2021 Subaru Forester review
One of the best cars I have ever owned. It drives like a dream, has more get-up-and-go then I ever thought a 4 cyl. could have. I make a 3000 miles trip from Texas to Utah in may and averaged 34 miles per gallon. I would recommend them to everyone.

Spontaneous windshield cracked to 2 1/2 feet in just seconds! No stones seen, without warning, bang. The part cost $850.00 more for eye-sight calibration! Subaru dealer said total cost, around $2000!

Last week I went to Peoria Subaru to help my daughter buy a used car, her first. It was without question the best car buying experience I have ever had. The dealership was smaller than others I have been to, but very new looking and certainly big enough. Caitlin Humphrey was the person who assisted us. We found Caitlin to be very friendly and helpful without being the least bit artificial. Her title on her card is Product Specialist and she certainly knows Subarus. She was able demonstrate all the features of the car and sat with my daughter for an extended time, after the sale, to familiarize her with all the controls. She was also very professional and knowledgeable about the sales process. All the information was presented succinctly without a lot of distracting side sale pressure for addons or extras. Caitlin genuinely seemed to enjoy and reflect my daughter's enthusiasm in getting the first car of her own. I would not hesitate to visit Caitlin and Peoria Subaru for my next car purchase. Best experience in 50 years of purchasing vehicles. Here’s why: For some context: I’m a hard-core car guy and have purchased and owned a number of high-end vehicles over the years. Also, as a retired Sales VP I’ve seen some of the best and worst of sales experiences at car dealers. I could hardly wait to get my hands on their new Uncharted EV and was interested to see if the rumors I’ve heard about Subaru dealers being easy to work with were true. However, I never thought this would be the best experience I’ve ever had buying a vehicle. It was also a pleasant surprise because they’re part of a large conglomerate, AutoNation that had great reach to get me the vehicle I wanted and was unbelievably flexible. Andy Morales, my sales rep, was simply outstanding. He made the car buying process fun! He was very communicative, easy to work with, very knowledgeable and projected a honest I’m here to help vibe. Best of all he was not high pressure. One of the more pleasurable experiences I’ve ever had buying a car. I would highly recommend Andy. When it came time to close the deal, I had the great good fortune to work with Colton the sales manager. Usually, working with the sales manager or finance manager is challenging to say the least. Colton was a breath of fresh air! Very easy and straightforward to work with. Everything was in writing, he was easy to deal with and didn’t do the normal pushy let’s add all the crap you really don’t need at the end spiel. Such a great experience and he was able to give me a very competitive offer as well. So the bottom line is I was absolutely stunned how great these guys are to work with. If you’re in the market for a vehicle, I would highly recommend Andy and Colton. What a great way to start my first experience with Subaru!! One last observation. Their after sale follow up was as good as or better than what I’ve experienced at Lexus & BMW. Thank you Justin (Finance), Mike (Service) and Tabitha (Vehicle help) for offering me so much support!!!

They still use the age old "up" system in greeting walk in prospects, which is fair to the sales people, but we didn't feel like we were just a number. No price negotiations here as the posted price is what it is and the sales people don't work on commission. We had searched their inventory via internet and indicated the vehicle which we were interested in looking at. It was parked at the front entrance waiting for us when we arrived at our appointment time. We ended up buying it. Will buy our next car here too.

I like the solid feel of the car and the sturdy and high ride. Good acceleration. It would be a better SUV if the ground clearance was at least 10” or 12”, with the exhaust pipe properly tucked away!

2021 Subaru Forester review
Other than battery replacement , car has been amazing ! 1 exception cup holders are located too far aft and require driver to look down to locate cup without removing eyes from road ! This issue has been partially addressed in later years by offsetting passengers holder slightly forward of drivers, but still awkward position ! both should be more forward nearer to dash !

My husband and I went to Jay Auto Sales to check out some of their used cars. We needed to replace my beloved old Prius that was rear-ended and totaled by the insurance company. We were greeted outside by Robert, who invited us into his office inside to talk. After chatting for awhile, we told him that money was really an issue, and as it happens there were no cars that day that we could really afford. He was so understanding, and actually did not try to sell us a car at all, but recommended that we get our car back and get it fixed because that would cost less than buying another car. We were so impressed with his honesty and really, a very kind and caring attitude. We did not buy a car that day, but if I were going to buy a car from a dealer, I would definitely go to Jay Auto Sales and talk to Robert.
