2008 Scion xD review
I bought this car new in 2008 and still own it. I haven't had a single issue with it mechanically. It is made by Toyota and has a Toyota engine (same as Corolla) so it is a very reliable car. Mine is the release series, which has lowered springs and rides a bit rough, but that's to be somewhat expected in a small car. The interior is much more roomy than you'd expect. I can fit a 8 foot long 2x4's (or most 8 foot boards) in it. It literally goes from the hatch to the dash but it does fit. I added a sway bar which helped a lot. Handling is good, it's quick enough to get around in traffic, decent on gas. If you drive fast the mpg can get a little low. But under normal driving it doesn't do bad. Overall if you don't mind small cars this would be a great buy and should get you years of Toyota reliability.

Never did I ever think I'd be writing a review about what a pleasant experience I had buying a used car. But, that's exactly what's happening! Julio and Tasney (the owners) were a delight to meet and work with, and they made the entire process shockingly easy. The price of the car was very fair, and the purchase comes with a 3 month warranty. I found a minor issue with the interior of the car shortly after driving it home and I was able to bring it in the next day and have it repaired within minutes at no charge, even though this was not technically part of the warranty. Julio and Tasney are two of the rare individuals who actually follow the mantra "treat others as you'd like to be treated," and I'd happily buy from them in the future.
2012 Scion xD review
I love this car so much. It has more cup holders then I know what to do with. The back seat folds down so I can fit all my camping equipment. It drives good in the rain but wish it drove better in the snow. It took me a while to adjust to the odd body shape but I love this car

2014 Scion xD review
Currently own a 2014 xd and I love it. I leased it three years ago and when my lease was up I was so in love with the car I had to buy it out. Perhaps on the smaller side for some but perfect for young people, first time car owners, or anyone who wants great gas mileage in a compact package. It also does great in the snow with appropriate tires which was a big concern of mine living in Montana. The safety features and Bluetooth audio are great features to have. Kind of bummed Toyota stopped making these.

2011 Scion xD review
I love it's fit, form, and function. It feels like it has a big car interior with fuel economy of 30-33 mpg. I was surprised last Sunday when I found an additional storage bin to the left of the steering wheel. The only thing that it misses are automatic lights when the car is turned-on and outdoor temperature readings.

2012 Scion xD review
I bought my 2012 xD in 2019 with 72k miles. It's my third Scion after owning a 2006 xA and 2006 xB. This xD has a larger 1.8 liter engine from the Corolla which gives me more power than the my other Scions, but with a slight mileage penalty over those other cars. On a recent road trip to Dallas I averaged 38 mpg, while in town I typically get 28. Installed winter tires and had no problems trekking through our rough winter. The car still feels solid, no squeaks or rattles. Great deals can be had on the xD right now, they are one of the best kept secrets in the small car world!

2011 Scion xD review
If you want the super reliability of a Toyota, with a little less of the monotonous styling (while still being kind of monotone, the xD is the car for you. I started out leasing this car as a gift for graduating college. It is a great vehicle (when it was produced) for those who are just starting out and need a nice, and ridiculously reliable car to travel to work, get stuck in traffic in, and go on weekend trips in. It certainly isn't the most comfortable on longer trips (my wife and I used it to travel 250 miles from where we lived in Vermont back to our hometowns in New Jersey). The seats surfaces start to feel even harder after 5 of sitting (even with breaks). However, I've found the car to be incredibly versatile for how small it is. With back seats folded down, you can fit two large rolling luggage bags, two cat carriers, and multiple shopping bags with relative ease (and a resourceful person loading the car). The initial value for the money is great if you buy flat out (not a fan of leasing as I got a job a few states away soon after getting the car and started putting a lot of miles on it, screwing me in the end lease-wise). The xD is Toyota reliable. Never had any issues other than the regular maintenance costs. Overall a great buy when new and certainly a bargain when used.

I drove it mostly, & I liked it. My husband drove it one day& got T-Boned by another car. The Scion was impressive. He survived without life long injuries. Considering another Scion,but wondering if I would have problem s maintaining a discontinued model.????

2010 Scion xD review
Great used car. A little cramped for the driver. Wish the seat had adjustment for height. Otherwise I love the reliability and MPG (average combined 36-38 with a stick). Very practical and can haul a decent amount of gear. Bought mine in 2020 with 89K and now have 122k only needing snow tires for the New England winter.

2008 Scion xD review
My 2008 xD now has over 230,000 miles on it. Today marks the second time the check engine light has come on. It was a bad ignighter, and I think it's the same problem now. Tomorrow will tell.

3 hundred thousand miles on this car and just doing fine, take care of your car ...and your car will take care of you! it's never had one thing go wrong! ( just an unbelievable car) outside of comon Maintaince, like oil & filter changes, tires, battery, alternator, air filter, cabin filter, spark plugs. Even the bulbs are original and all working, it needs a paint job,-maybe.But I bet i get 5 hundred thousand miles out of this one! No wonder taxi cab company's use these kind of cars.(they are cheep to keep).(word to your mother. Ya Hear-!).

2008 Scion xD review
I bought this car brand new in 2008, manual transmission, and still own this car today. The car has 168,000 miles on it and has required some basic repairs, several ignition coils needed replacing, I've only changed the battery once. I had to replace the catalytic converter last year because I live in CA and failed a smog test. Beyond that, no issues whatsoever. In the 14 years I've owned the car I've probably put about $2000 into repairs not including tire replacements and oil changes. It's great for parallel parking too, just so easy to fit where most cars can't. Fun to zip around town in. Way roomier on the inside than what you'd expect from the outside. I've fit some crazy furniture in here thanks to the hatchback style. I absolutely love this car and hope to have it a few more years.

2009 Scion xD review
I have the 5 speed manual and am extremely happy with it. Super reliable never a single problem with it. If I had to nit-pick I'd say road noise maybe not the greatest above 65 mph. Great gas mileage. Seems to be built like a tank. Highly recommended....

2008 Scion xD review
ok on gas ( 25 to 32 ) local road some highway grocery and commuting. has 159k miles , everything works, tires are a pain . should be using 14 inch tires but 17 on a little car ???!!!!
