2023 Kia Telluride review
This is followup to Tucker Dawg prior review. As noted the 2023 Tellurides came without a tow hitch or harness and none ever became available due recall issue on 2020 -2022 models. My dealership was able to retro fit 2022 hitch, then they paid to have an aftermarket electrical harness installed. And now I pull a 22 foot airstream camper ( 3800# weight ) and it works great! All in all very happy with car after 3 years and 26,000 miles. But if buy used, do be aware KIA never offered a factory hitch or harness.

2021 Honda Accord review
Purchased car from a senior relative in Florida whose lease was up, with 17K miles. Love the car and tech. Did you know that there is a “Developers Mode”, which will give you access to many more options and adjustments. Highly recommend researching and gaining easy access for a true customized Honda experience. Just “Google” it. This car is fast and the 2.0T is refined. The ride is comfortable even with the 19” tires. My only “nit” is the leather seats can be more comfortable and supportive. I own both Honda and Toyota/Lexus. Both cars are great, but have distinctly different driving characteristics. Highly recommend!!

2021 Toyota Highlander review
My 2021 highlander L I paid $27k @ 44k miles ih for it after 2 years taking it through ell & adding 50k miles (92k miles currently) im impressed by its 300 hp 3.4L engine but learned how important changing all fluild begor it starts to making noise and problems. I think as long as you change all fluids at by or before 90 k miles as milage it will continue to goFor 300,000 miles crossed finger . The dealer offered me 19k to trade in at this stage. I recently had the pleasure of working with Brandon in service at Herb Chambers Jaguar, and I can't recommend him highly enough! After purchasing a vehicle through online, I found myself in a bit of a predicament when an issue arose with my car. The hassle of dealing with a third-party warranty was already daunting, but when I discovered that the warranty online car service claimed was valid had actually expired, I felt overwhelmed. They just use carfax for their data. However, my experience at Herb Chambers Jaguar completely turned that around. Brandon and the team were incredibly professional and understanding. The dealership's manager went above and beyond, allowing for a diagnostic despite the warranty situation, which truly eased my worries. When the coolant light indicator came on, I knew I had to address it immediately, and I'm so glad I went to Jaguar. Although I was frustrated to learn the warranty was exhausted, I appreciated the team’s diligence in checking the vehicle's status. They even noticed that a prepaid service was due and completed it for me without a hitch. This attention to detail and commitment to customer service was truly impressive. I ultimately decided against going through the hassle of resolving the warranty situation with the third party warranty that the online car service offers, as I plan to return the car to the online car service to swap out for another car. Yet, throughout this entire process, the staff at Herb Chambers Jaguar maintained professionalism and knowledge about their products and services, making it clear that they genuinely care about their customers. If you're looking for a dealership that knows the ins and outs of their business and has a great team, look no further than Herb Chambers Jaguar. 2019 BMW X7 review
This BMW is the most luxurious car for a full sized SUV. BMW has really beaten the competition with the X7. The car drives so smooth but you don’t feel like it’s a very large suv. My wife was extremely impressed with how easy it was to drive! The whole car is so well made and I’ve loved having it. The infotainment system is beyond any car in its class. Great job BMW!

2012 Chevrolet Cruze review
The plastic plate across the front of the car comes off and have had to replace it once and now can't afford to put a new one back on!!!! The car has less then 40,000 not bad for 2012 when I bought with 139 miles...LOL! Breaks need to be replaced and the interior of the car needs deep cleaning. I love my Cruze man!!!

2015 BMW 320 review
I am biased because it’s my first car, but I’d say this is one of the best first cars you can own! performance wise the card does not come with much horsepower but if you can combined a tune and other components, you can get this car up to over 250 hp making a very fun car to drive! In my opinion, it’s the best sounding four-cylinder with an exhaust! I wish it had backup cameras, Apple CarPlay, andother features that newer cars has have but I really love this car

2023 Volkswagen Atlas review
I have a 2019 Atlas. This car is amazing and mind you I can't kill it. My car has 188,000 miles on it. The drive is smooth and very reliable. It has the room to fit all 5 of my kiddos perfectly and enough room in the trunk to even fit a wonderfold wagon with all the seats up. 2017 Ford Escape review
This vehicle has been awesome from the day I first started driving it. Great on gas, engine is very responsive and reliable. A/C is very cold and the starts so nicely every time. I love the Metris Cargo Van. Great on gas and tons of room in cargo area. You only need a 5' 8" clearance so you can park in a garage or parking garage like in high rise buildings. It's a smooth ride, functional and looks cool.

2016 Toyota RAV4 review
We absolutely love our Rav 4! In fact, we’re planning on buying another one soon! Best vehicle we’ve ever owned except for the dealership we bought it from. We’re definitely buying from another dealership when we buy a new one. This one was used with pretty low miles but the dealership treated us horribly. The radio and entertainment system broke the first week after we bought it and the brakes started squealing. Also the tires they put on were the cheapest tires on the market so it’s not as good in the snow as it could be if it had good tires on it. Otherwise, it’s a phenomenal vehicle. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy one. We absolutely love it!!!

2026 Chevrolet Traverse review
Bought this to replace a vehicle I had owned for 15 years and I will say that catching up with the technology has been interesting. I wanted the off road capabilities and have not yet (at 2500 miles) had a lot of opportunity to see what it will do in mild off road situations but so far am impressed with performance so far. Ride is very good, typical GM stuff, seats maybe could be a little nicer, I am 75 years old and while this is a nice ride (longest trip from Michigan to Tennessee so far) it is comfortable but seems like it could a little more comfy, GM always wants to put you in that next up category. Surprised at the power of a four cylinder 2.5 L engine, that thing can turn the tires over if you are not careful. Overall I am very satisfied with this vehicle after four months of ownership and would recommend it, no problems, no surprises, oh, and really like the Google maps and large screen. Looking forward to my next road trip with this vehicle, its a nice ride. I might say too that I have owned a full size truck (Avalanche) before and prefer a predominantly front wheel drive vehicle so that was something that influenced this purchase decision.

2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer review
This vehicle has one drawback that I am aware of. The back up camera is very poor. The images are not crystal clear. It is like looking at a television screen from the 50s. I had a Blazer 2019 and my screen was great. I cannot understand why my 2023 vehicle has a poor screen. I have contacted General Motors and have gotten nowhere with them. I find this poor visual screen to be a safety issue. Had I known the back up camera and screen were so poor, I would’ve never bought the car as much as I like everything else about it. The visual on the screen is even worse at night.

2025 Honda Pilot review
I think this is the best looking exterior of the mid size SUV mix. The interior is great, but the 9in screen is dated (updated for 26) and the cabin is a little noisy on the highway (also updated for 26 but I haven’t driven one to test it). The quality of the rear review and forward cameras is pretty good but not the crispest I’ve seen. I have the Black Edition which does a good job of reducing the plastic in the interior. I think lower trims are a bit plastic heavy. Seats are comfy, lots of space for kids and I like the removable bench for captains chairs with the option to have the bench if you need it. For a road trip, I have put 3 car seats in a row 2nd row bench to leave 3rd row flipped down for more cargo. Would not recommend that daily though. If you need 3 in one row daily you want to consider a full size but I’m just fine with 2 kids in captains chairs 2nd row and 1 in 3rd with the other half of the bench flipped down for cargo (which is sufficient for a stroller). I think that’s enough for most people. Performance is fine but nothing exciting. You don’t have the power of say an Explorer xx although I’m not sure you actually need that. Perfectly fine as a daily driver and I switch to sport mode when merging in on the highway. Reliability is top notch - routine service and you can trust you won’t need much more. Hoping to keep this 8-10 yrs and I don’t anticipate a problem. I use the dealership, but any shop should be able to work on a Honda Pilot without a problem.

2023 Ford Ranger review
The Ranger is a great light duty pickup for urban use. The 4-cyl 2.3L Turbo engine is plenty strong and gets great MPG at highway speeds. Around town I get right at 20 MPG, but at highway speeds it is closer to 28 MPG. It also tows my 3,000 lb boat with ease and gets 1 5 - 18 MPG while doing so. I would have liked a 6' bed, but Ford right-sized this vehicle for those that don't need a full-sized pickup.

2025 Mazda CX-50 review
I am very happy with my purchase. I already owned a 2018 CX-5 and it never gave me any problems so I had no qualms about purchasing another Mazda. I went with the CX-50 Turbo Premium Plus for the horsepower and the extra perks (i.e. automatic folding mirrors, and I like that the side mirrors also turn down to see the curb when parking, front AND rear cameras, panoramic sun/moonroof, speed display in windshield, heated and ventilated cooling seats, and a 12-speaker Bose Stereo system). I love the extra power of the Turbocharged engine that my CX-5 doesn't have. The things I don't care for: 1) the retractable cargo cover (a $250 addl charge) doesn't attack to the lift (like my CX-5 does. It's much more convenient if it's attached so there's no pulling it out each time you need to put something in the trunk; 2) I don't like that I have to turn off the automatic shut off of the engine at stops and that I have to turn it off every time I get in the car. I'd like there to be an option to turn it off indefinitely unless and until I want to turn it on; 3) I would also love it if the driver and front passenger seats raised a bit higher. I'm not short but I would feel more comfortable if the seat height lifted another couple of inches. Overall, I really love my car. The steering is tight and the ride is more comfortable than I expected, and the inside of the cab is quiet and the stereo is premium. The seats are attractive with the light colored stitching to accent the seats. Because of all the features in my model, I got a lot of bang for my buck as opposed to a more expensive car costing $20K more for all the same features with Mazda reliability as well as more reasonable/affordable maintenance costs. I had a BMW several years ago and, once out of warranty, the maintenance is ridiculously costly. Additionally, the service department at the dealership where I purchased my car is top notch and the transparency for maintenance is appreciated! In the last 7 years of owning a Mazda, I have never had a bad experience.

2023 Honda Civic review
After changing jobs and having to drive 100 miles round trip, I decided to buy the 2023 Honda Civic, I think it was the best decision of my life, not only does it save me a lot of gas but it looks spectacular on the outside and not to mention The interior is simply perfect with a lot of space, like any criticism there are negative points such as the sound system which in my opinion lacks power to be able to listen to your favorite songs at full volume, another point that I would like to highlight is that it lacks entry to the car without having to use your remote control even my 2011 grand cherokee has it, in a general perspective it seems like a good car for price, safety and appearance, it has been my first honda and I think I will continue with the tradition of continuing to buy this model for a long time

I have had a very positive experience so far. I had some small issues but nothing major. They were fixed fairly quickly by the dealer. The mileage does drop drastically in the winter, but I knew that before purchasing it. It is roomy inside, and drives great.

2021 GMC Canyon review
I have loved and owned Chevy and GMC midsized trucks since 98 when I purchased a used S-10. My latest purchase is a 2021 GMC Canyon Denali bought brand new. It's been a great truck until my power steering unit went out due to corrosion. It only has 32,200 miles on it and I have never gotten it wet other than car washes and driving in the rain which is normal conditions. I had purchased a mid grade extended warranty through GMC after my lease was up and purchased the truck. I am being told this is NOT covered due to it being external wiring. So I feel this is a manufacturing malfunction and bad engineering for water to be able to get in to cause such corrosion so beware. This is an open case filed with GM currently to hopefully rectify the matter.

2020 Honda Pilot review
Waited to give an honest review. 4 years later, I know have 109,000 miles on my 2020 Pilot Tour. The bad: It developed the known crackle sound coming from the speakers. This was fixed under warranty twice. The second time not coming back and has been fine. The looks are "meh". My wife's Nissan of similar trim level has a far nicer interior and much fancier seats. On curves the "warning" light flashes on my dash and the steering wheel shakes sometimes if a car is coming from the other direction. It's annoying, but I hear a problem for many manufacturers with these safety features, not just Honda. The Good: I consider my Pilot practical. It does everything well, just not flashy. My previous car was a 2012 Honda Pilot that I put 190,000 trouble free miles on. This Pilot with an updated transmission feels MUCH quicker. It is much easier to drive. It handles well, averages around 24 mpg on my commute (non expressway), and has been trouble free outside of the speaker issue. It hauls the family well, with lots of room, especially if the 3rd row is not used. I put on the dealer installed trans cooler and trailer hitch to tow a couple of waverunners, which it hauls easily. If you can get past the "ok" styling, it is a car that does everything well and my reliability has been very, very good so far.

2021 Honda Accord review

2022 Chevrolet Colorado review
I have a gas ZR2 in blue, and it is my dream truck. The build quality is so good on these! The doors shut with a solid thud, the intuitiveness of the interior...it was the best truck available in 2022. I got mine before the '23 models and I am so very glad I did. I looked at all available mid-sized trucks, Jeeps, Tacos, Nissan, etc...none felt as solid as the ZR2. Almost two years now, and coming up on 25k. Oil changes and had the tires balanced, did all of the fluids at 5k. You have to allow for Chevy Quirkiness, and you'll love it. The A/C can be weird.

2023 Honda Pilot review
I purchased a 2023 Hilda Pilot from the Honda dealership on South Boulevard in Charlotte. I was treated like family from the moment that I arrived up until the moment that I drove off in my new vehicle. First time I went in, was just looking to see what was on the lot and was greeted, and after that, not another contact with anyone. When I came back to test drive a few vehicles, got a great sales guy. Overall selection of vehicles is quite nice, and most of the vehicles are almost new to very good condition. Though Carmax likes to display the image they sell cars that have or haven't had any issues, you'll find you'll need to look closer. Most are bought at auction after coming off lease or from being a fleet vehicle. Which is a good thing, as you the regular maintenance was done on them and often the vehicles have original warranties still in effect depending on what vehicle you are looking for and what year. The sales guy was low pressure, and when I came in the next day to buy, I was given another one since he was completing a sale on another customer. Wasn't an issue, as he or the guy that took over were truly "car" guys. The liked cars, had sales experience, but weren't "car" guys. The experience was good overall, but the highlight was completing the deal. Paperwork was done quickly (I had preapproval from my credit union with EFT) and finished the paperwork in about twenty minutes. Amazing, got the vehicle at just an average price, but go the mileage I wanted, with original warranty and extended warranty at the price I was willing to pay. SO overall, win for me, and though I was never a Carmax fan (still rubs me the wrong way their colors are almost best buy colors when their parent company was circuit city....). But I will say my mind was changed.
2014 Mazda Mazda6 review
Great car for everyday use that doesn't break the bank. I get under 6.5 liters per 100 kilometers after religiously monitoring fuel consumption for almost 50,000 kilometers. For a 2.0 gasoline engine, that's quite an achievement. The car also proved to be reliable on long trips, offering plenty of luggage space and a comfortable ride. The only annoying thing is the interior noise when driving on the highway.
