2023 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
The Ioniq 5 is the safest and most comfortable car I've ever driven. Now that I have a Tesla charging adapter, the charging infrastructure is less of a challenge and my range-seasonal variations from 190 to 290 miles-is sufficient. I have had an issue with the 12-volt battery unexpectedly failing but otherwise the car has been extraordinarily dependable.

My only feedback, as someone who frequently purchases high-end vehicles (Range Rover, Aston Martin, Acura, etc.), is that the dealership can get very busy and you can tell the staff was overwhelm, I think some technology could help them because people would get lost in the waiting room like we did :). This is understandable, especially on a weekend and the last day of the month—partly my timing. Overall, I look forward to building a long-term relationship with this amazing team. After almost 10 years, I’m thrilled to have a BMW back in my garage. Highly recommended!

2025 Honda CR-V review
The CRV is a luxury mid size hatchback. Smooth riding, handles well in Michigan’s winter weather 🤒. Good miles per gallon. I do drive in economy mode. I am still getting used to the size after driving a Honda Odessy. Good overall view. No obvious blind spots. I wish it had a manual garage opener feature on on the Ex.

This is my first CX-5. I love it. Previously I drove a mazda tribute which was a 6 cylinder. I was reluctant to purchase a smaller vehicle with a smaller engine, but I’ve been pleased. My only negative comment is regarding the leg room in the back seat. It’s not great but workable for most average size adults.

I have bought/leased six cars through Bill's sage, thoughtful, and compassionate help. He always finds the best car for me. For my 2024 leased car, Bill recommended the new Buick Envista. I love my new Blue Buick Envista. It is a pleasure to drive and looks beautiful. Thank you Bill ! Recently a tire went flat due to having two big pieces of road metal debris embedded in it. I called the Arnold Chevrolet Buick service department and was able to bring my car in ASAP without a scheduled appointment. The tire was too damaged to be repaired, and I was able to get a new tire right away. In addition, the service advisor, Zacharie Medina, reminded me that my Envista was due for an oil change and regular service. He said he could have that service also done while I waited for the tire to be replaced. I did not have to make a future appointment. The wait was short as I sat in the pleasant, comfortable waiting room. All of the work was done perfectly. Arnold Chevrolet Buick is the only establishment I will ever use to buy and service my cars.
2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer review
This vehicle has one drawback that I am aware of. The back up camera is very poor. The images are not crystal clear. It is like looking at a television screen from the 50s. I had a Blazer 2019 and my screen was great. I cannot understand why my 2023 vehicle has a poor screen. I have contacted General Motors and have gotten nowhere with them. I find this poor visual screen to be a safety issue. Had I known the back up camera and screen were so poor, I would’ve never bought the car as much as I like everything else about it. The visual on the screen is even worse at night.

Service by advisor Jaime Gonzalez and team for 2023 X1 scheduled 20K work was attentive, timely and complete. Tires replacement was recommended with even 4mm wear (with 2 mm bald tire warning for follow up) and this appears to be driven by the dealership legal team, who previously and separately at their sibling dealership refused to mount my new owner-provided Tire Rack tires on my 2019 Mini Cooper, which I found to be aggravating and dissatisfying. Hoping to get 30-40K out of my current BMW OEM tires (for which Jaime provided a replacement quote) and to continued excellent service by BMW of Darien.
2023 BMW 760 review
I have had my 2023 M760i since new. Yes 147k is a lot to spend on a car but it’s a lot of car ! Novak Motors, still a hidden gem but…. Things have changed. My first time buying a car at Novak was an unexpected pleasure. Found them online claiming a no-hassle pricing policy. So, I went in and met with a sales associate named Laura. Told her I was looking for a Santa Fe. She said ‘we have eight of them. I found one I liked and we sat down with the car fax. I asked what they could do on the price and she said ‘nothing, that’s the price’. Well, I had already done my homework. Their cars seemed to be priced all at the lower end of the Kelley Blue Book range. Fair enough I thought. I asked if I could have my mechanic look at the car and she said ‘sure and if you find anything wrong, since the car was still under warranty, it would be taken to the dealer and fixed prior to the purchase’. With that said and done I came in to buy the car a few days later. Ok, here comes Amy the finance person. I’m ready for all the usual crap that you deal with at the dealership. But no, just a little paperwork and Amy had me out the door in about 30 minutes. So now let’s jump ahead about 5 years. Is Novak still a place to buy your car? Yes, but there are changes. Namely a man named Mike who is the sales manager. Now when I talked to a sales person they have to go to Mike. Then Mike comes to me. He’s a big guy and he’s playing that sales manager role we have all seen at dealerships. I asked him if he could do better on the price testing the waters. ‘I can come down $500’ he told me (so much for no haggle). Now I’ve already done my homework and Mike is being deceiving. The prices online were $500 lower than the sticker on the car. When I asked him about that he said ‘that they haven’t updated the stickers yet’. That was another lie. I had been in the showroom on and off for over a week and been looking at their website regularly. He also negotiated several times on what they would give me for my trade in. Telling me he was going to lose money when he sells it at auction. At the price he paid me he probably will. I’m sure in his mind he can offset the loss to corporate by claiming his sales numbers. I hope corporate isn’t that blind to his games. Now jumping ahead, I decided to buy the car and gave a deposit three days prior to month-end. Afterwards, Mike says to me that we need to close the deal by Saturday (last day of the month). I said ‘no problem assuming my credit union processes my loan, if not we can do it Monday’. With that he gave me attitude. I said Mike ‘I’ll do my best but either way I have given you a deposit and we have a signed binder’. His reply was ‘I don’t have to honor it and can pull out of the deal’. My response was ‘really Mike? What kind of dealership high pressure xxxxxxxx you pulling here?’ So here are the main changes at Novak: Mike Mike Mike Seems whoever brought in Mike has made a mistake. Mike has a past history of working at car dealership such as Ford from what he told me and has brought that atmosphere into Novak. Simply put, he’s a bully and likes to throw his obvious weight around. He walks and talks the crap that we’ve all have experienced at car dealerships. Prices of the cars are now about $1000 higher. Obviously, giving Mike room to drop the prices which clearly violates their no haggle policy. He purposely prices the stickers higher than the website and then claims he hasn’t updated his floor stock yet. Bottom line, would I go back to Novak again? Yes, I would. The cars Novak sells are clean, single-owner lease returns. Out of hundreds of lease returns, Fusion gets to selectively choose which ones to sell thru Novak. They are still under the manufacturer’s warranty. They are still within KBB but as I said because of Mike they are higher and you have to negotiate some. One of the main reasons I would still choose Novak for my next car is because of the finance staff of Amy and Frank. I hope Novak’s corporate office wakes up and gets rid of the dead weight that’s bringing them down, Mike.
2022 Jeep Gladiator review
My jeep gladiator is perfect for all my needs. Better gas mileage than my previous truck and also has a great 4wd system. I will probably keep this one a long time. Have taken several road trips and some light off road driving, it has been great for both.

2023 Hyundai SONATA review
Purchased a 2023 Hyundai Sonata SEL. The car had 27000 miles on it. It met my requirements for power, ride, comfort, and options. I've had it for about a month now and it is everything I was hoping to have in a good performing, comfortable, reliable car. I especially like the interior cabin space and the display screen, Nice big, clear backup camera, and the some of the options for driver assist are great including the variable cruise control, the blind spot warning alert, and the lane departure warning alert.

2020 Lincoln Aviator review
Well, first thing is first. This is a great American luxury suv, problem, just that. We Americans worry too much about things we don't need and forgo things we do and thus you have most American companies especially auto manufacturers. Charge a lot but receive very little in durability but ague that it's offered at least. Precisely why the Japanese and recently the German luxury manufacturers do it better. They are not just trying to make a xxxx load of money, they actually care that their products are what they are being hyped as and stand the test of time regardless of the deepness of their customers pockets. So does the Lincoln produce a great product, Yes and No and that's a problem in this class as their asking price. For $60+k the vehicle shouldn't have any negative reviews let alone quality issues. The American car makers are an unfortunate mixed bag and leave me always expecting more. Maybe the true intent after all, planned obsolescence. Non the less I'd recommend a good extended warranty because when things fail outside of warranty, most likely it will cost more then the vehicle in the 1st place.

2024 Jeep Wagoneer review
I love my new Wagoneer Series II in white with sea salt interior. It has a big punch from the twin turbos, the ride is like my Cadillac Deville. It raises and lowers it's own height based on speed and road conditions. My only complaint is that the seams on the trim at the two back windows don't seem to be sealed properly so the water after washing it continues to drip down leaving a calcium line down the vehicle. I'd would also love it if you could add more apps to the infotainment center. Overall I'd buy it again. I've had two Gukon XL Denalis and the amenities on the Wagoneer at a lower price point far surpasses the GM vehicles.

2025 Honda Ridgeline review
Love my Ridgeline! Bought the RTL+ with the HPD black tires. The interior is by far the biggest of the midsize trucks. Plus having 6 cyl/AWD is huge. Gets good mileage. I am averaging around 22mpg. Smooth rolling...like butter. Plus all the storage is such a game-changer. I tried the Frontier/Tacoma...they were decent but for the packaging, it was a no-brainer. The Taco was more than $10k for lower trim. The Ridgeline has premium leather and is just by far a better choice for me.

2021 Dodge Durango review
I researched a lot of 7-seater SUVs before deciding on a 1 year old Durango... we needed something that could haul our 5 kids and also double as a commuter car with good cargo space for my husband, who travels to construction job sites all over the place. We both love our RAM trucks (mine is the 2500 horse hauler), so Dodge was a natural choice for us, but we opted for the V6 model for better gas mileage than our Hemis. The Durango did not disappoint!! I've seen other reviews complaining about the power of the SXT... what do you honestly expect, people?! It's a 3-row SUV, a V6 simply can't put out the HP to move it like the Hellcat would (ohh, that one must be sweet!!). That being said, we're still pleased with the performance... which is impressive for a vehicle of this size. It still hauls @ss and handles like a dream, and we live on a ranch in the Rockies so good handling on mountain roads in all manner of nasty weather conditions is an absolute MUST for us. You can tell the Durango is modeled on the Challenger chassis so it's basically a race car of an SUV, even in the V6 model. Do yourself a favor and splurge on some d@mn good all-season tires like Michelin LTX for optimum performance in any road conditions. We've been very impressed with the fuel economy, it does well - even with my husband rallying up and down the mountain and dusting people left & right on his daily commute. Haha! That's one advantage over the V8 models, which guzzle gas as bad as our big RAM trucks. We even run it with the Eco Boost turned off, and often in Sport mode. One thing my husband's not fond of is the fact that there is only one special jack included... and no mounts for floor jacks or jack stands. A second jack from the dealer is almost $300. So husband spent some time in his metal shop to fab an adapter for a second scissor jack, so he could rotate tires and change the oil. It's a non issue if you take your car in for service, but if you're the type to wrench on your own vehicles, it's something to bear in mind. Interior design is nice... the only small beef I've got is the 2nd row seat backs fold down, but the whole seat doesn't fold up to more easily access the 3rd row. It's not an issue for our kids clambering over, but it could be awkward for an adult. So the little ones go in the back. Overall, we're really pleased with our Durango SXT - even for the base model, it's got enough whistles and bells to keep us happy, and an impressive performance to economy ratio. Definitely worth every penny of the purchase price, and it's a vehicle we'll keep for a very long time.

2019 Lincoln Continental review
The driver's seat is a bit uncomfortable. I had a hip replacement, and the spit seat is not comfortable. I don't take many long trips so it is okay around town. I liked the solid seat of our Mercury. We have had Lincoln's in the past and they were all very comfortable. We really like this car and plan to keep it a long time. We get 22 mph average and 28 on a trip. I like the memory for the seat setting, lumbar setting, and adjustable steering wheel. The "pick up" is the best we have had on any past cars.
