Major Motor Cars review
Absolutely the best overall buying experience. Jason Yorker is not a "used car sales," rather a professional automotive concierge. He located that exact vehicle I was looking for, was patient with my questions, but especially negotiated a more than reasonable and fare offer. I can't say enough positive things about my experience from Rob Hassan (General Manager) to Jason Yorker. They all provided an excellent buying experience and attention to detail. From one who hates buying cars, these guys are outstanding and far exceeded my expectations.

2021 Honda Civic review
After buying Toyota vehicles for years, I found out that they were outsourcing their CVT’s and Honda was making their own CVT’s and after driving a new Toyota Corolla and then a new Honda Civic, I was more impressed with the Honda Civic. My three previous cars were Toyota Corolla’s and I loved them. I am very happy with my 2021 Honda Civic EX and I would not hesitate to recommend Honda.

I love this car! ‘26 Sedan Sport trim level is excellent as is the lower and higher trims. I traded in my 2014 Civic sedan Lx and got a great lease deal from the dealership. I got it in the new Blue Lagoon color which is an extra cost option(all paint colors should be standard)but it looks great with the black trim. Drives great, great mpg, reliable as a Honda should be. It’s like driving a mini Accord.

Honda of Downtown Los AngelesReviews
Honda of Downtown Los Angeles review
Five stars for Andy Cortez at Downtown Honda! Over the past couple of weeks, I've spoken with salespeople at approximately ten different Honda dealerships while searching for my next car. As a woman shopping alone, the car-buying process can be quite intimidating, and I've encountered a real range of attitudes and approaches along the way. Andy Cortez at Downtown Honda stood out by a mile from the very beginning. He was consistently kind, patient, responsive and genuinely helpful. He listened to what I wanted, respected my budget and worked incredibly hard to put together a competitive deal. He even came in on his day off to spend time helping me. Although I ultimately didn't purchase my vehicle from Downtown Honda - only because they didn’t have the particular color I was after - I wanted to leave this review because Andy deserves recognition for the exceptional service he provided. What impressed me most was that I never felt pressured, dismissed or talked down to. Andy made what can be a stressful experience feel comfortable, straightforward and even enjoyable. He's a credit to Downtown Honda, and I genuinely hope the dealership recognizes what an asset they have in him. If you're looking for a Honda, particularly if you dislike the process as much as I do, I couldn't recommend Andy Cortez more highly!

Honda of Downtown Los Angeles review
I recently purchased a car at Honda of Downtown Los Angeles, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Andy Gonzalez, the financial manager, and Steven Perez, the sales consultant, were absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. From the moment I walked in, Steven was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and attentive to my needs, ensuring I found the perfect car. Andy made the financial aspect smooth and stress-free, answering all my questions and explaining everything clearly. The level of professionalism, courtesy, and genuine care they both displayed made this the best car-buying experience I've ever had. If you're in the market for a car, I highly recommend visiting Honda of Downtown Los Angeles and working with Andy and Steven. They truly go above and beyond for their customers.

Whoever is reading this just know that South Bay Hyundai is super helpful and nice. Everyone is nice and they gave me a great deal!
2026 Honda Civic review
I commute 30 miles a day, but it doesn't feel like it in my '26 Civic Sport hybrid sedan. I drive twisty roads, inclines and the freeway, and the car handles 'em all like a champ. It has the comfort, smooth ride and acceleration of my previous 2018 Accord Sport with way better gas mileage (45-50 mpg). I also like the dash/instrument layout and easy-to-use infotainment system. So if you're like me, a cheapskate who also enjoys spirited, comfortable driving, the Civic may be the right car for you! (I personally prefer the sedan over the hatchback, but that's just me.)

This is my third Civic and I believe it is the best one yet. The 2 Liter engine is smooth and powerful. The cabin noise is low and its handling very sporty. All the new safety features, like lane watch, blind spot warnings and rear back up camera really work well. The air conditioning is stronger too. A pleasure to drive. I recommend the hatch back.

I want to thank Honda and my sales rep Amalia for a good, smooth and fast process . Compared to other times I've been in cardelearships, this was the fastest time as far as hours spent waiting for finance. I love that she had an appointment with finance for me to just go and sign and I was out right away. She was very caring and always on top of everything. Thank you Amalia and Honda!
2025 Honda Civic review
I traded in a 2017 Honda CR-V Touring because it was going to to cost more to fix the major issues (as a second owner I did not know the CR-V had that many things wrong). I put money down on the Civic Sport that I was going to use for the repairs. I do have to say it's a nice car and I hope it will last longer than I expect. That being said I didn't want to buy another Honda but I did go to a dealership that I trust more than anybody else. I will come back and further my review once I have 5,000 miles on it.

Looking for a Tesla and they had a model 3, only 3 months old. Freddy was very helpful from the beginning to the end. He made sure we were taken care of during the financial process, too. At the end he was there to give us our new card and left his phone number in case we needed anything later. Great job.

Test drove a cr-z, runs and handles great. Not the hatchback I'm looking for.
2023 Honda Accord review
Have owned the Touring version for 4 months and 2000 miles. Averaging a solid 45mpg on mixed roads. Even with the 19" wheels and tires I found this much quieter than the previous generation. Not a head turner, but I don't need that kind of attention any more. Biggest downside is no seat height adjustment for front passenger. Biggest plusses include very stable at all speeds, feels well planted, huge back seat and trunk, very good infotainment, and the Bose system is very good for most. Very comfortable for my 6' frame. It's no race car, but it is actually fun to drive. And that comes from someone that previously owned a 2019 Acura RDX. Except for a little engine noise at low speeds, transition from electric to gas is seamless.

2025 Honda Accord Hybrid review
Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L Review (1,500 miles) After careful research, I purchased a Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L and have now put just over 1,500 miles on it. As a tough critic, I’d give the car an overall 9/10, with many aspects deserving 4.5/5 stars. What I Like: The Accord feels exceptionally well-refined, handsome inside and out, and surprisingly high-quality. The dashboard and infotainment system are straightforward, responsive, and user-friendly. Controls are logically placed, voice commands and hands-free calling work reliably, and call quality is excellent on both ends. I especially love the regenerative braking paddles on the steering wheel. They keep me engaged while driving (especially in the city), help recharge the battery, and reduce wear on the brake pads. The driving experience is a highlight — the car feels agile and nimble in traffic, with competent acceleration, steering, and braking. It simply feels well-engineered and enjoyable to drive. On cold Michigan mornings, the vehicle warms up quickly, the windshield defrosts fast, and the cabin reaches a comfortable temperature within about five minutes of remote start. The three-level seat heaters are effective and useful for maintaining comfort without running the heater constantly. What I Don’t Like: Headlights: While the low and high beams provide good visibility, the automatic high-beam system is finicky. It sometimes stays on too long when oncoming traffic approaches, unlike the flawless system in my previous 2018 F-150. Seat Comfort & Space: For my daily 70-mile commute, the seats are adequate. As a 6’0”, 250 lb driver, I have plenty of headroom and the car comfortably fits five adults. However, I suspect the seats may not be plush enough for longer trips, and I wish there was a bit more legroom. Fuel Economy: This is my biggest disappointment so far. I drive about 85% highway miles. In cold weather (low 40s°F). I’ve been struggling to break 38–39 mpg, with occasional warmer drives reaching 42–43 mpg. I was hoping for closer to the advertised 48 mpg combined, even in winter, and expect improvement as temperatures rise. Data Privacy: I discovered after purchase that Honda and Google are collecting significant driving and vehicle data with limited options to control or limit what is shared with them and third parties. Overall Verdict: The Accord Hybrid EX-L is a refined, comfortable, and enjoyable daily driver with excellent build quality and thoughtful features. Minor frustrations with the auto high-beams, seat comfort for long trips, and lower-than-expected MPG in cold weather keep it from a perfect score. Still, I’d highly recommend it for most buyers, especially once warmer weather returns and fuel economy improves.

Great dealership, I personally recommend Veronica and Alejandra. They helped me in every way possible better than any other dealership ever has. Thank you for helping me get my first big purchase!
2026 Honda Civic review
Positive Points Exceptional Fuel Efficiency: The hybrid powertrain delivers outstanding gas mileage, registering highly competitive figures for city and highway driving without the need to plug in.Engaging Handling: The car offers a dynamic and fun-to-drive experience, featuring sharp steering, a stable suspension, and excellent road grip.Spacious Cabin and Cargo: The interior provides ample room for passengers, and the trunk capacity—especially in the hatchback configuration—ensures high practicality for daily use.Solid Reliability and Safety: It maintains Honda's strong reputation for durability, backed by high crash-test ratings and a comprehensive suite of standard active safety systems.Intuitive Technology: The dashboard features a responsive, easy-to-use infotainment system paired with high-quality, tactile physical buttons for essential climate and audio controls.Negative Points Intrusive Cabin Noise: Wind and road noise are noticeably loud inside the cabin, particularly at highway speeds or when equipped with factory sports tires.Premium Pricing: The initial cost is noticeably higher than many of its direct competitors in the compact sedan and hatchback segment.Underpowered Base Powertrain: The standard non-hybrid engine feels slow, and the continuously variable transmission (CVT) can deliver a dull, uninspiring acceleration experience.Missing Basic Amenities: It lacks a physical spare tire—providing only a fix-a-flat repair kit—and lower trim levels are missing standard features expected at this price point.Stiff Seating on Long Drives: The front seats are firm and lack proper lumbar support, which can lead to physical discomfort during extended trips.

I highly recommend servicing your Hyundai car here. They are attentive, honest and reliable. I have driven a Hyundai for 22 years now and this is the best service department I have ever dealt with. Now with that said, a big flaw is not offering loaner cars. I don't have access to another car and every time my car has had a major issue, I have had to sit at the dealership for hours because there is nothing I can do. Renting a car last minute is usually not feasible or available. I am currently looking at getting a new car sometime this year. While I have been very happy with Hyundai, not offering loaner cars is a big factor in my decision in what car I end up buying.

A Remarkable Turnaround in Customer Service at Harbor Hyundai In 2024, I visited Harbor Hyundai looking to purchase or lease my first EV. Unfortunately, the experience was absolutely horrible. I even wrote a review detailing the uncomfortable and unprofessional interactions I experienced. As a Long Beach resident, I had specifically chosen this dealership because I wanted to support a local business. Instead, I found myself being shuffled between three different salespeople, each interaction leaving me with an increasingly negative impression. Ultimately, I walked out before completing a deal and purchased my vehicle from another Hyundai dealership, where the professionalism and customer service were far better. With my 2024 lease nearing its end, I decided to give Harbor Hyundai another chance and reach out a few weeks before my lease expired. This time, I connected with Alfredo and Mustafa, and the experience was completely different from the start. Both made me feel that they genuinely cared about my needs and took the time to listen. Mustafa followed up regularly to arrange an in-person meeting, but my busy schedule made it difficult to respond as promptly as I would have liked. Then, around 8:30 p.m., I received a call from Alfredo. Rather than jumping straight into a sales pitch, he took the time to build rapport and establish a genuine connection. He confirmed exactly what I was looking for and explained that the vehicle I wanted was not currently at his location. He then asked whether, if he could put together a deal that met my needs, I would be willing to come in the following afternoon to pick up the vehicle. Alfredo and I reached an agreement, and he went above and beyond to make sure the vehicle would be on-site for my 3:30 p.m. appointment the next day. My wife, daughter, and I arrived about 15 minutes early. Alfredo came out to the parking lot to greet us personally. He welcomed me with a handshake and made a point of greeting my wife and daughter before inviting us inside to finalize the details. That small gesture spoke volumes about his professionalism and genuine approach to customer service. Once we confirmed the terms of our deal, Mustafa stepped in to collect a few final details. Within about 10 minutes, we were seated with David in Finance. What followed was, without question, the smoothest and most straightforward auto financing experience I have ever had. David reconfirmed the terms of our agreement and went a step further by speaking with my wife and daughter in Korean, helping our family feel even more comfortable throughout the process. He was exceptionally professional, personable, and efficient. He completed the paperwork in under seven minutes, and in less than 30 minutes from the time we arrived, we were driving away in our new Ioniq 5 in Ecotronic Matte Gray. Having dealt with car dealerships for several decades, I have experienced just about every kind of sales and financing interaction imaginable. I can confidently say that Alfredo, Mustafa, and David delivered a truly world-class customer experience. They were attentive, respectful, transparent, and focused on making the process easy for our family. Most importantly, they made me reconsider a dealership I had previously vowed not to return to. When this lease ends in 2028, I will absolutely be looking for Alfredo, Mustafa, and David to work with me again. Harbor Hyundai, you have three exceptional, customer-focused professionals on your team who deserve to be recognized. Alfredo, Mustafa, and David turned what had once been a disappointing experience into one of the best dealership experiences of my life. They have earned my trust, my business, and my recommendation. Thank you for giving me a reason to support my local dealership after all.

Nissan of Alhambra review
Some months ago, my showroom-quality 2011 Leaf was totaled by an SR-22 driver. I had begun to despair of ever finding a replacement after looking at 100s of cars in my area, My rental bill was piling up, nothing at all close to what I had lost, was available. A friend of a friend recommended Bobby Morales at Nissan of Alhambra. In two days I had another showroom-quality car, delivered to me, AT MY HOME, by Ottavio. They couldn't have been fairer or kinder. They restored my faith in basic human decency...Bravo!!! I am definitely a fan. They exceeded my expectations.
2025 Nissan Sentra review
Marcus and Sal are two of the best people in the business. Sal will tried to get me into a Nissan Sentra but I was too under water on my Nissan. But I recommend the dealer whole heartedly. All at the dealership are fantastic people.

CarMax Renton review
I hate the back-and-forth of buying a car. There is none of that at Carmax. Prices are not negotiable but since you know how much a particular car is, you can shop around. I found the car I wanted was priced right compared to KBB and other listings with private and dealer sales. After I decided to purchase the car, I was out of there within 1 hour.
2020 Lexus LS 500 review
This car is amazing. Fully loaded. Comfortable ride.416 horse power twin turbos deliver plenty of power if needed. The only thing I would change is the Run Flat tires. The ride is just a little to hard with Run Flats. Everything else perfect. AWD is also a plus. My ES350 did not have it.

The response time was really fast, I had received an email back within an hour. I was actually surprised how quick they had contacted me about my inquiry and I would recommend them to a friend
2016 Honda Accord review
I did some serious research and decided a Honda Accord Coupe built from 2015 to 2020 with the big V6 was a great car to buy used if I could find one with low enough mileage. I found one in Florida using Carvana that only had 29,600 miles on it. It helped that the car also has about all the neat accessories Honda put on 2016 high end Accords. The car is pretty and quick and comfortable. Three important boxes get checked out front. I love the car.
