2023 Mazda CX-50 review
Have the 2025 CX-50 in white premium addition. Often think whether I should have bought the turbo as I wish I had some more power, but I didn’t want to give our insurance a reason to hike rates. It gets the job done and in style. Interior is nicely finished but I’ve experienced many little rattles from instrument cluster, A pillar, mounted Bose speakers, etc. lots of felt tape was needed to mitigate. Technology is the major con here. Constantly have to reconnect Bluetooth so I just plug it in now all the time. Wireless phone charger never works - it overheats seemingly after two minutes and stops working. At times the tailgate buttons seem to get confused and don’t know what you’re asking it to do. And the way the doors all lock / unlock together can be frustrating and I’ve learned that it depends on how many times you hit the disarm / unlock button on the key fob. Finally, memory seats never worked since buying it new, and I’m too lazy to bring it in all day for that. I like the car but I’m not sure I’ll get into another one after my time is up with it.

My 2021 highlander L I paid $27k @ 44k miles ih for it after 2 years taking it through ell & adding 50k miles (92k miles currently) im impressed by its 300 hp 3.4L engine but learned how important changing all fluild begor it starts to making noise and problems. I think as long as you change all fluids at by or before 90 k miles as milage it will continue to goFor 300,000 miles crossed finger . The dealer offered me 19k to trade in at this stage. 2022 Ford Edge review
I purchased the titanium awd edge which came with 20 inch wheels and the ride was a bit rough. I had a 2016 with 18 inch wheels and it was very smooth. I found a set of 18 inch original ford wheels, purchased new tires and now it rides like a dream. It´s quiet, handles well, the interior is a bit dated, but has all the tech and safety I need. I compared the X3 and Q5, but the Edge had a lower price and was loaded. Not a single problem since I bought it, just regular service and one recall that was fixed while I waited at the dealer. I highly recommend it.

2022 Ford Explorer review
I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

2017 Subaru Outback review
I went from owning a 2003 Monte Carlo SS to a 2017 Subaru Outback. It was worth every penny. My Subaru is not only reliable, functional, and cute; it also saved me from being injured in a bad crash. This past fall a six point buck hit my car head on and I never saw it coming. It was a fatal crash for the deer, but not for me. As heartbroken as I was to see my car crumpled on the front, I was so glad it wasn't me. It was a repairable fix and made me really appreciate my car.

2020 Nissan Murano review
I recently bought a 2020 AWD SL Murano and am very impressed with the interior space, seat comfort and list of standard features of this car. I was considering MB GLE and Lexus GX350 as well and think I clearly got a great value with the Murano. I also think the maintenance and repair costs will be less than a German alternative.

2025 Honda CR-V review
The CRV is a luxury mid size hatchback. Smooth riding, handles well in Michigan’s winter weather 🤒. Good miles per gallon. I do drive in economy mode. I am still getting used to the size after driving a Honda Odessy. Good overall view. No obvious blind spots. I wish it had a manual garage opener feature on on the Ex.

This was the best experience I've ever had with a dealership. My sales associate AJ, was truly an expert on not only the vehicle that he showed me, but on the company as a whole. He was able to demonstrate how to use all the fancy safety features and explain what they did, and answer any questions I had with confidence. He was so friendly with both my daughters, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable. AJ was very open and honest about all the different dealership fees that would add on to the total purchase price, and explained what they all were. He was quick to respond to any messages, and did a great job of keeping my needs and wants for the vehicle in mind when showing me different options. They gave me a good offer on my trade in, even though it was less than I owed on the vehicle. He and his manager Paul were even willing to come up on the trade in offer, but my vehicle has a bad accident from the previous owner on the carfax. Paul explained his reasoning for the offer which came directly from KBB (another dealership tried to offer me $2000 less with no rhyme or reason). I know dealership fees can be frustrating, but I think the fees at Volkswagen Brandon are fair compared to other dealerships in the area. AJ did definitely do his job as a car salesman and try to upset me, offering me finance options for New vehicles, but was completely respectful when I told him we weren't interested in financing or a new vehicle. He didn't keep pushing, instead focusing on trying to get me in a vehicle that fit our budget and that I loved. I absolutely adore my new 2023 Tiguan, and I 100% recommend Volkswagen Brandon for your vehicle needs.
2023 Hyundai KONA review

This is the third Ford dealership I have had experience with and was by far the best. Everyone I worked with was very friendly and helpful, they didn't hide any of the fees and were straight forward with the price the quoted(actually wound up being a little cheaper than their initial quote!) And helped me out with getting an explorer foe my family. This was also while I was juggling 3 kids under 5 with a stroller. All in all great experience and I would definitely recommend them.
2022 Hyundai SANTA FE review
Bought it use with 70k miles on it recently. I looks almost showroom new. I figured if it hasn't gone bad yet, I should have no major issues. I love the tech and comfort and gas mileage is so so, but you can't have everything and at the price of 16K it was well worth it. Love this car and hope to get a good 200K miles out of it. One note is that it never left flordia so it didn't get all that salt from the roads in the winter. After looking at the new ones, I'll take the 2022 over the 2025 or 2026 any day!

2019 Jeep Compass review
In my many years of car driving and ownership, I have rarely had a better vehicle than my 2019 Jeep Compass Latitude. It has been reliable, comfortable, fun to drive and, for its' size and type, very good on gas. In April, I will have been driving "Lattie"for 5 years. My upkeep has been minimal. She is pretty and still looks new. This vehicle is such a pleasure to drive. Handling and response are excellent. Controls are super easy to manage and absolutely love the heated seat and steering wheel. On a long trip, it is very comfortable (yes, I have ridden in the back seat, too) and fuel economy was just great...fully loaded with air-conditioner on and travelling at highway speeds gave me 30+ mpg. Really can't complain. My Neon didn't do any better. This is a great vehicle. Oh, and I had leased it new, and purchased it when the lease was up..that's how good this car is!

I recently purchased a 2025 Infiniti QX80 at an excellent price. Even at full price, it offers good value in the full-size luxury SUV market. After one month, here's my assessment. Strengths **Styling**: The QX80 features elegant exterior and interior design that outshines most competitors. The Navigator's redesign was disappointing, while the Wagoneer lacks refinement. Only the Escalade matches its presence, though with a more aggressive look. **Value**: Infiniti's current market position creates pricing advantages. Feature-for-feature, the QX80 is thousands less than competitors across all trims. **Powertrain**: The twin-turbo 3.5L V6 delivers smooth power through a 9-speed transmission. I'm averaging 20-21 mpg in mixed driving (better than EPA estimates), though it requires premium fuel. **Comfort**: Ride quality and noise isolation are excellent for a body-on-frame vehicle. The air suspension mitigates most harshness from the 22" wheels. **Handling**: It drives more like a midsize SUV, handling mountain roads with unexpected confidence. Only the pricier Escalade V offers better dynamics. **Space**: Dimensions match standard Navigator and Escalade while exceeding the Lexus LX. The third row comfortably fits adults with easy access, and cargo space is generous, especially with seats folded. **Towing**: All models can tow 8,500 pounds, above segment average. Only Wagoneer models with Hemi V8s offer more. Weaknesses **No Homelink**: Inexplicably lacks the standard garage door opener system. Instead uses "myQ," requiring compatible equipment and Wi-Fi. It works roughly 20% of the time for closing, 50% for opening. **Missing Trailer Brake Controller**: Despite strong towing capacity and pre-wiring, it lacks this essential safety feature that the cheaper Nissan Armada includes standard. **No Rear Sunshades**: A premium family vehicle should include this feature, common in less expensive SUVs. **Limited Storage**: Few interior storage options beyond a modest console and small pass-through. 2024 Kia EV6 review
I own a 2024 EV6 Wind AWD (traded in a 2012 Subaru Legacy Limited) and it’s probably the best car I’ve ever owned. And it can go 0-60mph in under 4½ seconds, which is on a par with some of my dream cars (Ferrari and Lamborghini from a few decades ago). Charging at home with a $150 charger that plugs into a regular power outlet is quick and adds power to the battery as I sleep. I have a YouTube channel where I post occasional videos, showing what it’s like to own an electric car in your silver-haired years. If you have questions, drop by and ask away.

2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class review
Got my 2015 gla in 2016. Drove it from NJ to DC every week even in the middle of a blizzard.. I feel like it has a more agile power steering. It can fit it anywhere. The ride is smooth and quiet. It’s now 2025, what do you think? I got the mountain grey color. It still shines like new!
