2023 Cadillac Escalade review
Test drove several models and found that the Platinum Luxury model was fitting for me since I didn't like the sport models all blacked out. The 2023 model is very classy looking yet gives you the presidential feel from the inside. Worth the money to see it turns heads!

2022 Volvo XC90 review
I truly can not say enough good things about my new 2022 Volvo XC90 T6. I have admired the Volvo SUVs from afar as a minivan mom for 15 years and this was my year to make the move. No turning back; it is sporty, classy, comfortable, safe, I could go on forever. Classic black and dark brown interior. The info center takes a bit to get used to and it seems like there are features everywhere so definitely just hop on you tube to figure them all out at your own pace because the sales person will tell you, but no way you can get them all down. One of my ultimate favorites are the rotating fog lights. As you turn the lights turn with your vehicle. Lane assist is not for me; I've been driving too long to have it as it seems overbearing. 360 camera and all of the warnings are great though because you never know who is barreling down through the parking lot. Narrowed it to the 2023 Honda Pilot and 2022 MDX Technology; got tired of waiting on the Pilot and frankly it was a bit too big and the MDX just didn't have the sporty look I wanted. I feel like with the Volvo I got it all!

2021 Tesla Model Y review
The moment I got the demo car onto the highway, I thought to myself, “I LOVE this car!” Which rarely happens. VW of Akron is highly recommended my wife and me; this is truly a five star dealership. You definitely need to visit them when looking for a vehicle. The whole car exploration and buying process is stress free and so different from what we’ve had been accustomed to. I am definitely keeping VW of Akron high on my list for future buys. Each of the staff we met are honest, open, friendly, patient, professional and knowledgeable. We met primarily with Ammar, who sincerely listened to our situation and then provided us with a VW ID.4 to drive freely and unaccompanied around Akron. (BTW, we found the ID.4 is very comfortable inside, rides well, is well built and performs well). Upon our return to the dealership, after hearing our thoughts, Ammar spent several hours providing details and answering questions regarding the ID.4 to ensure we were comfortable with proceeding. After telling him we would like to proceed, he worked hard with his manager, Matt, to find the car with options which we wanted (VW Corp had just that day shutdown factory ordering of The ID.4). When our ID.4 arrived, there was some confusion regarding our choice of equipment options (‘what we thought we were getting vs what was there). The manager, Matt voluntarily stepped in and said he would take care of the problem without our incurring any cost. In talking with him, ‘found him to be a good, reputable guy and apparent good leader (rather than just a manager). So, ‘on to paying and paper signing (usually this part the really raises my ire). We met with AJ who told us about various payment methods in addition to what my wife and I had earlier explained and wanted. AJ came up with a good plan to save us money over what we had originally considered doing. After that AJ presented us with the usual dealer provided/applied optional amenities (I thought, here we go - you know, the often high pressure arguments - ‘the ”You really need this” items’ - (to be clear, at other places, not VW Akron); ‘these are such items as additional sound deadening, lifetime muffler bearing grease jobs and/ or insurance protection against flying saucer attack – maybe I exaggerate just a bit but you know what I mean). However, AJ started off indicating what they offer was just for our consideration – no pressure. Well, first note that, his offers were for reasonable items (‘no T-Rex repellent). But then, I really didn’t want any of the offers and there was neither badgering nor debating as I declined them. Much Kudos to AJ. On the day of pickup, Ammar, in typical character, brought our car out and first spent a good bit of time looking it over and checking it out to make sure all was right. He then sat with my wife in the car (it’s her primary vehicle) for a good while to make sure she understood all the controls and functions. I also want to say that I met with several others of the people in parts and service; all exhibited the same honesty, friendliness and professionalism as Ammar, AJ and Matt. Bottom line - you would be hard pressed to find a better dealership or buying experience; do yourself a favor & stop in when you’re looking for a car. Rick
2021 Volkswagen Atlas review
Overall I'm satisfying with the car I have no issue till now the car is running 55,000 mile over, still I don't have any major problem. The space is huge inside that car that is more satisfying even if you sit in the third row and adult person can sit comfortably.

2021 Jeep Wrangler review
I have a 2021, 2 door, Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Is it a decent vehicle - yes. Is it for everyone? Probably not. But if you like to drive with the roof off, don't mind bouncing around on the road a little bit....and it is bouncing around, ok with the wind noise, then this is the vehicle for you. The V6 engine is decent. Do the maintenance and it will be fine long term. I have the manual transmission. Works fine and makes it more enjoyable to drive. It is a very nimble vehicle, no problem on the highway, comfortable, and the noise is not that bad when travelling. Is it a vehicle I would drive in bitterly cold winters and icy roads - I am in Canada where winter is winter and -40 is real....nope I would not. However there are thousands of people around here that do. This vehicle is an acquired taste with a variety of uses, applications, and lots of strengths. Does it have many weaknesses - no not really. But you need to be sure why you have it, accept its nuances - which are not that bad, and enjoy it!! It is a fun vehicle to have especially in the summer when the sun is blazing!!!

2024 Volkswagen Atlas review
Traded my 23 Atlas SE Technology V6 for the 24 SEL R-Line premium. This SUV is fantastic, a great value, reliable and the performance of the turbo 4 engine is excellent and most impressive. I've driven Volkswagen's for years and this one hasn't disappointed. Advice to Volkswagen, bring back the TDI!

2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport review
I had a 2014 Autobiography Firenz red with black and pimento interior. Absolutely loved the car, 150k and the only issue was the rear differential%. Pricy to fix but well worth it and any car with this many miles would expect similar repair. Have a 2019 supercharged with in Byron Blue metallic and tan and black interior, ordered with many of the Autobiography features, not one problem with regular maintenance. Will definitely purchase an EV version next. Absolutely the best car series I have owned, previous Mercedes, BMW and Jaguar. Not easy on the pocketbook, but if you don’t mind the extra expense, well worth every penny!

2015 Acura RDX review
Love this car I live in Minnesota and plow snow In the winter.. We recently had a bad snowfall dropping over a foot of hard wet snow. I've never had any issues with unplowed roads and drifts. This vehicle get me there safely ever time..

2022 Cadillac Escalade review
I purchased a used 2021 model Sport and after being very impressed sold it in order to get a 2022 Sport with Super Cruise, which I absolutely love. I love all of the new technology, with the exception of Apple Car Play. I had a 2016 prior to this generation and was surprised that the gas mileage is actually better on the newer one. The ride is the best ever.

2021 Acura RDX review
Best vehicle Acura has made in last 15 years. Test drive an RDX Advance SHAWD package on sport mode for 15-20 mins and you’ll be sold. Beautiful airy cabin with pano, and the ELS sound system is killer! 2.0 turbo engine + 10 speed trans are bulletproof. Have my RDX Advance for 2 years now and will enjoy it for at least another 5 years. These are made to last, much like my 2006 TL that I have for over a decade, with 200k+ troublefree miles on the clock.

2023 Hyundai TUCSON review
I've had this vehicle limited fwd edition over a year now and it's still awesome as the first day I bought it. Smoother ride and quieter ride than the Honda CRV or the Toyota RAV4. I love that it has GDI and multiport injection which the competition does not. I also love that it has a regular transmission and not a CVT. This vehicle comes with all the luxuries my old Cadillacs had plus a lot more features. This car has plenty of pick up and go. You just have to learn to push down on the accelerator not punch it. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the small SUV class. Cause believe me I test drove them all, and this was by far the quietest smoothest ride and most comfortable car that I test drove.

I purchased this car at the end of June 2025 and currently have only 5,000 miles on it. So far I love the Land Cruiser. The interior is very nice, but not especially plush. It is comfortable. The LC handles well, but I haven't taken it off-road, nor have I had to deal with difficult weather conditions. The drawbacks that I see are that it requires premium gas, does not get especially good gas mileage, and the gas tank is small for the size of the vehicle. I have no regrets in buying this vehicle.
