2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
I've owned this for 6+ years. Only 18,300 miles. So, not what I expected when I bought it. I anticipated driving to many hot air balloon events across the country. But, then COVID and work from home. Now retired. No need to drive a lot. I've ensured that all maintenance is done as needed (maybe more often than needed). Other than a minor parking lot ding (not even a note apologizing), it's pristine. Side note: my dealership really wants this as a trade-in. But, I'm not seeing the advantage.

2024 Volkswagen Atlas review

2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
The 2019 Grand Cherokee Limited was the Jeep I had my eye on for a while. I've owned a 2012 Laredo X, and a 2018 Limited Anniversary/Heritage Edition. I was specifically looking for Limited trim without the 20" rims, although, I love the look of the Altitude versions, I just didn't really care/want to deal with less side-wall, nicer-looking rims. I avoided the Overland and Trailhawk because of the air-suspension. Overall the interior is fine, it's comfortable and familiar for me, since I've owned them before, but that's also the only issue/complaint I would have. The interior is updated from the 2012, however, basically it's a very light update, U-Connect, Gauges, Shifter, and possibly a few other items here and there. But essentially, the dashboard is the same dashboard I've seen since 2012. While owning the previous (2) I never experienced any mechanical issues that left me stranded. One had a weird issue with blowing lights in the tailgate, but it would just randomly decide to burn out, replace one it would blow another. No other major issues. The 2019 leather on the steering wheel feels smooth and buttery like they always have. The suspension feels great, still solid and tight. Brakes are strong and grippy, pedal feel is nice and firm. So far I'm super satisfied with this Jeep, I got the perfect combination of all the features I wanted, Memory Seats, Sunroof, power trunk, heated-seats and wheel. Not sure if I'd be willing to sell this one and get a newer model, but, I'd possibly get another WK2.

2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
2017 GC Limited 4WD. Bought it 3 years ago with 53k miles and now approaching 108k miles. When we bought it, we went to fill the tank for the first time and the gas pump kept shutting off. Turns out there was a known issue with the fuel filler neck assembly. The selling dealer replaced it under warranty and we literally didn't have another issue until 100k miles. At 100k miles took it in for new spark plugs, which is normal maintenance, and found the radiator leaking. The new radiator was not cheap. Have not had any other issues, just replaced the factory original brakes, they made it almost to 108k! We live in Minnesota and this vehicle is an absolute beast in the snow. Put it in snow mode and it is very stable and feels unstoppable. It is a comfortable long distance cruiser and gets decent mileage on the highway, between 24-27mpg. The UConnect system is very easy to use, and the nav is pretty good, but the whole system operates quite slowly. That's a minor complaint I think. Overall we are pretty happy with our WK2.

2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV review
Bought the CX-90 in early Feb. 2024 and immediately drove across the country and back. No issues at all. After 4,000 miles, the actual performance was consistent with all of the video reviews. Very comfortable interior with high end feel.Apple Car Play worked seamlessly with GPS system Waze. Hands free controls was smooth and prompt. PHEV experience was solid. Love the charging prioritization feature while driving. Takes about 2 hours on the highway to reach a full charge so that at destination you can operate on EV mode. At home, Level 1 charge takes about 10 hours (overnight) Wish the 26 mile EV range was more like 50 but maybe in future models. Combined MPG with 98% highway driving on the road trip was 25.5 mpg. Overall, so far so good. Vey happy with the purchase.

2024 Nissan Murano review
We just traded our 2020 for a 2024 Murano. We particularly like the exterior looks, design and chrome. Interior is stylish, comfortable and functional. Our 2020 did not require anything other than oil changes and tire rotation. Murano is the only model we have bought twice. Crown Nissan is a fantastic dealership. I recently purchased a Nissan Juke from Mossy Nissan Escondido. They were super patient and gave us a good price without any effort, as well as a fair trade in value. I enjoyed dealing with the sales manager Jason, he was very up front about everything and doesn't play games. He's also very honest and says it like it is, we enjoyed his humor through the process. The sales people are very friendly and eager to help even when another dealer will be getting the commision. Our original sales person, Ramez Deeb, has greeted us every time I've seen him and helped us any way he could every single time. I pre-ordered a second car from Nissan, and George Barouta at Mossy Escondido went above and beyond showing me the cars, taking measurements, and helping any way he could. He put no pressure on me and was super easy to deal with. Mossy Escondido was the best experience I've had at a dealership ever! Unfortunately Nissan (Not Mossy) took forever to send my car and when I ended up selling my current car, I had to go to another dealership (since I could no longer wait for the car with trim I wanted). It was then I realized how different the experience can be and just how good Mossy Nissan Escondido is. The other dealer promised the world and then tried to rip me off, I had to walk out the door with my cash offer before they ran out and eventually got close enough that I didn't drive away without a car, and then only because I had checked every other dealer around 3 counties and knew this was the only one with my car. I've only had one service so far with Mossy Escondido and it was great, supper fast service by appointment, they washed the car and detailed the tires for free with the great priced service.

2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV review
I really do love my CX-90 PHEV but, as anyone will tell you as an early owner of a brand new model of anything, there are kinks to work out. I can get most of my driving done on battery without having to transition to the gas engine which is awesome. The amount of time it takes to charge is not awesome. I would schedule all of my charging to happen late at night when power is cheapest but the charger it comes with takes 11 hours to fully charge. I bought a level 2 charger which takes closer to 8 hours. An improvement but not what I was hoping for. The infotainment system randomly but consistently disconnects from my phone without explanation or warning. It reconnects quickly but it is very annoying. Finally, the engine will sometimes have hiccups when I'm driving on either engine. I will feel a weird surge of power which worries me a bit. Other than not being able to get the color I wanted (I was told "soul red" isn't popular on larger, "mom" cars) I am very happy with the car. It is stylish, fits my whole family very comfortably, and it was a wonderful upgrade from my 2020 CX-5 (which I also LOVED). I can't wait to see what the future holds with PHEV vehicles. What a wonderful bridge between gas and electric - makes it feel totally reliable!

2020 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport review
I drive Uber 8urs and I have a 2018 Atlas's 2.0 getting 27 mpg having driving 3yrs this SUV is best thing I've ever had great driving UBER and very consistent jdt unbelievable SUV 187,000 miles , best vehicle I've ever owned!!!!

2022 Subaru Ascent review
Purchase our Ascent June of 2022 ,love the vehicle it now has little over 44,000 miles on it put new tires on at 29,000 not because of wear but for long trips,brakes are still in great shape at last inspection,we are retired but travel with our dog companion,this car has traveled to New Mexico across to Florida and to Florida every winter and also to Maine and the comfort is just fantastic and our overall gas mileage is twenty five MPG and yes when and if we need to trade it will be another Subaru!

2023 INFINITI QX60 review
I have a 2023 brand new off show room floor an my windshield has been leaking water from outside when it rains extremely hard outside had to take it back within 1 month of having it an they kept it for 70 + they replaced the windshield only for it to happen this year again this is not a good look for infiniti the service department say my car is the 5th car to have issues with water leaking from windshield

2023 Hyundai SANTA FE review
I have owned or leased about 12 new Hyundais and about 40 new cars in my lifetime. As I am getting on in years and don’t drive that much I think this will be the last car I will own. That said, I am more satisfied with this car than I have ever owned. The only thing that I am not happy with is the push button transmission. I much prefer the conventional shift lever. If something should happen to this car, I would replace it with another exactly like this one. A niggling point is the placement of the charging pad. It is easy to lose something down there but can be retrieved with a shop vac. No big deal.

2024 Ford Edge review
7 Ford Edges and the 2024 is rock solid yet quiet and great performance. Everyone wants to use the Edge when we go anywhere. The controls are easy to use for non distracted driving. Long road trips are un eventful and tires last forever. Loading space in the rear is flat easy and lots of space. Good visibility and safe.

2024 Cadillac XT6 review
No issues and it is much better than electric cars. Safer and much less expensive to own. Also much more convenient for normal driving .Not weekly range anxiety as I had when I owned an electric car. Never buy electric again.
