I could not believe that I was able to get my deal done for my brand new 2017 Corolla. Shelby Marie Motyka and Cheryl King made it happen and created a buying situation that was all good for me and my wife. I was very very happy as was my wife with how easy and great the process went. Went in with our white Corolla and drove out with our new Barcelona Red Corolla.

Wish you could clone Chris! He does everything with such positivity and follow through. Germain Toyota never disappoints !
2024 Toyota Corolla review
It is a Corolla so don't expect a Lexus. Many nice features like keyless operation, auto headlights and parking brake. Human Factors design is terrible. The center display has a lot of good information, but in font so small it is distracting to try and read it while driving. When you engage cruise control, a warning in small print legalese appears for several seconds, blanking out your speed and telling you not to take your eyes off the road. Of course if you want to read the warning, you cannot see the road. Other feature that is annoying is the assumption that if anything like a coat or a book are on the back seat, you must have left a small child in the car so it beeps repeatedly when you lock the car and then sends you a text that there is something in the back seat. Oil is 0W-8 so don't expect to do your own oil change as it is not generally available in stores. The ride is comfortable for an economy car and it is reasonably quiet. If you love AndroidAuto, you will like the interface, if you don't like it, well, Toyota does not give you any other option that is easy to use. There are 2 cupholders, a small glovebox, and a very small center console compartment. No other storage. No place for a small box of Kleenex, no place to store sunglasses.

On a Wednesday I went to Germain Toyota, after checking in I went to see Chris. As we walked up to each other I was greeted with a smile and hey what’s up . I bought the car in I think there maybe a leak in the cooling system. We say down and talk about the Portal in front of my car in the garage. Chris immediately wrote it up gave it over to service and said Jim it’s gonna be about an hour hour and a half when it comes back. I’ll make sure that we will find out what’s going on sure enough in a hour and half Chris good news they could not find anything wrong with your. Chris show me the video of what the Tech took and I was well satisfied with Chris and the service tech that did all the fine work thanks, Chris

Gene Norman Auto Sales is the place to go if you want to buy a vehicle! Greg was our salesman and he was awesome! We knew what we wanted when we went in there, but we didn't like the price and they worked with us, and then afterward they helped us get financing and everything went so smoothly we were really impressed!! I recommend if you need a car for your kid or for yourself or for work that you go to Gene Gorman Auto Sales in Punta Gorda and they have other locations too but we like the one in Punta Gorda! I will definitely be back there to buy another vehicle when I'm ready. Thank you Greg!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Ellena and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. From the moment I walked in, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the vehicles on the lot. She took the time to understand my needs and preferences, helping me find the perfect car that fit my budget. What stood out the most was her honesty and transparency throughout the entire process; she answered all my questions and provided detailed information without any pressure to buy. The paperwork was straightforward, and she ensured I understood every step. I truly appreciated her dedication to making the experience enjoyable. I highly recommend Ellena if you're looking for a trustworthy and professional car saleswoman!

2024 Toyota Corolla review
Mine is an American made LE. It was bought at a time when very few stripped-down models were available. Using Toyota's parts website, I paid about 1/3 the price for options like the bumper protector, door edge guards, door trim, mud guards and all weather mats. True, it's got cheap materials and Toyota skipped even putting an engine cover to quiet it up (although, in Southern California, the engine cover can retain heat that's not as beneficial as it would be in a place further north). Regularly reaches 37 MPG combined short trips and 20-mile commutes. Longer freeway drives easily goes over 42 MPG. One of the most surprising things about this car is the OEM tires. They are solid, they maintain their air pressure over many months, unlike my friends' who also have bought new Toyotas and half much less consistent tires. The car is regularly parked outside with sun exposure and the exterior seems to hold up okay after 2 years. I did do a break-in oil change at 500 miles and I do oil changes at 5,000 miles. I need this car to last me a long time and the Toyota recommended service intervals will not lead to longevity. There are many Toyota experts who encourage even shorter intervals between oil changes based on Southern California severe driving standards. Too much traffic is considered severe driving. Something else, if this car were bought 55 miles South, in Mexico, the grade of oil would be very different. In America, 0W-8 is the official oil viscosity. In Tijuana, Baja California, 0W-20 is recommended and 5W-30 is even acceptable further south... On Toyota's own documentation! For the summer oil, I have 0W-16 put in it. The car is near the ocean and never has been exposed to anything near freezing temperatures. My friend helps me maintain the car and he gets a lot of information from a Toyota Master diagnostic technician on YouTube, "A Car Care Nut." As a final note, the optical systems that are used for safety for Toyotas have a service memo stating that their safety systems are only guaranteed if windshield replacements are done with Toyota glass and the devices calibrated with Toyota software. In car insurance, you have to show this information to your insurance company for them to approve the OEM glass and Toyota body shop work. The windshield and calibration easily runs over $2,000. I have seen those windshield companies claim that they calibrate the safety system only for it not to work in a future accident. Be your own best advocate and insist on Toyota glass and calibration. By the way, we also looked at Honda, Nissan and Mitsubishi. The transmissions on the Nissan and the Mitsubishi are garbage, the Honda has so many systems to save fuel that negatively affect the engine, Toyota's reliability is often because they choose not to do risky fuel saving software settings.

2024 Toyota Corolla review
The basic Corolla is a terrific value. The 169 hp non hybrid offers plenty of power and 41 mpg highway. Narrow car fits in my old single car garage. Standard features aplenty satisfy my needs. Safety features a plus. Sportier performance than Car and Driver review gives it credit for. I suggest this lowest price Toyota model is a diamond in the rough. A lot of fun for a modest price.

I came to them looking for my dream car, the Mitsubishi Lancer RalliArt or Evolution on a limited budget. They found the vehicle and brought it in, I bought the vehicle and there were a few problems with it, the guys took the car back no questions asked and found another one, even though there were some other issues that occured the Management staff at Carmax stuck by me and helped me make it happen. Anyone new to the car buying process should go see the team at Carmax, Charleston, as they will guide you through the process and explain it to you the whole way through! That is the way Car Buying should be! Thanks Guys for all you help and hard work! Chris G.

Ted Earl did a great job of ensuring I was happy with my auto purchase. I worked with Ted after taking ownership of the vehicle. Ted walked me through everything pertaining to the vehicle. He was very enthusiastic and personable. He made sure I understood and was comfortable with every item prior to moving to the next item. Ted will one day make a great manager at Acura. I look forward to working with him down the road.

The service guy, name James was great. Had a problem with my breaks he took me back to the mechanic who was going to work on it. (Joe the mechanic)They both Gave me a thorough explanation of the problem, which I thought was unique. Of course, they could have told me anything like “ Hey you need a new Johnson rod” I would have probably said ok. It was my second visit to Gettle service overall excellent experience.

Matt was a pleasant change from the typical high pressure sales person and that made such a difference to me. At the end of the car shopping game I feel I paid a reasonable price for a car that was close to everything I?d hoped for. Fingers crossed it?s an easy own for many years. And if I have questions or problems I?m comfortable stopping by the dealership.

It’s so much nicer when you show up for your appointment and they actually have the part you need available to install. That way the service advisor doesn’t get into a shouting match with you because you’re pissed off that you drove all that way and they didn’t have the part and tell you that you can take your business elsewhere.

I had the pleasure of working with Anna Beltran while my Toyota Tundra was in for maintenance, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, she was extremely professional and delivered world-class customer service. Anna kept me fully informed throughout the entire process, ensuring I knew exactly what was happening with my vehicle every step of the way. Her clear communication, attentiveness, and genuine care made the experience smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated and thorough in their role—Anna truly sets the standard for excellence. Absolutely amazing service adviser and if anyone deserves a raise it's her!
