2008 Scion xD review
I bought this car brand new in 2008, manual transmission, and still own this car today. The car has 168,000 miles on it and has required some basic repairs, several ignition coils needed replacing, I've only changed the battery once. I had to replace the catalytic converter last year because I live in CA and failed a smog test. Beyond that, no issues whatsoever. In the 14 years I've owned the car I've probably put about $2000 into repairs not including tire replacements and oil changes. It's great for parallel parking too, just so easy to fit where most cars can't. Fun to zip around town in. Way roomier on the inside than what you'd expect from the outside. I've fit some crazy furniture in here thanks to the hatchback style. I absolutely love this car and hope to have it a few more years.

2013 Scion xD review
The little thing is GREAT. Its quiet. It has power. It's roomy has plenty of space. The stereo works great. The gas mileage is BETTER THAN AVERAGE. ITS WELL WORTH BUYING. The car is roomy, seats fold completely flat and will fold down one at a time or both them at the same time. Has 6 air bags. You have plenty room in the back to stretch your legs. You can pack this little car with a lot of stuff med small and some large items. You can put 5 foot long items on one side and up to 3 foot wide if shorter than 5 foot. Dependable reliable cost effective maintenance is average basic oil changes and filter filters and the other as right tranny service coolant blush is as it needed it is a excellent vehicle for its price

I love this car so much. It has more cup holders then I know what to do with. The back seat folds down so I can fit all my camping equipment. It drives good in the rain but wish it drove better in the snow. It took me a while to adjust to the odd body shape but I love this car

2014 Scion xD review
Currently own a 2014 xd and I love it. I leased it three years ago and when my lease was up I was so in love with the car I had to buy it out. Perhaps on the smaller side for some but perfect for young people, first time car owners, or anyone who wants great gas mileage in a compact package. It also does great in the snow with appropriate tires which was a big concern of mine living in Montana. The safety features and Bluetooth audio are great features to have. Kind of bummed Toyota stopped making these.

Great car for the money. You cant go wrong with a Toyota. This is hatchback with fold down rear seats. Lots of room. Great on gas. Low maintenance costs.

2012 Scion xD review
I bought my 2012 xD in 2019 with 72k miles. It's my third Scion after owning a 2006 xA and 2006 xB. This xD has a larger 1.8 liter engine from the Corolla which gives me more power than the my other Scions, but with a slight mileage penalty over those other cars. On a recent road trip to Dallas I averaged 38 mpg, while in town I typically get 28. Installed winter tires and had no problems trekking through our rough winter. The car still feels solid, no squeaks or rattles. Great deals can be had on the xD right now, they are one of the best kept secrets in the small car world!

3 hundred thousand miles on this car and just doing fine, take care of your car ...and your car will take care of you! it's never had one thing go wrong! ( just an unbelievable car) outside of comon Maintaince, like oil & filter changes, tires, battery, alternator, air filter, cabin filter, spark plugs. Even the bulbs are original and all working, it needs a paint job,-maybe.But I bet i get 5 hundred thousand miles out of this one! No wonder taxi cab company's use these kind of cars.(they are cheep to keep).(word to your mother. Ya Hear-!).

2011 Scion xD review
If you want the super reliability of a Toyota, with a little less of the monotonous styling (while still being kind of monotone, the xD is the car for you. I started out leasing this car as a gift for graduating college. It is a great vehicle (when it was produced) for those who are just starting out and need a nice, and ridiculously reliable car to travel to work, get stuck in traffic in, and go on weekend trips in. It certainly isn't the most comfortable on longer trips (my wife and I used it to travel 250 miles from where we lived in Vermont back to our hometowns in New Jersey). The seats surfaces start to feel even harder after 5 of sitting (even with breaks). However, I've found the car to be incredibly versatile for how small it is. With back seats folded down, you can fit two large rolling luggage bags, two cat carriers, and multiple shopping bags with relative ease (and a resourceful person loading the car). The initial value for the money is great if you buy flat out (not a fan of leasing as I got a job a few states away soon after getting the car and started putting a lot of miles on it, screwing me in the end lease-wise). The xD is Toyota reliable. Never had any issues other than the regular maintenance costs. Overall a great buy when new and certainly a bargain when used.

2010 Scion xD review
Great used car. A little cramped for the driver. Wish the seat had adjustment for height. Otherwise I love the reliability and MPG (average combined 36-38 with a stick). Very practical and can haul a decent amount of gear. Bought mine in 2020 with 89K and now have 122k only needing snow tires for the New England winter.

You can find the car you need if you look for quality, older, low cost, amazing transportation vehicles. They just don't carry ANY junk, to save you time!
2008 Scion xD review
I bought this car new in 2008 and still own it. I haven't had a single issue with it mechanically. It is made by Toyota and has a Toyota engine (same as Corolla) so it is a very reliable car. Mine is the release series, which has lowered springs and rides a bit rough, but that's to be somewhat expected in a small car. The interior is much more roomy than you'd expect. I can fit a 8 foot long 2x4's (or most 8 foot boards) in it. It literally goes from the hatch to the dash but it does fit. I added a sway bar which helped a lot. Handling is good, it's quick enough to get around in traffic, decent on gas. If you drive fast the mpg can get a little low. But under normal driving it doesn't do bad. Overall if you don't mind small cars this would be a great buy and should get you years of Toyota reliability.

2009 Scion xD review
I have the 5 speed manual and am extremely happy with it. Super reliable never a single problem with it. If I had to nit-pick I'd say road noise maybe not the greatest above 65 mph. Great gas mileage. Seems to be built like a tank. Highly recommended....

2013 Scion xD review
I bought new in 2013. Its a good reliable car. Its now 10 yrs old and I probably could get 10 More years. Very low maintenance. Just normal things like reg oil changes and tune ups. My only complaints are a rough ride. I suggest getting one size larger in tires. That helps with road noise. Its a tight fit up front. Not much elbow room with a passenger and seats are very hard . I suggest buying padded seat covers. Would I buy another ? Dont think so. I need more comfort
