2024 Subaru Crosstrek review
Too early to be sure of reliability, but my previous 4 subarus were great. I came here to say how much I like this new purchase, a used '24. Great cruise features. Good power & performance (2.5L) so I'm happy with the CVT. I just love it. They're still a bit lighter and noisier than the outback/legacy versions.

2016 Subaru WRX review
The FA 20 engine and cvt transmission were designed as a unit .There have been issues with the cvt as drag racing stretches the internal belt and the hurt begins rolling starts all good . Great road car in any weather a solid performer .

After speaking with the General Manager, Jeff Mazer, it wasn't the dealership so much as it was the finance manager (who is no longer employed there). While this practice was done, it was NOT the dealership that employed the tactic. The dealership took measures to rectify the situation by terminating the employee and sending a check for the whole amount of the protection plan ($3,250) to my lien holder. It took some work and yes, I am still a bit butt hurt, but I will continue to be a customer here.
2025 Subaru Ascent review
First Subaru ever. Got the Ascent Touring onyx. Fully loaded. The handling is great. I love the all wheel drive. It is much zippier than my Toyota Highlander Hybrid. For the money, the safety equipment, and extras are worth it. I LOVE the auto vehicle hold! Never knew I needed it until I had it. I miss the mileage of my hybrid, but the amount I drive it is not too much of an overall ownership cost difference. The center counsel system is slow to react sometimes, and would like physical buttons. Otherwise I love the large screen. Happy that the shifter is actually a shifter not a button or knob. Love the rear view camera, and surround cameras for parking are good. App, is better than most, and facial recognition is great for seat, mirror adjustments and lifetime gas mileage!

Excitedly, we drove home with a beautiful 2019 Toyota Highlander.
2023 Subaru Outback review
2023 Subaru Outback Limited XT. A great station wagon (it’s not really a SUV). Comfortable leather seats, smooth ride and extremely quick with the turbo. If you don’t need seating for eight, you have no need for the Ascent. Same engine and cargo capacity and ground clearance, lower to the ground, faster, better handling and several thousand dollars cheaper. Standard all wheel drive. Full safety suite. 11.6” infotainment system is really closer to 8” as the climate control takes the additional 3.6”. The Harmon Kardon sound system will blow your doors off. Good in car navigation. Wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Hands free tailgate. 0-60 in 5.8 on regular gas. Standard roof rails. Even has heated outboard rear seats. If you’re considering a midsize or smaller SUV you owe it to yourself to drive this first.

We have owned two Outbacks and have enjoyed them both. They are great to drive and very safe. My only complaint would be the touch screen, and only because I prefer buttons and knobs. But overall we love the car and would recommend it.

2026 Subaru Crosstrek review
I purchased my new 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Limited from White's Mountain Subaru in Casper, WY. I selected the Subaru after doing a lot of comparison shopping and research. The Crosstrek was the best value for the money. I am an older person and the adjustable seats are at a level that is easy to get in and out of. The cabin is roomy, and there is plenty of space in the cargo area. The heated seats and heated steering wheel are a nice feature. The ride is very comfortable, especially on longer trips. The vehicle is solid - well built. Subaru's commitment to safety is apparent and that gives me peace of mind when I'm on the road. Overall, I am very satisfied with my new 2026 Subaru Crosstrek.

2016 Subaru Forester review
I've never owned a Subaru before but after purchasing the Forester, I may never own anything but a Subaru again! I love the Eyesight Drivers Assistant that it came equipped with. I can see why this car has one of the best safety ratings out there. The interior is very open, spacious, & comfortable and the panoramic sunroof is amazing! It drives and handles like a dream. I would recommend this car to anyone. You won't be disappointed!

2025 Subaru Forester review
Bought this car and took off for a 2000miles trip so learned along the way, Not a speed demon but enough to get into traffic and gas mileage is great...over 30 on highway. my only complaint was I couldn't see during a bad storm because the center screen was so bright it was blinding me and had to turn it off. This was my 11th Subaru purchase, and without question, it was the most memorable buying experience I’ve ever had. From the very beginning, Olivia set the tone. On my first visit, it was absolutely pouring rain, but she never let the weather slow her down. She gladly brought out multiple Outbacks for me to compare, answered every question with patience, and made sure I had everything I needed to make the right decision. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured. Her professionalism, positivity, and genuine care were evident from day one. Nicole made the business side of the process equally impressive. She was transparent, fair, and solutions-oriented throughout the negotiation. Rather than making it feel like a transaction, she made it feel like a partnership. She listened, communicated clearly, and demonstrated the kind of leadership that creates long-term customer loyalty. Nate wrapped everything up with the same level of excellence. He took the time to thoroughly explain every detail, answered all of my questions, and made what is often the least enjoyable part of buying a vehicle surprisingly comfortable. His emotional intelligence and authenticity stood out, and I truly appreciated the way he treated me throughout the process. I’ve purchased eleven Subarus over the years, but this experience was different. The vehicle is outstanding, but what I’ll remember most is the people. 2023 Subaru Forester review
Overall, at 60k miles, I’ve had no problems and am very happy. I average around 34 mpg’s with mixed driving. I’m happy with the acceleration as well, even though Subaru’s without a turbo are sometimes labeled as slow. I have no problem merging onto highways. The Forester is an easy to live with SUV/car. The rear room is adequate, although the CRV offers about 10 cubic feet more rear capacity. Visibility is excellent. The CVT is smooth and has simulated shifts, just make sure you change the fluid every 30k! I own the Limited with leather seats that are very comfortable. Sometimes the response time on the radio/touch screen can feel a little delayed. I also opted for the dimming driver/rear view mirrors which is great during winter commuting. It saves your eyes from glare. Very view cars offer this which is why I went with the Subaru. My only “major” complaint with the car is a slight rattle coming from the dash board area. It isn’t always there, but is present enough to bother me. Aside from that it is an excellent vehicle and value for the money!

2026 Subaru Crosstrek review
We love our new Subaru car… Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid. The process was challenging. Chris Baird worked with us every step of the way. Since 2014 I have purchased three new cars at Janesville Subaru (a Legacy, Forester Premium and recently a Forester Limited). Allow me to share my experiences. The salesperson I deal with is Deana Watry. Deana sold me my first car from this dealership – but it was not my first Subaru which was purchased back in the 1980’s! I was impressed with Deana from the start. She was able to answer questions and get me into a vehicle my wife and I were seeking. If Deana did not know an answer she would find it. Over the years of brining cars in for servicing Deana maintained contact and ensured things were continuing to go well. As a buyer in his late 60’s I have dealt with a variety of salespeople in other dealerships selling other makes and models. Most in sales are simply out for themselves and will tell you whatever they like to get a sale – buyer regret usually followed. Deana is personally interested in helping us get what we wanted within our budget. She understands that customer satisfaction is about integrity, being honest, follow-up and continuing to build trust. Yes, I will continue to buy from Deana – I hope you do as well. Now for the dealership. After purchasing a 2015 Legacy the driver’s seat could not be moved forward or back. A Rockford Subaru dealership wanted $2,000.00 to replace the seat. Subaru of America had me reach out to Janesville Subaru to have them evaluate the seat. Within 10 minutes the problem had been fixed. A quarter had fallen into the seat track and stopped the seat from moving. There was no charge. I gave the bent quarter to the service manager with my thanks! I’ve only had service done there since. Buying tires - they are competitive with the large retailers. This means free rotation with oil change and free car wash. Travel is part of my job. Having a dependable car is essential. The dealership is good at keeping me updated about regular maintenance. In the service department, Jonathan and others work to schedule according to your time frame. It has been common for me to get in on short notice. I like the dealership and believe you will as well. Be sure to ask for Deana if you want to buy.
2023 Subaru Forester review
LOVE this car, maybe a little biased since this is my 5th Forester, my 2nd Wilderness. My first Wilderness was totaled in a head-on collision when a young driver spilled coffee and veered into my lane and struck me head-on. That was my 1st Subaru Forester Wilderness and IT SAVED MY LIFE. Full curtain all-around airbag deployment with a roll, the Wilderness coming to rest on it's right side, me still strapped into seatbelt, and the Subaru automatic crash notification with a live person on the speakers asking me if I was ok and needed 911! Smoke still coming from the airbag deployments, and there is a live person coming over the speakers asking me if I'm ok. It was surreal. SUBARU FORESTER WILDERNESS SAVED MY LIFE! TYVM Subaru! LOVE this car! Gets 25+ MPG with conservative driving, a great ride and suspension, superior traction in mud and snow, load-out practically anything/rack bikes (or whatever on the roof racks), sleep in the back with ample room, superior rear-gate lift mechanism with memory, seats super-comfortable and easily adjustable, solid rear-seat leg-room, easy rear-seat fold-downs for massive cargo area that takes my full HVAC tool load-out for servicing ice baths all over the NorthEast US. A great value, especially CPO with +10K mileage (vs. new) MONEY WELL SPENT! SUBARU FOR LIFE

This was much appreciated.The car was delivered to us in an unfavorable condition due to a miscommunication. Napletons had made an effort to get the car to us promptly and as a result a full detail wasn’t performed. The dealership contacted us an had us bring the car back in for a full detail and went above and beyond to rectify our dissatisfaction. They did a great job removing stains and odors that existed from the previous owner. Their efforts were noticed and appreciated. Sometimes it’s the little things that matter and make the biggest difference with customer service.
2026 Subaru Forester review
I just recently purchased my first Subaru although all of my family members owned them for years. I purchased a touring Forester and I love it It is spacious and very quiet and ride beautifully. It's a great value and my insurance company agrees with the safeties of Subaru.

2025 Subaru Outback review
I have had big trucks and SUV I now have a 2025 Outback wilderness, I had to drive this outback a while to get use to it, it was hard for me to get comfortable in this outback because it sat so low, for 60 years I had a vehicle sat up high and little more room in the front seat area,I got use to it, especially at the gas station with mpg I am getting , I am getting really right around 24 to 25 Mpg I am happy.Now that I have driven this outback for about 2 months I am happy, and in the Outback Wilderness it has the best AWD on the market not 4 wheel drive, never never let anybody tell you it is the same as 4 wheel drive If they do leave the dealership on the spot. I am happy I would buy again as long the price is 40k Or less if the price crosses the 45 k I would have gotten a Toyota 4 runner, not the 2025 models but the 2024 or 2023, remember these models are around 17 mpg with 23 gallon tanks with about 275 to 300 miles per tank

2026 Subaru Forester review
My 2nd Subaru, quiet and roomy. I am 6'2" and this is the first car with the leg room and interior height where I do not feel cramped. Just the perfect size vehicle for my wife and I for getting around. Smooth ride and excellent handling. Visibility from the drivers seat is outstanding, The surround vision on our Touring model is very helpful for getting into tight parking and judging distances to objects in front or behind us. The ability to switch the review mirror from Mirror to Camera Mode for viewing objects beneath the hatchback window. The remote start with climate set has spoiled us for getting into a cold car in the winter or unbearably hot in summer. The information main screen was intimidating at first, but after a month we are quite comfortable with it. The menus at first seemed overwhelming but we quickly learned that once they are setup to our needs, they do not have to be accessed again, especially with the facial recognition making the comfort settings when either one of us sit in the drivers seat. My biggest complaint so far, is that if you turn off the engine start/stop function , you are reminded every time you start the car that it is indeed off and to confirm by pressing the confirm button on the screen. Very annoying. other than that we are very happy with the 2026 Forester Touring.

Been looking on line for next vehicle for over 2 years. An accident forced me to finally act. Subaru has a great reputation. I bought a Forester. The hight of the seat was important as I get older. Just slide in, no ups or crawling down. I wanted a vehicle that provided some utility and great gas mileage. The Forester had it all. I inquired on a special order times and was told 9 to 12 weeks. Told Patrick exactly what I wanted. Then I had the accident. A few days later Patrick called and told me a Forester with my description was being built and would be available in 2 to 3 weeks. All I had to do is come in and put $1,000 down and they would put my name on it. All went like clock works. Very satisfied with the purchase at Napleton Subaru. Car drives like a dream. More electronics than I could imagine.
2026 Subaru Forester review
Outstanding vehicle. Quiet, dependable, comfortable. Acceptable power and economy. Pity the turbo is no longer available. This is our fourth Subie. No issues with any of them. Change the oil every six months and do the timing belt at 100K miles and it’s good for 200K plus.

I was very pleased with my experience. I started at CarMax to "try on" several cars from several manufacturers. The salesman (Jack) was happy to oblige, despite it being cold and rainy. We walked the lot and I sat in ~20 cars. I went home and researched them some more, scheduled a few to test drive and came back on Jack's day off. This time, I worked with Brandon for a few test drives and discussed other vehicles at nearby CarMax locations. They found a vehicle that fit my requirements and transported it in for me to test drive. A few days later, I was back for the final test drive, loved the car and purchased it. Jack and Brandon kept good communication, weren't pushy and were a pleasure to work with. The business office was quick and explained the paperwork and processes effectively. 2017 Subaru Impreza review
Front mid console is a bit awkward in placement, making it difficult to put two drinks in the designed locations. Its also awkward for the passenger to open the compartment because the fit is too close to the front seats. The lack of any dedicated sunglass compartment is frustrating. How about as part of the overhead info center?

Great car. I drive about 30 miles a day round trip. Great in city and on the freeway. Stylish great features. Comfortable ride even as a bigger dude.
