2005 Toyota 4Runner Limited V8… Purchased as new from dealer in Ohio in 2005. Currently has 200,000 miles on odometer. Enjoyed every mile! Due to Ohio winters and salty roads - the suspension has been replaced, section of frame replaced, wheels pitted. Will be due for another timing belt change (expensive due to complexity). Excellently maintained by a local Toyota mechanic. It is my hope that this vehicle will last another 200,000 miles. The only negative is the 18mpg around town.

Amazing SUV! I love it... 285K miles and going strong. 2 teenagers have learned to drive on it and it's now 20 years old. Bought it new off the let and never regretted it. Only the paint is starting to fail on the hood. Even took it to the Middle East for two years on a move there. Still gets decent mileage if I drive it carefully. Truly awesome and looking to buy an older 4runner like it for my kids as they head off to college.

The BEST SUV Transportation vehicle that I have ever had, typical Toyota quality with the typical maintenance costs. BEWARE the TRD Edition of when a strut goes bad....THOUSANDS OF $$$ TO REPAIR, NOT JUST REPLACE A STRUT !!!!..HOWEVER, MY MISTAKE, I purchased this to replace a Chevy Tahoe that pulls a trailer....this IS NOT a replacement for such. It is a 6 cylinder SUV for a family NOT A WORK TRUCK.

AAG recently acquired a new lot so I was a little confused about the location but it worked out. I purchased this 4Runner new, have only driven it moderatelybut far back into rarely ever traveled areas — definitelyfar away from any crowds. I do all maintenance myself, and there is extremely little of that. I have only replaced the original battery once. It handles very well in all situations. I did and strongly do recommend getting the factory high quality stabilizer system. Mine is a 4x4 Trail Edition and I ever so greatful for that. That provides truly complete 4 wheel drive but only when needed. Being a car mechanic when young, a Marine Colonel and a retired Professor of Plasma physics and Quantum Electrodynamics, I carefully studied all vehicles and options far in advance. The Toyota V-6 engine is famous for its extreme durability as is every part of the vehicle. I did, as a possibly excessive caution, replaced the perfectly good radiator with a larger, no–plastic radiator possessing far better transmission cooler. Also being a private airplane pilot for over 65 years, I have long ago learned to be pro-active rather than reactive. Silicone hoses and best quality German full synthetic oil in engine, transmission and both differentials. The European oil standards are far beyond American and aggressive testing has proven that beyond any doubt. I have also replaced the cheapy passenger car tires and wheels with full beadlock, wider, negative offset wheels (all 5) with Toyo 8-ply rated 275/75–17" tires (34"), improved the factory shocks with King 2-¾" shocks & springs, et al. Yes, I also designed & built high quality fore & aft stainless steel bumpers to carry an 10mt hydraulic winch and double swing out locking rear bumper to carry 3 20 liter NATO gas cans, high lift jack, 4 traction panels and the oversized spare tire. The driving and riding quality is genuinely wonderful. This vehicle will out live both my equally fantastic wife and myself, as well as the next series of owners. Just nothing ever goes wrong with it (full skid plates help). To date, I have never known of a more practical, pleasant, reliable vehicle, and we have gone to some very 'dicey' places without any fear of getting stuck or damaged. I honestly have never even heard of any vehicle remotely as reliable and comfortable even for long trips as the 4Runner. I had a 1987 4Runner but the 4 cylinder engine, while excellent, was just not powerful enough, although I did much prefer the standard 5 speed manual transmission over the current automatic transmission. In approximately 400,000 miles over 27 years, I only replaced the battery twice.

I am a first time buyer and at the start it was hectic but good thing was I was able to negotiate with Richard and Ak. They also found me an affordable insurance and was able to get the car I wanted at the end of the day. They were very patient and helpful. They accepted me very quickly even with poor credit. I absolutely LOVE my 2014 trail edition! Comfortable and beautiful! Have had it several years with regular maintenance and cannot imagine driving anything else. It’s very reliable and a true head turner.

I own a 2003 4 Runner V6 SR5 and I have 654,000 Kms on it and still drives like new....basic maintenance...great SUV and great in harsh winters up here in Canada. If your looking to spend around 10K this would be the best vehicle for you.

The 4Runner was a great car and lasted up to 218k. Did had a couple issues here and there, but other than that, it had never let me down.

J’ai possédé plusieurs 4x4: Suzuki sj 410(2), jeep cherokke(2) jeep grand cherokke(1) Toyota 4runner. Je suis du type conservateur, j’use mes vehicules a leurs limites. J’ai mon Toyota depuis 12 ans. Et il n’a pas eu la vie facile, mon boulot exige de faire beaucoup de offroad. Il a 250,000 milles au compteur. 2 amortisseurs, un bout de silencieux(laissé dans une trail) 1 cardan,c’est tout. Le reste est de l’entretien normal. Je suis pas sur de vivre assez longtemps pour le voir mort. Quand on met dans la balance le cout d’acquisition, les réparations, l’entretien, l’essence, il est le plus économiques des véhicules que j’ai possédé. Oui, l’intérieur est un peu défraîchi, j’ai un boulot salop. Mais, il se comporte comme il y a 12 ans. Je n’ai aucune inquiétude à faire encore du hors piste, il est encore super fiable. Toyota offre ici un produit que je qualifie de hors norme, c’est un char d’assaut. Indestructible.

Vehicle came Va inspected, was super clean upon delivery, no issues whatsoever. Highly recommend the dealership as they seem like nice guys, reputable and delivered what they promised.

Bought the 03 w 22,000 miles, "J' Vin #, sports V8 pkg w runner boards, sunroof, tinted glass, heated seats, rack on top, it's a work horse that won't quit me. The room & comfort of the seats~excellent & the heavy weight of the vehicle helped me cope w the winds in the desert when I lived out there. The design is relevant today, and, as much as I support EV cars & innovation, it will be very hard to retire my 03 4Runner Ltd V8.

Perfect car. 2006 v6 on 33 inch wheels with no tune for those wheels and it runs like a dream. 230k miles with mostly highway miles and she purrs like it’s off the lot. It’s fast for being a fourrunner with jeep wheels and even outperforms my friends jeep with the same spec. Ultimate stock off-roader and will get you everywhere

1996 sr5 4×4 I got the 4runner after my dad past away 2 years ago it's now has 321930 original miles only problem that I have with it is the front suspension my dad was give the car by his friend in 1996 with under 2000 miles on it and drove it easy over the years me not so much but with that being said my dad only did routine maintenance to is I just changed breaks for first time in it about 6 months ago now the inside of it is a little rough and it's had timing belt changed once in it. Toyota did a really great job on this 4runner I will never sell or stop driving it it one of the best and most reliable one I have ever had I would love to like to get all new but still factory font end put on but u know how it is when u have 4 kids but all in all it's is a wonderful vehicle.

This 2008 is my 4th 4Runner it just clocked over 211,000 miles if you maintain them they will last a long time. I also have a 1998 with 183,450 miles it was in a garage for ten years only driven a few times a month. They are both great vehicles and I purchased both new, I’ll pass to 98 on to my grandson once he can start driving in 12 years.

I have a 2005 Toyota 4Runner with over 428,000 and she's still going strong and rides as smooth as the day I brought her home from the dealer. She still has her original transmission and engine. I'm hoping to make it to 500,000 later this year.

EJ went above and beyond to ensure everything was right with my 2005 Honda CRV (even dipping into his commission to make last minute replacements). The 4 runner is a great car. I have a ‘03 SR5 4wd. My dad owns the car for almost 10 years and last year when i got my license he handed the keys to me. The car has about 307000 miles now and still runs perfect. The gas milage is bad, i get 13 mpg, but i drive it a little sporty. The engine is very powerful, i drive the V6. I dont have any engine problems. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who is looking for a reliable and big car for „low“ budget.
