2024 Subaru Outback review
This is the eleventh Subaru I have owned, the third outback; the Outback wilderness is by far the best performer of all of the others I have had. I have been happy with subarus from the first one I bought a 1978 Brat; sure wish i still had it.

I am new to The Villages, so I was unaware of Bill Bryan Subaru service center‘s excellent reputation. Several weeks ago, I was at an early morning medical appointment in Orlando and came out to my car to find my 5 year old battery dead as a door nail. I was able to get a “jump,” but I was very shaky about heading home and perhaps not being able to start my car later in the day. From Orlando, I randomly looked up Subaru dealers near TV. I called Bill Bryan Subaru service at about 8:30 in the morning...probably every service departments busiest time...and a very nice scheduler realized my panic and said “bring it on in”. As soon as I pulled in, I was greeted by Alejandro Rosar. Not only did he have a new battery installed, he also had an oil change, much needed, added on to the service. The technician also performed a wonderful multi-point inspection. Alejandro went over that report with me and, I have to say, his attention and the new battery, the oil change, and the inspection gave me a very satisfied and secure feeling about my car. 2024 Subaru Outback review
The acceleration lag that this car has is immediately outweighed by everything else. This car is super smooth and granny sedan comfy, and it has more utility than any equally priced SUV. The roof rails have built-in cross bars that stow, it tows 3500 pounds, and the Harmon-Kardon sound system kicks. It has butt fans, people. Additionally, the aftermarket base is thick, so accessories, customization, and reflashing options abound. The tech is old, the powertrain is old, but you see 300 of them a day for a reason.

2024 Subaru Outback review
We currently own the Outback 2024 XT, and it’s a great car to drive. However, its turbo CVT engine does produce a slight lag in acceleration and when slowing down. Just a matter of getting used to. Also had issue with the lift gate button, which broke after only two months in possession. My wife and I are in our 60s, and all our kids have their own families, so thank goodness we don’t have to drive those 8 seater SUVs anymore. This outback has been the best alternative for us.
