Chuck Lucas was our sales person, and he was amazing! He treated us like family, and that made us feel like we were exactly where we needed to be. One of the first things he told us was that he is a Christian, and he feels called to make sure that his customer's car buying experience is a positive and blessed one. He was in no way pushy, and even asked more than once if we had any questions or concerns about the vehicle. Before I test drove a car, I explained to Chuck that we had just been discharged from a 5-year bankruptcy. I needed to let him know about that up front, because I knew financing would be a problem due to our credit situation. I did not want to waste his time or ours, if the dealership did not deal with people that have credit issues. Chuck told me that they are a family-owned and operated business, and they understand that life is not easy, and that hardships arise. At no time were my husband and I made the feel uncomfortable due to our credit situation. The finance department did a great job of getting our credit approved, and our payment where it needed to be. I would 100% recommend the Dick Dean Subaru team, and when it is time for another vehicle we will be back.

This vehicle is one of the ugliest things I have ever seen. However, it does meet all of my needs and it is a very smooth ride. It is kind of a pain to get into the 3rd row when you need to. The 2nd row captain seats don't move forward a whole lot for someone who is taller than 5'4-5'5 to get in the back. It can be done is just a struggle. I gave it a 3 on reliability because we have only had it for 2.5 weeks so I'm not sure yet. On our recent road trip we only got 20mpg on the highway. We were hoping for the 27 it shows in the specifications. We just didn't get that. Overall a good vehicle just has a few things that we personally don't like.

Brian Buhr was available to discuss the deal even on his days off! We actually enjoyed working with him and Sveta in the closing hours of negotiations. They were knowledgeable about the vehicle and the process we were going through -- our last purchase was a 2002 EXT from Moore in ~2002! A lot has changed! We are hoping to have the same experience with our 2018 we have had with our 2000 and 2002 Escalades! We are keeping both cars so I'll have the EXT (~150K miles) for the farm and around town trips. Susan loves her 2000 Escalade (~40K) -- we broke it in going to Boise, ID in January 2000 driving through the Rockies in January; an experience! The 4-wheel drive paid for itself! However, we were unable to get the Super Bowl coming back through Nebraska on AM or FM. We called On-Star every ten minutes (they suggested it!) and they kept us informed how the Rams were doing. We watched the last quarter in the motel in Lincoln. Such a deal!

For the first time EVER, buying a car was not a painful experience; it was actually pleasant. Sead Music was my salesperson; he was straightforward, but kept things light with his good humor. I also worked with David Evans. Initially, as he explained how (he felt) the internet "conditional" price was quite upfront and obvious, I was convinced I'd be exiting within minutes with no intention of returning. His explanation came off a bit demeaning, like 'duh, this is totally obvious', and I couldn't disagree more. The "conditional" advertised price was correct ONLY if you were a recent college grad, active or retired military, AND a current or previous owner of the same make/model you were purchasing. I don't know of many who would actually qualify for all three of those, and as such, I feel the pricing is deceptive. To the best of my knowledge, there is no upfront disclaimer on the site regarding those specific requirements. And if there was, I'd completely retract my statement because I think that would be completely fair. I do feel it is my responsibility, as a consumer, to read the fine print. I do not, however, think it is my responsibility to scour the site or call the dealership to ensure I understand the pricing structure. It's too burdensome on the consumer and, frankly, feels unethical. So, basically, it gets people (like me) in the door, and I get that. Anyway, I heard him out, and other than his initial remark re: pricing, he was professional and very straightforward, which I greatly appreciated. I very frankly, but politely, explained that I, personally, loathe the back and forth game that seems to be required to get a fair deal when purchasing a vehicle. You can tell David is very experienced in sales and is adept at reading people. He more or less mirrored my approach and demeanor, we worked on numbers, and very quickly reached an agreement. I don't think I got a steal, but I do feel the price was fair and I could not be happier with the no BS approach and the speed and mannerisms of both Sead and David. I also worked with Steve Emerson in finance. He, too, was a pleasure to work with and made the process a breeze. He did promote all of the adds (gap coverage, extended warranty, interior/exterior protection plan, etc.) as he should in his role (and I purchased all of the above), but was not overly aggressive or pushy, and was even fun. Great personality. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience. I was in and out, the waiting area (which I was never in for long) was clean, comfortable and more than accommodating with complimentary snacks (good stuff you'd actually want to eat - ice cream, cookies, fruit for the health conscious, coffee, water, etc.), and Sead gave me a quick run through of the car's features and made sure everything was working properly before I left. Five stars for keeping it real.

I contacted Dean Team to see about getting a 2018 VW Beetle Dune, with certain specifications that I wanted. Reese contacted me and we started the process. Here are some highlights: - Reese went over every part of the process with me so that I understood what was happening. - He made pricing very clear, including any fees and taxes I would need to pay over the price of the car - They had to do an extensive search to find the exact car I wanted. Reese was very diligent in this search, keeping us informed as the search was progressing, then as the car was found and was making its way to St. Louis (the nearest car they could find was in New Jersey!). - Doing the paperwork didn't take too long, maybe 90 minutes of discussion, waiting, and signing. They have free Wi-Fi so it eases the wait a little. - When I took delivery of the car, Reese walked me through every feature and function. He even came in on his day off - Overall, working with Reese was a very pleasant experience. Not to knock other car salesman, but he doesn't have that slimy vibe that makes you want to head for the hills (you know what I'm talking about). If we buy a VW again, we'll go to Reese for sure.

Exactly one month ago, I was in the market for a Mercedes Benz CLA 250 and they had one. It was the right price, the right color, the right mileage. I didn't call before hand to set up an appointment, but that didn't make a difference. I was made immediately comfortable by Marvin. He introduced himself and put me at ease. My sales expert, Dave, was frigging awesome. He knew so much about the car. When I wasn't sure if I wanted it or not (at first I was underwhelmed), he had me test drive a BMW 320i for a comparison. I still wasn't convinced, so Marvin suggested I take it home overnight. Everyone agreed and of course, I fell in love with it. I traded in a car and they gave me a fair market value. I did come with my own financing so it made the transaction totally smooth. 2 weeks after I had the car, Dave called me to see if I was still in love and to check on me. He also reminded me that I can bring it there for servicing. This was the easiest and smoothest process I have ever had when buying a car. Everyone here is wonderful and I will always come here. This testimonial is well over due! My experience started almost 15 years ago as a little kid seeing my parents come home with a new car, from Tom Pappas Toyota of course. I never understood why they???ve bought approximately 4-5 cars from Pappas until it was my turn to buy as a 18 year old teenager ready to make my first major purchase. I of course had to use Mark Garner because well, that???s who my parents trusted and referred. I bought a 2009 Scion tC, which meant no way to negotiate which meant pure pricing back then! I???ve had my ups and downs with my tc, bought her July 3, 2008. lets fast forward and talk about what seemed to me a very simple recall, regarding my car burning through a ton of oil, not good with cars but that???s the English version. I remember calling Chris Banks in a panic because my car was driving very ???rocky???. Of course he knew about the recall, told me to drive it up to so many miles so they can track the consumption per Toyota to figure out my issue. I drove away, got 1 minute away and freaked out! Called Chris and he said please come back and go from there. He was so good with keeping me calm and explaining the issues. Come to find out I almost blew a rod, what ever that meant, found out could have destroyed my engine and my car would essentially be non drivable. Chris immediately put me in a loaner and said he would look at her in more depth. Make a long story short, the oil piston recall if I???m using correct terms resulted in the damage. The damage would cost me roughly $7,000 in repairs including labor and rental. I was in no state of mind to drop that kind of money, she???s been paid off for roughly 2 years at this time. Oh and she unfortunely was not worth $7,000. This is where Kyle, Chris, myself and the Vice President which I believe was Tom Pappas son had a private conversation with how we were going to resolve this unepected surprise. Most dealerships would hand me the 1-800 number and say take it up with Toyota, because it???s a Toyota recall, not the dealerships issue. When I say this dealership went above and beyond, that would be an understatement. My out of pocket expense cost me nothing, they figured out the repair cost directly with Toyota! I remember Kyle calling me with the news and I was so happy and appreciative! They easily could have started the whole conversation with buying a new car but they didn???t. They recognized the many many years of loyalty myself and my parents had to Tom Pappas! I tell this story to a lot of people when buying/servicing their vehicle to go straight to Tom Pappas! Tom Pappas I really hope you recognize your team, I???ve never had any negative experience with any of your staff members. Do I have my go to favorites, well of course! Without those people, who knows what kind of car I???d be driving or how much debt I???d be in! As much as I???m dreading buying a new car, I just can???t listen to other people recommending dealerships and sales people to me. I laugh and smile and respond with telling them I have my people and place to buy my next car! Biggest shout out to Mark Garner who I bought my first car from, Chris banks who is always there to answer my silly odd questions and of course goes above and beyond without question, to Kyle who is service supervisor who went to battle with Toyota regarding my major car repair, to the Vice President at the time, I???m sorry I don???t recall his name, young fella who was extremely helpful as well! Truck has more than plenty of power. It is the roughest riding and most uncomfortable truck I've ever owned. Minor reliability issues covered under warranty and whole truck shakes at highway speeds. Vibrations are a known issue with these trucks, but no fix avaiable. Pass this one up and go for the Chevy!

This car was everything I was looking for. Good gas mileage, plenty of room, sleek look. I've only had it a few days, but I love it! Good pick up, handles well, and easy to convert backseats for hauling. I read some complaints about the car vibrating, which was concerning. It does have a slight vibration, but mine is not like some people said. I have only noticed it a couple times at a stop. Not a bog deal to me given all the other great things about the car.

Reason I came to St. Charles Nissan was service department is the best in the St. Louis area! So I wanted to look at buying a new/used truck, and Scott Riley was our salesperson. First and foremost Scott was very professional and courtesy and extremely knowledgeable. He immediately pulled the used trucks on the lot and showed us several, then offered to show us a mid-size truck (Frontier) I was skeptical since I've only owned full size trucks but we looked at 10 to 12 trucks and even a few new 2017's still on the lot. Scott let us test drive the Frontier and I felt the Frontier would be ideal solution to my next truck. Scott went above and beyond in working with us to get the right price, and getting a fair price for my trade in. This was by far the best experience I've had in buying a new vehicle. I would highly recommend Scott to any of my family members or friends. Again Scott thanks for all of your help on my purchase of a 2018 Frontier.

Great for an active life--mountains to the beach! This is the best car in the snow or any inclement weather. The gas mileage isn't great, but it's absolutely worth it overall.

Service was Amazing. Manager Just Glaze went way above any other dealership service I have been to. Assured me about the service, then found 2 Mfg recalls to which he had fixed as well. I am a hard grader with attention to details. Justin made me a believer in dealership repairs again. Well worth th 20 miles from my house. I even had 2 closer dealers including where I purchased my car. Auto Plaza now has a new patron!!!

Roomy, comfortable and smooth. We refer to it as the "remada". It's not a good suv for gas, but it'l tow anything you want, has room for tons, and takes the 87 octane gas.
