2019 Porsche Cayenne review
Porsche did a nice job on the Cayenne redesign. Car has great lines and the interior instrumentation/ Nav screen has great aesthetics. Best part is the power. It has great acceleration 0-60 in 4.2 seconds for the S. Finally Porsche holds it value if you take care of it.

Jodie is a great service advisor, and their mechanics are definitely improving... they just take FOREVER! They held my vehicle a week before it was looked at. So...it generally takes weeks to get your vehicle back from here. When you make an appointment, it's not an appointment for them to look at your vehicle that day, it's just an appointment for them to hold your vehicle for days before they do anything with it... leaving you without a vehicle. That needs to change. Otherwise, this is THE ONLY DEALERSHIP in the entire DFW metroplex that can actually fix a vehicle. I'm assuming that's why they are so busy. Overall, I got the vehicle back and repaired properly this time, so we are making tremendous progress.

2020 Porsche Cayenne review
Now that an initial manufacturing defect with my dashboard has been fixed and wood trim has been added, I really love my car. It is a palace on wheels and a truly amazing vehicle to behold. However, to get to this point, I've realized the following: 1) It's critical to find a quality Porsche dealership. While they do exist, they are few and far between. In my area, there is only one that I'd trust to do much more than a routine oil change. 2) Porsche as a manufacturer has a surprising disregard for both quality control and customer service. They expect their dealer network to resolve their shortcomings. 3) Pricing is not fixed or consistent for anything. Even parts and routine maintenance costs. You can save a lot of money by calling around and being informed.

I initially walked in late in the evening with no appointment with my 88 y/o Mom who I wanted to make sure she could get in and out of the MDX I had my eye on. Liz was kind enough to bring the MDX next to our car to see if Mom could get in and out with her walker. Liz was patient and friendly with my Mom and knew it was important to me to have her comfortable and safe. I made an appointment for the next day to properly test-drive various MDXs. Liz listened to my preferences and concerns then remembered a specific MDX they had on the lot, so she brought it over for me to see. She warned me as she wasn't sure if I'd like the interior color...I took one look and said “I love it” - Red Italian leather! The 3rd MDX we test drove was the charm! Next, I talked to the finance manager, Mandy Matanga. Mandy was friendly and fantastic to work with as she gave me the best deal to fit my budget. I asked for a price reduction- something would hv been nice? even if it was a ?lie? that the sales person got up to ask a higher up but he said no right away?I already knew it was priced well? however a psychological feeling of being heard and a taken my request seriyenough to take the energy to stand up and inquire - even it was for an apprareamce only ? would hv left me with a better feel than my request was very quickly shut down - especially me being a female... $50 off would hv left me heard and acknowledge ? but oh well?.

The overall experiance was good, there was a mechanical issue that was listed on the dealer acceptance inspection (leaking differential) that they did have repaired. The only issues I had were it was hard to catch up with my salesman on occasion, and they did not do a pre-sales detail on the car, I realize it was a used car but at 34,000 I did expect it to be clean when I got it, it wasn't.

CarMax Southwest Freeway review
I have visited this Carmax location several times over the years, but I?ve never actually bought from them. I appreciate their selection and no pressure process. If you prefer used cars like I do, it?s great to go to a Carmax and compare several makes and models in one place and get your trade appraised. This time around I worked with Harold Speights, who did a great job of finding the cars I was looking for. This is harder than it sounds - the cars don?t always get parked where they belong after a test drive, especially on a busy day, so he had to do a lot of walking around. We ended up unable to find the exact vehicles listed online, which is the reason this Carmax doesn?t get 5 stars. But Harold got me into the right things to try out. Once I narrowed down my interests after a few drives at a few different places, he texted me some stock numbers of cars at several Carmax locations with free transfers. I ended up preferring a different vehicle from a different dealer, but that?s not a knock on Carmax or Harold. Having the written appraisal in hand helped me get a better deal. If you are shopping for a used car, Carmax is a great place to go. Only thing I?d change is that Carmax could do a better job tracking where the vehicles are on the lot.
2022 Porsche Cayenne review
Turbo GT. Hard to believe it drives as well as my 911 through the mountains. Ride is better than advertised with the lowered ride and stiffer suspension. PTO color is flawless. It does not drive around corners…it deletes them
