Napleton Palatine Hyundai review
To Hyundai of Palatine : it’s our first time owning a Hyundai an we had such a good experience, especially with our knowledgeable sales representatives name Daniel Merritt. He really made the experience so much better. He explained all the features of the ioniq 9 car that we liked and ended up leasing. He guided us thru the whole process and was very hands on. He is an excellent salesman for Hyundai. He especially worked hard to meet our budget and the car we liked. It was a great pleasure to have Daniel as our salesman.
2025 Subaru Forester review
My first Subaru although each of my kids had a used one as their first cars. Very well made, It is quite comfortable but I wish the seats went up a little bit more. I bought the Premium model and it has everything you could ask for. Handles great, has more than enough oomph, and I am averaging around 26.5 mpg in mostly city driving. Took a 200 mile out and back trip, and averaged 34.8 mpg. I will certainly buy another Subaru when it is time, usually every 2-3 years.

Car drives very well and has many nice safety features. It is good on gas mileage and has been dependable. Subaru service at the dealership is all you could ask for. So far at 29K miles, tires & brakes are still good.

CarMax Glencoe (Edens Expy) review
I was looking for a specific car that was at this CarMax. Problem was that I live in Minnesota, not Chicago and would have to traveling a great distance for a car I had not seen other than in pics, potentially risking wasting a great deal of time and money. I had to trust Jonathan, my salesman, to tell me the condition of the car where the pics could not. He was completely honest and the car was exactly what he said it was. Between Jonathan and Adam, the sales manager i was able to close the deal and drive back to home within an hour. I am completely pleased with the car and 100% satisfied with the dealership. I guess you can trust a car dealership. I did and they did not let me down. Thanks guys.
2020 Subaru Forester review
The Forester is the first SUV I ever owned. It has had a few issues, but the dealership, Kenny Ross in Irwin Pa, has always been top notch in customer service. First issue was the orignal tires went bald after only 10,000 miles. I called Kenny Ross and they said they would contact corporate. Got 4 new tires at no charge. Next issue I did not even know I had. Took it in for an oil change and they tell me I need a new CVT. Didn't know I had a problem. No charge again. Last issue was a radio that kept giving an error message and would not work. Took four visits to isolate the problem, but now have a new radio that brings in more stations. Again for free. Highly recommend the bumper to bumper warranty. Money well spent.

Napleton's Palatine Subaru review
My experience purchasing my new Subaru was fantastic. My sales person Anastasia was amazing. She was very helpful knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable with my first new car purchase. Her knowledge not only about the car but her ability to speak English, Russian and Ukrainian was very valuable to me as English is not my first language. I would recommend her and your dealership to any of my friends and family who would be interested in purchasing a new vehicle in the future. Thank you for making my first purchase so comfortable.

CarMax Schaumburg review
Communicated with John Leno from the Schaumburg facility online. John understood my needs and responded quickly with Jeeps to review - after a bit of humming and hawing on my part, I changed my mind to trucks. I found a truck at another facility, John had it tranferred and within 2 days my soon to be truck arrived - and it is a beauty. John was training Matt and they both demonstrated immense knowledge throughout the interaction and I appreciated the ease of communication (not pushy). I cannot comment on the financing portion of the transaction, but closing went just as smoothly with Hubert and his supervisor. WHile impressed with my transaction I was also impressed with the amount of time that was placed on the training of new employees, or employees transferring. While yes my truck need a repair on the fog lights, it is covered under their warranty, I am highly impressed with my experience. From walking in the front door, to having John take my picture of me and my truck with a giant yellow ribbon... every individual at Carmax truly made the buying and trading experience a wonderful experience. Team Schaumburg, keep up the great work, each of you understand the true meaning of Customer Service, and that is important to some customers like me who still cherish old school values.
2024 Subaru Forester review
I’ve owned this car for about 18 months. It has I bought it new and it now has about 17,000 miles on it. I love driving it. The safety features are excellent! The performance is good. I’m getting around 32 MPG for all around driving. I have the car maintained at the dealership and haven’t had any mechanical issues. I would definitely recommend this car.

Zeigler Subaru of Kenosha review
Wife had 3 Subaru's maintained at Ziegler since 2014. We also bought a used car for daughter in 2021. All good!! Service Writer Lauren Gaines is Exceptional! Wife's car blew out a rear wheel brake cylinder in 2023. We limped in & explained the problem to Lauren, she checked the puddle of brake fluid around the rear wheel & immediately put a hand written sign, NO BRAKES, on the dash before finishing the repair order. Adults can't be taught common sense or personal responsibility ...
2020 Subaru Forester review
This car is so comfortable! The driver sits up high, with great sight lines in all directions. The seats are comfortable. The features are very intuitive. My car has automatic door locks so when I walk up to the car with my key fob, put my hand on the door handle the doors unlock. It has automatic headlight dimmer which works great. It has plenty of power for freeway acceleration. All wheel drives makes it great in snow. I’m very happy with this car.

Castle Chevrolet GMCReviews
Castle Chevrolet GMC review
Buying my Camaro from Castle Chevrolet in McHenry was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I worked with Eric Loredo, who set the tone by doing a full virtual walk around and video of the car before I arrived, answering all my questions in real time. When my wife and I landed at ORD, the car was spotless and ready to go. Finance Manager Mike Lazzara had all documents sent ahead so I could DocuSign, making the delivery quick and smooth. Sales Manager Matt Knudson, GSM Jerry Spanier, and Andrew Sytsma (who wasn’t my salesman but still took time to chat and share product knowledge) all played a part in making this one of the easiest purchases I’ve ever had. The team knew my previous car was totaled in a tornado, and they went above and beyond to make this out-of-state transaction simple and stress-free. Eric and the entire Castle team reminded me that buying a car doesn’t have to be a battle. I would absolutely buy from them again.

Star Nissan - IL review
Overall pleasant experience. Sad that an oil change now costs $130. I guess it's time I change it myself or use one of the local mechanics instead of dealership
2024 Subaru Forester review
Next to top rating in Consumer Reports. Lives up to its rating 100%. Only concerns thus far, after three weeks of use. 1) takes time to learn use of various electrical and mechanical controls -- after 20+plus years of VW Jetta ownership, "a lot is different." Just have to be patient learning all the new features. 2) Auto-safety features (staying in lanes, braking distance warning, etc.) are helpful to some less-attentive drivers but annoying to this long-experienced user. Fortunately, they can be turned off and stop the chirping.

The sales women Joanna was very nice and attended us with care. However they couldn’t find the key the day we got the car, they later told us we would receive it 2 days after, it has now been almost 2 weeks since they said they would send it to us and I still haven’t received my key.
2024 Subaru Forester review
the forester sport is very reliable get 26 mpg on most of my daily commutes. Drives great in the winter (even though I have the same tires they came with). Traveling in it on road trips are great, 31 mpg using the cruise control and lane assist. It's not a very fast SUV but it honestly worth it. I tend to speed, but it's not something that actually bothers me. I was worried it would be too sluggish. I picked the forester for my road trips, and extra stuff I drive with.

2020 Subaru Forester review
I have a 2020 Forester with 19000 miles. I love it, especially as a tall and aging man. It it easy to drive, easy to get in and get out. Miles per gallon is great, typically well over 30 mpg in day to day city driving. I have noticed a number of complaints about batteries. I think in 2019-2020 they had a bad supplier of batteries. My experience was total battery failure at about 10000 miles. I had to purchase a replacement from AAA. Such stories were common during that period. I was irritated but received reimbursement even though it is not typical for a dealer/car company to do so. Smart dealers want to keep your business. The only other expenses were created by potholes knocking the car out of allignment and nails in parking lots puncturing the same tire twice! Sweep your xxxx parking lots retailers and restaurants.

10/10 if I could, everyone there was attentive and answered all our questions. In and out with a new car in 2 hours flat.
2026 Subaru Forester review
Rid is my third Subaru since 1984. First was a Subaru station wagon, had for 20 yrs, 220,000 miles. Second was a 2004 Subaru Forester. Just sold to another individual for $2,000 with 184,000 miles on it. Still running, original air, only issue was check engine light being on and couldn’t find what issue was. New owner thinks he may have identified and hoping to be fixed. I was hoping he might get another 100,000 miles out of car. He said he would be thrilled with 50,000. Just bought a brand new 2026 basic Forester. Love it even with all the new electronics on it.

Brilliance Subaru review
We acquired our first Subaru this week, and the experience was truly exceptional. Working with Ed and Jeremy from the sales team, as well as Jason in financing, was a pleasure, as they were all highly knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable with the information they provided. We traveled from Iowa to make the purchase, having heard numerous positive reviews about Brilliance's commitment to customer satisfaction. Ed's dedication to ensuring I felt comfortable was evident, as he stayed late before we drove home that night. Ed has also checked in and ensured if I had any questions or concerns not to hesitate and call him. It’s apparent that Customer Satisfaction is number one here.
2026 Subaru Forester review
This is my second Subaru, I just returned a 2024 Crosstrek, after three different Rav4’s I lease. I got the 2026 Subaru Forester Onyx Sport Edition. It’s all blacked out, with 17 inch wheels and Harmon audio, remote start, panoramic sunroof, all the safety features you name. I am in love with this thing so much higher up than the Crosstrek, more pick up, roomier, just all around better. I even like it better than any of my Ravs.

I have bought my last few Subarus from this dealership even though it is further from my home than at least 3 other Subaru dealers. They always seem willing to make me a nice deal on a new car, and they go above and beyond making the the process fast and convenient. Further, the sales representative with whom I worked, Reid Stanley, was accommodating, calm, not pushy, helpful and informative. Really everything one would wish for in a sales associate.

Brilliance Subaru review
First time purchasing a Subaru and the experience at Brilliance Subaru was great. Ed and Dan were absolutely great to work with, answering any questions/concerns we had with knowledge and professionalism. As a whole, everyone at the dealership was exceptional, making us feel welcome without adding pressure. Overall great experience!
2026 Subaru Forester review
I bought this 2026 Subaru Forester Premium to replace the 2026 KIA Sportage that we had bought back in November 25. The KIA wasn't bad but the service department sucks. It had peeling paint on the bumper, and they denied the warranty claim, I started thinking if they are going to deny peeling paint what happens when something goes wrong with the engine or transmission. So much for their 10-year 100,000-mile warranty, what a joke. We currently own a 2024 Subaru Outback and now the 2026 Subaru Forester. All of the Subarus that we have own have treated us good, just make sure that keep up with maintenance and they last a long time. Landers Mclartys Subaru in Huntsville, AL, treated very fair with our trade-in and price on both vehicles,

My purchase history has been that of a General Motors enthusiast. My wife worked with Subaru owners; they had no complaints. Decades of commercial truck driving exposed me to witnessing the site's of too many bad accidents. The Subaru safety record has earned my loyalty.

The service appointment time and work duration was done as promised and service writers couldn't have been any more polite and professional. I also appreciate that they didn't put too much pressure on me with further maintenance suggestions. Most importantly, my outback is running great
2023 Subaru Forester review
Likes: spacious interior despite modest exterior dimensions, easy to maneuver, great visibility all around, comfortable ride, good traction, handling, and braking, nice interior finish on sport model, strong steering responsive headlights yet they don't blind opposing traffic, very good optional Harmon sound system, numerous effective safety features, low insurance premiums, adequate acceleration..a few cons: actual economy slightly under EPA estimates, seat may be a bit too firm for some but easy to address by adding a thin seat cushion, mandatory sunroof on all but the base model..I wish Subaru would just make that a single option..rough engine start-stop ..however I disable it each time I start engine so it can be a non issue...no reliability issues yet but since this has a cvt and fairly complex safety features, long term reliability is unknown..

I had a very pleasant experience purchasing a car here. Ed, our sales associate, was very helpful and knowledgeable. Jeremy, the finance manager, made the purchasing process quick and didn’t push any unnecessary extras on us. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a new Subaru.

Castle Subaru McHenryReviews
Castle Subaru McHenry review
This was my 11th Subaru purchase, and without question, it was the most memorable buying experience I’ve ever had. From the very beginning, Olivia set the tone. On my first visit, it was absolutely pouring rain, but she never let the weather slow her down. She gladly brought out multiple Outbacks for me to compare, answered every question with patience, and made sure I had everything I needed to make the right decision. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured. Her professionalism, positivity, and genuine care were evident from day one. Nicole made the business side of the process equally impressive. She was transparent, fair, and solutions-oriented throughout the negotiation. Rather than making it feel like a transaction, she made it feel like a partnership. She listened, communicated clearly, and demonstrated the kind of leadership that creates long-term customer loyalty. Nate wrapped everything up with the same level of excellence. He took the time to thoroughly explain every detail, answered all of my questions, and made what is often the least enjoyable part of buying a vehicle surprisingly comfortable. His emotional intelligence and authenticity stood out, and I truly appreciated the way he treated me throughout the process. I’ve purchased eleven Subarus over the years, but this experience was different. The vehicle is outstanding, but what I’ll remember most is the people. Olivia, Nicole, and Nate each played a role in creating an experience built on trust, professionalism, and genuine customer care. Thank you all for reminding me that exceptional customer service still exists. You’ve earned not only this sale but my continued loyalty and enthusiastic recommendation to anyone looking for their next Subaru.

I just recently purchased my first Subaru although all of my family members owned them for years. I purchased a touring Forester and I love it It is spacious and very quiet and ride beautifully. It's a great value and my insurance company agrees with the safeties of Subaru.

2021 Subaru Forester review
Other than battery replacement , car has been amazing ! 1 exception cup holders are located too far aft and require driver to look down to locate cup without removing eyes from road ! This issue has been partially addressed in later years by offsetting passengers holder slightly forward of drivers, but still awkward position ! both should be more forward nearer to dash !

Napleton's Palatine Subaru review
I had an outstanding experience purchasing my vehicle at Napleton's Subaru in Paletine, Illinois. The salesperson Bart Wajtyla was very professional and courteous. He explained features in the vehicle well during the test drive. He even gave me a bottle of water while he was completing the transaction of selling me a vehicle. His manager and he compromised with me very well until the vehicle was purchased.
2023 Subaru Forester review
Overall, at 60k miles, I’ve had no problems and am very happy. I average around 34 mpg’s with mixed driving. I’m happy with the acceleration as well, even though Subaru’s without a turbo are sometimes labeled as slow. I have no problem merging onto highways. The Forester is an easy to live with SUV/car. The rear room is adequate, although the CRV offers about 10 cubic feet more rear capacity. Visibility is excellent. The CVT is smooth and has simulated shifts, just make sure you change the fluid every 30k! I own the Limited with leather seats that are very comfortable. Sometimes the response time on the radio/touch screen can feel a little delayed. I also opted for the dimming driver/rear view mirrors which is great during winter commuting. It saves your eyes from glare. Very view cars offer this which is why I went with the Subaru. My only “major” complaint with the car is a slight rattle coming from the dash board area. It isn’t always there, but is present enough to bother me. Aside from that it is an excellent vehicle and value for the money!

CarMax West BroadReviews
CarMax West Broad review
First time I went in, was just looking to see what was on the lot and was greeted, and after that, not another contact with anyone. When I came back to test drive a few vehicles, got a great sales guy. Overall selection of vehicles is quite nice, and most of the vehicles are almost new to very good condition. Though Carmax likes to display the image they sell cars that have or haven't had any issues, you'll find you'll need to look closer. Most are bought at auction after coming off lease or from being a fleet vehicle. Which is a good thing, as you the regular maintenance was done on them and often the vehicles have original warranties still in effect depending on what vehicle you are looking for and what year. The sales guy was low pressure, and when I came in the next day to buy, I was given another one since he was completing a sale on another customer. Wasn't an issue, as he or the guy that took over were truly "car" guys. The liked cars, had sales experience, but weren't "car" guys. The experience was good overall, but the highlight was completing the deal. Paperwork was done quickly (I had preapproval from my credit union with EFT) and finished the paperwork in about twenty minutes. Amazing, got the vehicle at just an average price, but go the mileage I wanted, with original warranty and extended warranty at the price I was willing to pay. SO overall, win for me, and though I was never a Carmax fan (still rubs me the wrong way their colors are almost best buy colors when their parent company was circuit city....). But I will say my mind was changed.
2025 Subaru Forester review
Bought this car and took off for a 2000miles trip so learned along the way, Not a speed demon but enough to get into traffic and gas mileage is great...over 30 on highway. my only complaint was I couldn't see during a bad storm because the center screen was so bright it was blinding me and had to turn it off. I have over 15000miles on it and owned for over a year and I would buy another one,
