2025 Subaru Outback review
I'd say I'm brand-loyal to Subaru, given the ratings and history of the company and its emphasis on charitable contributions to animal and environmental causes, as well as my long time enjoyment of my former Subaru. So, when I needed to replace my 2008 Outback, my decision to upgrade to a new Outback was easy. As for the 2025, compared with the 2008, I am happy with the many "automated" features (like eyesight assisted braking and lane correction, adaptive cruise control, auto dimming brights, Auto Vehicle Hold, etc). Overall, I love the car. On the downside: I do not love the larger size. It feels like the seats and armrests were designed for a larger person than my 2008 Subie was (because the average body size of people had increased in recent years??}, and it's not an ideal fit for me. Also, the angled door armrests do not easily allow for actually resting my arm; it feels like I'm slipping off of it. I wish Subaru had not increased the size of the Outback, which now feels more like an SUV than a wagon. Maybe when I take my first car-camping trip, I'll appreciate the roomier interior.

2023 Subaru Ascent review
I recently traded in my 2022 Ascent for a similar 2023 model. The 2022 model had brakes issues/noises right from the beginning of ownership. Subaru gave me a great deal on the 2023 model. A number of improvement were found on the 2023 model. Obvious one is the exterior styling with new front grille, headlights and taillights. Interior improvements include updated Eyesight, quieter ride, better steering and brakes, larger multimedia screen including front and backup camera screens, driver profile system. A few other tweaks here and there, making the 2023 Ascent Touring a decent and very safe SUV. Not necessarily sporty or thrilling but perfect vehicle for commuting in town and long road trips.

2018 Subaru Outback review
I have the 2018 Outback 3.6R Limited, at 110,000 miles I replaced all struts and wheel bearing, the ride still isn’t the best but air pressure in tires kept at 39 psi has improved the ride significantly. I had a 2021 with the 4 cylinder engine and the reason I got rid of it was the cvt is fragile and doesn’t handle much weight or towing plus the screen and push buttons for everything, very distracting when driving and looking for the right soft touch function. I have had much better results going backwards to the 2018 6 cylinder engine and heavy duty cvt. It uses a 5W30 engine oil which is a million times better than 0W20 which honestly is really thin and breaks down quickly.

2020 Subaru Forester review
This car is so comfortable! The driver sits up high, with great sight lines in all directions. The seats are comfortable. The features are very intuitive. My car has automatic door locks so when I walk up to the car with my key fob, put my hand on the door handle the doors unlock. It has automatic headlight dimmer which works great. It has plenty of power for freeway acceleration. All wheel drives makes it great in snow. I’m very happy with this car.

2015 Subaru Outback review
I bought my 2015 3.6 Limited Outback in 2019. Had 59,000 mi on it. I have driven it 100,000 mi with a small amount of maintenance. Just replaced HID HEADLIGHT BULB…$300. Ouch! After sliding sideways down interstate in my full size van, I decided to research AWD and pick. I am so happy with my Outback, it performs so well in ice and snow. I like to go out and test its ability. At least I know what it will do on bad roads. 160,000 mi and drives like a new one. New tires are always a good help for wheels on pavement.

2015 Subaru Outback review
I have a 1/3 mile driveway that climbs 400 feet from the street to my house. The Outback with good winter tires (I use Bridgestone Blizzaks) climbs this driveway with 10" of fresh snow on it like a mountain goat. And it's far better as a daily driver on summer days than anything else which would make that climb (4x4 pickup or a Jeep). 85K miles in six years and it's only been in the shop twice, once for a couple of recalls and once for a stuck power tailgate. One day and out both times. Only two gripes. With the 6 cyl mill the gas mileage is dismal, and the seats are too short for good thigh support (I believe they have improved the seats in the newer models)

2015 Subaru Outback review
I bought used in 2023 a 2015 premium with 214k miles. I drove it 6k miles and only replaced the CV axle, this isn't impressive sounding but it was going through constant , aggressive off reading due to the rough road conditions I had to use because I live in the rocky mountains. I got in a rollover a 60 mph and I had no injuries, airbags kept me safe. Fuel economy was dismal with 21 in the city and 24 in the highway, safety and reliability are top tier, power was surprisingly adequate, the Bluetooth was appreciated and all the safety tech and other tech was very useable and helpful and accurate. Love the car would buy it again if I had the chance

I like the solid feel of the car and the sturdy and high ride. Good acceleration. It would be a better SUV if the ground clearance was at least 10” or 12”, with the exhaust pipe properly tucked away!

2022 Subaru Crosstrek review
I personally love my 22 Crosstrac. I have the turbo engine and it has a lot of go to it. Very sturdy on the road at higher speeds. I have the Limited Edition with diamond sparkle black paint, black leather interior very sharp looking vehicle. There was a few hiccups in the beginning with a few minor leaks around the windshield which was promptly fix by the dealership. Gas mileage is great. If you have a family or intend on traveling a lot, the storage part is small other than that perfection all around.

I bought the car at Sabaru of Englewood. First the car didn't came with the originals tires. I asked the seller if the car qualified for the $7000. 00 insentive and I thrust them. The car did not qualify for the gov. incentive because it was built outside the US. The sonterra is a very reliable vehicle. We like it a lot.

Baxter Toyota La Vista review
Reached out to Sicilia and Luke at 8am and got an immediate response. Was in the dealership at 11 and leaving with keys in hand at 1. Sicilia was super thorough, she gave me all the service reports and vehicle history. The dealership itself followed through on their inspection and replaced everything that was not in the green (brakes, tires, transmission fluid flush, windshield wipers etc) so I felt very confident driving the vehicle off the lot. Some dealerships I had chatted with were unsure or not knowledgeable at all on the vehicle I had interest in but Sicilia shared all the pros and cons of the vehicles I was looking at. Luke also made sure I had everything I needed. This dealership is not one that wants to just make sales, they genuinely seemed like they wanted to make sure we were getting exactly what we needed. Next time we are in the market I will look at Baxter Toyota first!!
2025 Subaru Forester review
My first Subaru although each of my kids had a used one as their first cars. Very well made, It is quite comfortable but I wish the seats went up a little bit more. I bought the Premium model and it has everything you could ask for. Handles great, has more than enough oomph, and I am averaging around 26.5 mpg in mostly city driving. Took a 200 mile out and back trip, and averaged 34.8 mpg. I will certainly buy another Subaru when it is time, usually every 2-3 years.

I purchased a 2026 Honda and was pleasantly surprised how everyone treated me there. From the people who made first contact at the door the sales person Jaunita and also the person who showed me how to operate all the new functions of the car. I’m from north central South Dakota and I was in the area visiting my daughter and her family. I found a car there on line that I’ve been researching for a while and drove down to look at it. I met sales person Jaunita and she was very professional and knowledgeable of the car even though it was a Honda and not a Toyota. She went with me for a test drive and answered all my questions. I couldn’t make the deal that day but she and Sam kept in touch with me and eventually we made the deal. I picked up the car last Saturday and drove it back to South Dakota, they had the car ready to go, spotless and a tank full of gas. Paperwork was very easy and everything was completed in a very short time. She explained extended warranty and other things I could add but didn’t pressure me to buy any of it. It was a pleasure doing business with them!

2026 Subaru Forester review
I bought this 2026 Subaru Forester Premium to replace the 2026 KIA Sportage that we had bought back in November 25. The KIA wasn't bad but the service department sucks. It had peeling paint on the bumper, and they denied the warranty claim, I started thinking if they are going to deny peeling paint what happens when something goes wrong with the engine or transmission. So much for their 10-year 100,000-mile warranty, what a joke. We currently own a 2024 Subaru Outback and now the 2026 Subaru Forester. All of the Subarus that we have own have treated us good, just make sure that keep up with maintenance and they last a long time. Landers Mclartys Subaru in Huntsville, AL, treated very fair with our trade-in and price on both vehicles,

2025 Subaru Forester review
My Forester is roomy enough for me and several passengers, yet small enough to park easily. It’s reliable, responsive, and I get 35 mpg. The safety features are excellent.

Baxter Subaru Omaha review
Brian was super helpful when we purchased our Subaru ascent. We had a great experience!!
2025 Subaru Outback review
I have owned Subaru wagons both used and new from 1984 until present. I own a 2012 Subaru Outback Limited 2.5 which I bought new. It has 220,000 miles. Other than routine maintenance and a couple rear wheel bearings, it is doing great! I also own a 2025 Subaru Outback Limited 2.5, I currently have 24,000 miles in it. Only real nuisances are the center tablet and no buttons or dials for hvac. It’s frankly a safety issue to play with a screen just to change hvac settings-dumb. 2026 they got smarter but changed the style for the worse. Additionally, the OEM tires are starting to sing at 24,000 miles. The first 24k the car was whisper quiet. Now I have to blast the radio to drown out the hum. Subaru needs to quit playing with cheap OEM tires. Throw a set of Michelins on there to start… The seats are comfortable-a great improvement over the seat design used from 2015-2019. I got rid of a new 2017 Outback after 95,000 miles because the seating was like sitting on slate. A complaint I have is the overuse of “safety nannies” which are too sensitive and could cause an accident rather than prevent one. Case in point, car can slam on the brakes for you if it thinks you are doing something abnormal that you probably do all the time. I dislike the 8 speed trans. My 6 speed is better on the 2012. 8 speeds are too many. No issues shifting or anything, CVT “shifts” fine. I still get 30 mpg Hwy on the 2012 and 32-34 on the 2025 Hwy. Subarus are wonderful vehicles but they better watch out so they don’t get too much more expensive or start following the crowd too much. Cars in general are too high priced…

2025 Subaru Forester review
Bought this car and took off for a 2000miles trip so learned along the way, Not a speed demon but enough to get into traffic and gas mileage is great...over 30 on highway. my only complaint was I couldn't see during a bad storm because the center screen was so bright it was blinding me and had to turn it off. I have over 15000miles on it and owned for over a year and I would buy another one,

CarMax OmahaReviews
CarMax Omaha review
My mother and I went to Carmax with the intention of doing a trade-in with our 2007 Chrysler Town & Country. We wanted to downsize on the amount of vehicles that we owned and had discussed the possibility of purchasing a new car for next year. We worked with a sales consultant by the name of Mike Snyder, who was very friendly and helpful! In a few hours we were able to sell the van and use the rest of the money to purchase another car that was within our price range, dependable, and roomy. Mike didn't try to get us to purchase a vehicle that was "out of our range" or anything that would've required us to pay "out of our pocket." He was straight-forward and honest; my mother and I had dreaded the idea of meeting a typical car salesman who tries to get a lot of money out of their client. We've purchased vehicles from Carmax before and we're glad that we did it again! We'll be back to trade-in our other vehicle, but it was an exciting and fruitful experience!
2024 Subaru Outback review
This is the eleventh Subaru I have owned, the third outback; the Outback wilderness is by far the best performer of all of the others I have had. I have been happy with subarus from the first one I bought a 1978 Brat; sure wish i still had it.

2016 Subaru Outback review
The 2016 Subaru Outback is the first car I'd ever bought brand new, and I haven't been disappointed since it was purchased 7 years ago. It's very reliable, fun to drive, easy on gas, easy on maintenance and easy on the eyes. Will do it all over again when I make my next Subaru purchase!

Blake and Travis got me in an '86 Corvette Convertible. This is a dream. Blake drove me around because I was so shaky with excitement. He was so nice and calming. We had a nice conversation and took his time working with me. Travis made the paperwork process smooth and easy and quick!!! I hope they know what this means to me.
2024 Subaru Forester review
the forester sport is very reliable get 26 mpg on most of my daily commutes. Drives great in the winter (even though I have the same tires they came with). Traveling in it on road trips are great, 31 mpg using the cruise control and lane assist. It's not a very fast SUV but it honestly worth it. I tend to speed, but it's not something that actually bothers me. I was worried it would be too sluggish. I picked the forester for my road trips, and extra stuff I drive with.

Audi Omaha review
Our Experience with the Purchase of a New Audi Q3 at Audi Omaha We recently purchased the new Audi Q3 at Audi Omaha in Omaha, NE. and could not be happier. The moment we stepped into the dealership we were impressed. What truly set our experience apart, however, was the exceptional service we received from Greg McDonald, who assisted us throughout the entire process. Greg was friendly, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. He spent a great deal of time with us, listened to what features we sought , thoroughly explained everything and answered all our questions in a way that made us confident about our decision. Never once did we feel rushed or pressured. Financial arrangements were made after we had made our decision on the model , options and color. This too proved to be very fair and seamless. On the day of delivery, Greg again walked us thru all systems of the Q3, integrated our cell phones to the automobile and adjusted preferences for each driver. Our purchase has been a very pleasant experience with Audi Omaha. Thank You to the folks at Audi Omaha. We highly recommend them. And ask for Greg. JJL/MJL
2018 Subaru Forester review
Great value considering the superior safety features, low maintenance and reliability. Rear wheel bearings have been replaced twice and just had the AC compressor and serpentine belt replaced. Albeit expensive repairs, all cars need something after the first 3 years. It's been 8 years and the car still run and drives like new.

My experience in finding my new car at Baxter Volkswagen was very good one. Jason was my salesman. I so appreciate how he handled things from start to finish! My decision of going with new or certified pre-owned was a hard one. Jason was so patient helping me to look at all the possibilities. He truly made it an easier experience for me as this was my first time of dealing with buying a car after having recently lost my husband. Thank you Jason and thank you Baxter Volkswagen of LA Vista. 👍Thumbs up to you all!
2021 Subaru Forester review
Other than battery replacement , car has been amazing ! 1 exception cup holders are located too far aft and require driver to look down to locate cup without removing eyes from road ! This issue has been partially addressed in later years by offsetting passengers holder slightly forward of drivers, but still awkward position ! both should be more forward nearer to dash !
