacoma Hybrid LIMITED. Why the limited? Full time 4WD with ability to bypass center differential and go full time 4WD high and low, like the non-limited versions. I found that the torque was too high in anything but the full time 4WD limited hybrid, and the rear wheels would slip. If not full time 4WD, can't put into 4WD proactively seeing a dangerous situation ahead and making a turn until you are in the bad stuff, which is normally too late. In my humble opinion, if you don't have this specific variant of the Tacoma, it isn't worth it. The solid full time 4WD is worth it in all driving conditions from dry, to wet, to snow. No rear wheel slip pulling out of a slight incline on dry pavement. Even with weight in back, the non-full time 4WD models slip. That said, there are things about this that are annoying. The handoff from electric to gas can be jolting or grate on your nerves like hearing a bad song over and over again. However, the MPG gain, is music to my ears, instead of 16 or maybe 17mpg, I'm usually at 24mpg on a mixed run of city, suburbs, and highway. This is not like other hybrid models, in operation or smoothness. You will sometimes find when cold it is a bit clunky or unpredictable with shifts and stuff. And sometimes, braking can be unpredictable as to how much pressure is needed. I haven't figured out why, but think it has something to do with the hybrid as a non-hybrid 2025 trd off road I had, didn't have that issue. Now, the other annoying thing, and happened on both of the 2026 limited hybrids I bought. The drivers seat, the seatback, will recline all the way to touch the rear seat bottom cushion. Seems to be when you walk out of range with remote and car is running. Why? Don't know but will look into it when it goes in for its first service. The good stuff is many, and one of those is the A/C. It's a hybrid A/C system so it's not dependent on the gas engine running to put out super cold A/C. That is a must for me. And while there are no back seat vents for A/C, it cools the whole thing off well and quickly. The ventilated seats are also amazing. The large radio screen, the big dials to turn up/down the temp, and radio, these are awesome. Being able to see all around the truck, well that is so nice, no chance you won't see something. I know I use the auto on feature, so when starting out, or below 10mph, the cameras come on automatically. The remote features are also amazing. A digital key in your phone, a credit card sized physical key for your wallet, and the app will all let you get in and start and drive your truck. So if you forget your key, you can move on without it. You can set your HVAC settings from the app on remote start. You can check status of tire pressure, doors open/closed, windows open/closed, etc. via the app. Priceless. Overall, it's a great truck for me, an older guy who needs the legroom nothing else really can provide except a competitive mid-sized truck, but can't get as a hybrid and full time 4WD. Besides all of that, Toyotas do hold their value. When I traded in my Tacoma TRD off road that was about 3 months old, I didn't lose any money on it. They are in demand. And so are these models. The electric tailgate is awesome and would not want to do without anymore. Parking assist sensors are very helpful. And if people tell you the front spoiler underneath the truck looks stupid, I'll tell you that after a couple of days you never even see it let alone worry about it. If it helps mpg's, it stays on. The lights are all LED's in and out. The LED cargo lights and trailer light are very useful. Same with the puddle lamps and door marker lights for when a door is open to prevent others from seeing it Is open.

2026 Jeep Wrangler review
Bought a new Willys model 2 door. Got nearly 10k off at Brandon Tomes in McKinney. Best Jeep I’ve had so far, and I’ve owned quite a few, dating back to the eighties. Mine has the 2.0 turbo and the 8 speed automatic, and it is surprisingly quick. A bit of turbo lag, but it comes in early at about 3k rpm, and the torque is fantastic. Seems like a lotta folks still want the inline six, but after owning two, those engines are dogs. Also had two V6 models, a JK and JT, and this engine outperforms both. With proper maintenance, should last a good while, but we’ll see. The 8 speed has a great reputation, as does the Rubicon spec suspension. Overall, happy with this Jeep, would recommend.

I recently purchased a Pre Owned vehicle from Nick Nichols Ford and had been very pleased with my purchase. I had only been able to drive it in local traffic rarely exceeding 45 mph. I had to make a trip to Tampa and once on I-75 I was at highway speed for the first time since having the vehicle. Due to a sudden traffic situation in front of me I had to hit my brakes hard , when I did I instantly noticed a shimmy in the steering wheel. I was able to make contact with Mr. Mark Anderson , Service Dept manager, and he advised me to bring it in and ask for him directly Mr.Anderson had the vehicle front brakes checked and it was found that the front rotors were worn , he then authorized the mechanic to replace the rotors. I wanna start off by saying my last Experience approaching a vehicle from Sun Toyota In Holiday Florida was a complete nightmare. That was two years ago. I went in yesterday to have a couple of things taken care of. The gentlemen by the name of Michael Shumaker Was the first person that I spoke to when I pulled into the bay. I explain issues I had said while you’re waiting can I show you a car that I think would be happier with. From the very beginning, I told him The issues that I had with my prior purchase. He was so patient and still took the time to go over her numbers to see if he could match my payment. I received the inspection of my vehicle at 8:34 AM. At 11:17 AM the advisor called me and asked me what they wanted to do about Top mounted brake light. At that point, I put my phone on mute with the advisor and told Michael that I needed to walk out of the store because I was furious. He followed me out to talk to me. I told him that thanks to the advisor that he just lost a sale. When I went back inside, he sat down with me the waiting section and we talk some more. Let’s just say he not only came up with the best offer, he got me a better deal on it the vehicle that is completely loaded and is in perfect condition and I looked at him and I said you’ve got a deal and shook my hand. Michael Shumaker Was extremely patient with me. He went to the mat for me and got me a payment that was no more than seven dollars more than my original payment. Not only that but I do not have to make a payment for 45 days as well as I’m getting over a $500 refund check from something that they had put on my old car loan two years ago. This guy is the guy you want to go and ask for when you go there. He was with me for over three hours because I couldn’t decide what to do in the entire time we were together he looked at me directly in the eyes as While speaking and had feedback for all my concerns and questions. This gentleman truly went way above and beyond. He deserves more than a 5 Star rating. In my review, I’m going to give him 10 stars. He told me what I need to go back For any type of service to contact him first. This gentleman even followed up with me in the evening to see how I was enjoying my new purchase. Sun Toyota Extremely lucky lucky to have Michael Shumaker On their team. I hope they do whatever they can to keep him there. Should he go elsewhere I will follow him wherever he goes. I hope that people read the reviews for Sun Toyota In. See this. You will not regret going there and asking for this gentleman.

2026 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid review
As a longtime Subaru owner, I was already familiar with the Crosstrek. I wanted a hybrid but didn't have the infrastructure for a plugin, so the new Crosstrek's use of the "traditional" hybrid system was already a motivating factor. The controls are intuitive and well laid out, the ride is very smooth, and the cabin feels designed for shorter drivers. (I test drove a Forester and for a person under 5'4", it felt like driving on a barstool.) The Limited trim also offered nice touches such as a heated steering wheel. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a compact SUV with all-wheel drive.

I've had no problem but I talked to my friend who's a certified mechanic and they're having a lot of problems with the engine blowing up at very low mileage. A lot of the time less than 15,000. Some of them have problems with the thrust bearings failing causing increased crankshaft play back and forth to the point where the timing chain and the rubber belt that runs the oil pump can fail. The engine has been described as grenading. They're basically self-destructs. There's a specific power code that indicates low oil pressure and allowed rattle sound before it finally fails. I heard that the engines were on back order, so if you're one of the unfortunates you can plan on waiting 10 or 12 weeks or longer to get your truck back. They have to remove the cab completely to swap motors. But overall I love the truck. It's a big improvement over the 2022 I just traded in.

2026 Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid review
I have had the car one month so far, RAV4 plug n see They say I can go 50 miles on electric charge, I am getting 55 to 58 depending on my driving style with running the a/c. So far I have not used a drop of gas. I am charging at night from 10pm to 7 am using 110 standard plug. The lowest I have taken battery down is 28%. Our local electric company has great rates from 12 to 6 am, I have figured my charging cost at about .64 cents per night for a full charge. The car is very quiet and smooth, with the horse power at 300 plus it is very quick. Looks great and runs like you want.

2026 Chevrolet Colorado review
The driving compartment of the truck has plenty of leg, hip, shoulder, and elbow room. There is more than enough head room for my 06'00" frame. The ergonomics of the steering wheel, controls connected to the steering wheel, dashboard controls, controls in the door, and console controls are well engineered and ample enough for a person who wears size XXL gloves. I did not get electric controls for the seats, and wish I had. The manual seat controls leave a little to be desired. The backseat has plenty of leg and shoulder room as well. Operation of the doors is simple; they open and close easily. My 05'03" partner has to really stretch to get into my Trail Boss model. Performance of the truck is superb, with plenty of acceleration to pass when needed. The steering input is as neutral as I have ever experienced with no over- or under-steer. Ride comfort is excellent, front and back seats, with the suspension easily handling standard road bumps. Cornering is much nicer than I really expected from a vehicle of this length and height off the pavement. I don't tow anything, so can't address that aspect. If you're considering a mid-size truck, you would be well served to really examine a Colorado!
