Can't go wrong buying your Subaru from Jeff at Grand Subaru

Using an Internet service, I provided the Subaru Dealers in my area an exact detailed description of the color and options of the 2017 Forester I was ready to buy. Grand Subaru's Jeff Schade provided the first and only comprehensive email response and did so in minutes. In his response he told me they had an incoming Forester matching the exact model, color, and options I requested at a price that was lower that I expected. Great! I called him, put down a deposit via credit card, and added a few dealer installed options. I don't know how Jeff could have made it easier or been more pleasant. Next day, if I recall, Melissa Distel followed up with an email making sure everything was going well. She was pleased to know Jeff and I already had a deal. One thing I had to point out to her is the reason I was buying a car from Grand Subaru is they didn't provide the typical "Hey, we got cars, come on down for a test drive" slow response I got some some other dealers. I want everyone reading my review to understand I am not maligning other Subaru dealers. I am just pointing out given that I knew EXACTLY what I wanted, Grand Subaru was the dealer that did a near perfect job of selling the way I wanted to buy. Just a few days later, Jeff let me know my Forester had arrived on time and we setup of an appointment to close the deal. The appointment went quick enough given the necessary amount of paperwork requiring signatures and an upsale for extended service. Al Hassan in Finance got us through finalizing payment, title, plates, and registration quick enough, as well. Boring, but necessary part done, Jeff mounted the plates and then provided an expert-level tour of our Forester. It wasn't the "here is your car and this is how to turn on the lights", but included how to add fluids, move seats, manage the climate control, attach multiple phones via Bluetooth, perform various systems operations, tips of using X-Mode, etc.... (Later, I went through the user manual cover to cover and don't think Jeff left anything out) Post sales follow-up both by Jeff and the Subaru Mothership has been timely, informative, useful, and in just the right amount. Subaru has really figured out how to do the post-sales stuff right.
