I have been looking for a Subaru Baja fora while now and I finally did at carmax in salt lake. I was three hours away and couldn't get out there quickly so they held the car for me. FOR A WEEK. They had people come in and was wanting it.But they still held it. I wish they would negotiate on the price. But I got it at a good price. The car was in top shape and the interior is awesome. I was given full information on the car I was buying. Was treated with trust, they let me test drive the car I was looking for immediately. They helped me find the best financing for my situation, and helped me understand why I needed the warranty. Went in at 9:30am had a new car by 11:30am. Can’t complain for a fully loaded 2017 with 277 miles. I’m stoked!!!
Jack and Carlos were awesome! No pressure yet they were there when you needed them. My only complaints are the wait time to find out how much my trade in would be. Then after purchasing my car they fixed the tire pressure and took it on a test drive, while I was waiting he picked up lunch and ate in my new car and made a mess! Other then that I have a great car at a fantastic price!

Look no further when trying to decide where to buy a car. Felt very comfortable when walking the lot and inside. I purchase a new vehicle every 12-18 months. I have dealt with every dealer in Utah County and the majority in Salt Lake County. Most of these dealings did not end in a sale due to poor customer service, knowledge etc.
I’m a self-admitted demanding customer, which naturally would preclude several dealerships.
I have purchased 2 vehicles from Doug Smith Jeep, American Fork, in the past 4 months. One new vehicle had issues I wouldn’t tolerate and the dealer worked with me and gave me a fair deal on a second vehicle, which was the same model etc. This would total 3 vehicles in 4 months.
Chris Smith and Gabe Smith are the most friendly and professional car sales folks I have ever dealt with. They understand the customers needs and wants and work tirelessly to make things happen.
They truly work for the customer. They are not pushy, overbearing or otherwise unpleasant.
The buying experience with them and their dealership is absolutely second to none.
I will never purchase a vehicle from any other dealer as long as they work at Doug Smith.

I'm from California and Asay had the Range Rover I had been searching for. I was heading back home the next day and everyone bent over backwards to get me home ASAP with my new car. They came down on a Sunday so I could test drive it and get all the paperwork done. I test drove and bought the car and was in and out all in 50 mins. That is the experience everyone should have when buying a car.
