Good price if you are a negotiator; great winter driving; nice space, roomy; stylish; good safety record; if you drive the original tangerine you'll get lots of questions & compliments
I worked with Jan from Carvana- she was able to explain to me the process, make sure I was comfortable with where it was at, was able to be reached and kept communication open. The pick up process went smoothly and I was able to sell my car without any glitches.
Cheap interior -felt paper for carpets

No storage compartments in rear. “Felt” paper for carpets. No CD player. Not what I wanted for the money. Value not there. Do not recommend.
After visiting several of the typical dealerships I walked away confused and Unsatisfied. After visiting Carvana.com I picked out a vehicle to my liking and price point fill out the paperwork got approval I had my new vehicle delivered to my front door. Most typical dealerships you spend half a day walking away with an overpriced vehicle in an overpriced interest-rate. I have owned my 2018 Crosstrek for 7 months and I still love it as much as the day I drove it off the lot. Excellent fuel economy for the weight and drivetrain. Fun to drive with fantastic steering response. It is a bit underpowered for my liking but it does have the torque for highway passing. The cargo area is spacious and the rear seats fold completely flat which is great for hauling. After test driving and researching several vehicles in this market segment, this was the best “bang for the buck”. I strongly recommend this vehicle.
Len was very pleasant and professional I am glad we decided to purchases a car from Doyle's . I would definitely recommend to family and friends!!

I’ve had it almost a month and love it so far. I really enjoy the versatility, but the ride and overall driving experience is really nice. I was impressed with the visibility - one of my biggest concerns about changing from a sedan to SUV. Even my wife loves it, and she hates everything at first.
I've been taking my Chevy vehicles to the Doyle Chevrolet service department for years and have always been treated with awesome customer service. So when the time came to purchase a new vehicle I did my research and decided to look into the Chevy Traverse. I stopped by randomly on a Saturday afternoon and met Phil Kunzer. He took the time to show my wife and I a few Traverse's on their lot, demonstrating and explaining all the features. We explained we just started the process and needed time to do our own research on various vehicles. Phil has been in the car industry for decades, but he's not the cliche car salesman. He allows you the time to go through the process at your own pace unlike other salesmen who try to close you within a few minutes. This was so refreshing. My wife and I researched and test drove the Explorer XLT the following week while staying in touch with Phil. He was very responsive to our emails and when I mentioned we wanted to come back for a test drive he had everything ready upon our arrival. I mean everything, he literally just handed us the keys as we walked in. This was completely different than my experience with other dealerships where I made appointments and ended up sitting around waiting for assistance. When we returned from our test drive my wife and I knew the Traverse was the vehicle for us. Phil was still a consummate professional, taking the time to go through different quotes and making sure we understood each detail. I admit, I never liked purchasing vehicles as I feel car salesmen are all the same, i.e. quantity over quality. However, Phil made us feel like a valued customer and treated us with patience and respect from beginning to the end. I would highly recommend Phil and the Doyle Chevrolet team if you're in the search for a new vehicle.

Had limited 2017Crosstrek unfortunately badly rear ended by plumber contractor's van. Survived crash. Eyesight and AWD was great, loved higher clearance and visibility around. It was best choice for the money, tried Honda, Toyota, Mazda counterparts - they are good vehicles but Subaru was better for me.
Everything was excellent from start to finish, Matt was great to work, as was Bryan. Highly recommend Van Bortel to anyone looking for a car. Will definitely be back!

Ever since I laid my eyes on the Crosstrek I have wanted one. They are a practical car with smooth styling. My wife and have taken my Crosstrek camping and on little trips and it always performs awesome.
Len Ciotti at Doyle Subaru helped me in navigating the purchase of a 2018 Subaru Forester. As we all know, choosing to buy a new or used vehicle is a big deal. Len answered all my questions (and I asked a lot!), was calm and patient, a very experienced car salesman. The financing was easy, an excellent all around car buying experience. Trouble free transportation in a nice looking all around good car.
Clean oil and filters and a full tank of gas and you are good to go.
Went for a 30 minute oil change. The person who checked the car in gave me a tan ticket and said I was all set. I walked through the door and looked left and right and the girl behind the counter said the waiting room is to the right. I go and get comfortable and an hour goes by and I’m thinking it’s unusual for an oil change to take this long. After 1 1/2 hours I go to the desk and ask why it’s taking so long and the young man tells me my car is not in the computer. He told me I was supposed to check in at the desk. Well, the person who checked my car in did not tell me that. He told me I was all set!!! I was very upset. The young man behind the counter was so patient as I was not. He wanted to reschedule and I couldn’t as I was leaving the country on Monday. His next solution was to give me a rental so I could do my errands and they would get to my car after the tech got back from lunch LOL. I was ok with that. So 2 hours after arriving,I had a car, not mine, and set off to do my errands. It was about 1 1/2 hours after that when I got called my car was ready. While the screw up was up front, the service I received after the error was discovered was top notch. The young man taking care of the situation was as calm as a cucumber and I was not. He was awesome and should be congratulated for making a messed up situation work. This was the first messed up appointment I’ve every had at a Subaru dealer so overall you do do a great job!

Fun to drive. Turns heads. Many compliments. Very reliable and economical to own. Sporty and just a bit rugged as well! Never any problems. Just gas and oil! Subaru boxer engines run forever.
I've been going to Van Bortel Subaru for nine years and they've taken great care of my Forester. I've never bought the same car or from the same dealer before, but this place is making me reconsider that.

Great car for anyone who wants dependability, great performance, comfort, necessary amenities and darn good gas mileage. There are only 2 minor features I would change about this car if I could. Great value and I would not hesitate to purchase another one tomorrow!
Even though I didn't leave with a car this was one of the best experiences I had car shopping! enjoyed car shopping. will be one of my first stops once I get a little more money!

I absolutely love the 2016 Ford Fiesta I purchased from Doyle Subaru. This is the first car I've purchased, and my salesman Len Ciotti was fantastic! He was low pressure and made me feel at ease during the whole process. One of the electronic keys was damaged and he even arranged for a replacement to be made.
Shortly after taking my car home, I had an issue with a sensor in the hood. I called to make an appointment to bring it in and the service has continued to be amazing. They provided me with a beautiful 2018 Cruze as a loaner car, and even arranged for my car to go to a Ford dealership since it was a warranty issue. Tim in service has been great and kept me updated every step of the way, making what would typically be a stressful situation extraordinarily easy. Hands down, working with Doyle has been a pleasure!
Great car for the money

I bought this car after a very snowy winter in the Northeast. It's my first SUV and I am very happy with it. The visibility and clearance is excellent and all wheel drive is a plus. I have to admit that the style was also a major factor as this is a very cool looking car. On the downside, the power is a bit underwhelming. I don't have a problem merging on a highway but the pickup is a little slow.
I bought my first Subaru at Van Bortel in 1998 and had it serviced there regularly. Except for some growing pains early on (minor issues such as long waits for appointments and for paperwork after repairs were completed) when it because the largest Subaru dealer in the U.S., service has always been both competent and efficient . I have never had to take anything back. The buying experience in 1998 was excellent as well. When I bought my second Subaru, VanBortel did not have the car I wanted in stock and it would have taken too long to order one, so I bought from another dealer who had the exact model I wanted just come off the truck. I felt guilty about this, but I still brought the car to Van Bortel for nearly all of its service. (Service at the other dealer under warranty had proven to be disappointing.) More recently, I began a long process of looking for a new car. I typically keep a car for 9 - 10 years and so I spend a great deal of time on research before buying. I worked with Vince Bovenzi who spent all of the time I needed helping me to evaluate the choices and allowing me unlimited time to drive the cars. I have not bought yet, but I plan to do so soon.

If you venture into the great outdoors this car is for you!! Subaru AWD will get you in and most importantly get you out of most places! You will love this car!
I'm on the road endlessly every day around New York state, driving any and every brand of rental car brands every day. When my turn signal bulb went out mid road trip, I stopped by here and even on a Ford, the Van Bortel Subaru team was able to fix it in minutes with a smile. Truly awesome walk in "can you help me and fix it?" visit, solved and back on the road in no time. Nothing they won't do for you...is so true. Thank you!
Solid and Stable

Solid smaller SUV with good resale. This vehicle has all the necessities without a whole lot of extras. Its a reliable vehicle that gets good gas mileage.
Good people to deal with no real surprises.
Suburu showroom is old and small but they are just starting on a new building.
They did not show the sales documents ahead of time, so not a lot of time to read fine print, but everything went as planned.
Salesman, Paul Switzer was good to deal with.
They also include every other oil change for free which was a pleasant surprise.
