2021 Toyota Land Cruiser review
There is no other vehicle on the planet that can accommodate our family of 6 + our dog and all our gear. We traveled along the interstate in comfort at speeds of 80mph from Ohio to our western adventures throughout AZ, UT, and CO. We safely tackled trails in each state and had no concerns making it home reliably. No other SUV stacks up to the versatility of this Land Cruise. From the soccer fields to Toroweap Overlook and sooo much more, this SUV is amazing!!! Worth every penny when you use it in every capacity it was intended and built to accomplish!

2021 Toyota Land Cruiser review
It’s a special vehicle. I purchased the Heritage Edition trim new in 2021 and In the age of twin turbo V6 and 4 cylinder engines it’s great to drive this naturally aspirated, buttery smooth V8 with old school tech and Toyota Japan built reliability. Poor MPG and it has its quirks but It’s like driving an overbuilt, well engineered bank vault. Comfortable seats, and nice sound system. Great for off roading and weekend getaways.

2021 Toyota Land Cruiser review
This car goes 0 to 60 in just 6 seconds-so amazing With a state of the art KDSS terrain system and crawl control it can take you anywhere And for the interior design well its a bit outdated when we talk about the infotainment system. And the exterior is okay fora 2021 vehicle but it is one of the best full size suv you would spend over 90 thousand dollars on.

She kept me well informed as to where my paperwork was and who was next to review it. She provided me an approximate time to finish (which was very appreciated). Finally, when the deal was done, she walked me through the features of the new car. A great experience, probably the best I have ever had. I highly recommend Mountain States to anyone looking for a new car.
2024 Toyota Land Cruiser review
Reading some of the reviews here on Cars.com, and I get the impression folks bought the wrong car. This Land Cruiser is perfect. Toyota stripped out luxury, got away from a 90k luxo-barge, and built and off-road SUV. "the ride can be rough/stiff at times"; it's body on frame, for good reason! The suspension articulation, ramp angle, etc... beat the pants of a unibody SUV. "The transmission is jerky..." for a few thousand miles; once it learns your driving style, it smooths out (my '23 Alfa Romeo with the ZF 8-speed did the same thing). Hybrid systems are complex, and once the vehicle learns where you throttle off/on, brake, how firmly you accelerate, it behaves much better. "The hybrid offer rubbish fuel mileage"; first - blame the Federal Govt and CAFE for everyone switching to hybrids. second - if you actually take it off-road, you'll discover the brilliance of having electric motor torque at low speed while crawling... much better low-speed control than even my old LC100 with a V-8. "the interior plastics are cheap"; Toyota made a decision to use long-wearing, durable materials, and keep the cost down, so we could get an excellent off-roader for 55k (a little more than the average selling price of a car in America), instead of 90k (previous gen LC200 luxo-barge). Bottom line, if you want the luxo-barge, get the GX... the V-6 won't work as hard, has a larger tank, it has leather, and a trick suspension that smooths out body-on-frame ride characteristics... if you want a rugged off-roader, without stuff to break, and don't plan on being precious about it... the current gen Land Cruiser is a bargain, checks all the right boxes, and has reliability the Wrangler and Bronco can only dream about.

2016 Toyota Land Cruiser review
I have owned this for 157k miles to date, we have driven cross country multiple times and it has given us ZERO issues. Been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned, and is better in every single way than our previous 2003 Land Cruiser. I love this thing. Only complain is the cheap steering wheel leather that flakes off. I have zero plans to sell our family hauler.

2015 Toyota Land Cruiser review
Primary use for this car: I drive about 30K miles per year from OK to Colorado. This vehicle is comfortable on long trips with kids as well as one of the most capable off-road vehicles ever made. The exterior could be considered a bit outdated or plain, but I love it. There’s nothing else that I’d rather be drive whether it’s on a mountain trail or headed down the turnpike I know that we’ll make it there safe and comfortable.

2005 Toyota Land Cruiser review
I am about to give my 2005 land cruiser to my daughter. It is an excellent car. It has never had one single thing go wrong with it in almost 75,000 miles. Great handling and safety: it might save her life. Excellent perforance and reliability. Great dealer service. Don't appreciate this site's comments about its "excessive" size. It is none of your business what size car readers might want - labelling it "excessive" is opinion, and is an attempt to influence -- it is not fact. If anything the land cruiser is smaller than SUV drivers might want. For the size, it is efficiently designed and roomy. SUV's that are properly designed (that is, not top-heavy) are far safer than cars. Half of all collisions are one-car. As long as there are phone poles, brick walls, delivery vans, 18-wheelers, buses, buildings, etc. out there, you will find me in a massive vehicle. . It is not difficult to enter and exit. SUVs are particularly easier for older adults. They can "haul" themselves up into the car by the conveniently-placed hand-hold, and then, again using the hand-hold, slide out of the car using gravity as their friend. Much easier than climbing out of a sedan. I have taken numerous "little old ladies" to meetings and to plays (etc) and they all appreciate the ease of entry and exit, and all appreciate the large supportive seats of an SUV, which is almost never replicated in a sedan. And I have never heard of an adult riding in the third row of any car at all. The third row is for car-pool, although you may certainly do as you wish. Before this car, I owned a suburban, which I loved, but it was far more expensive to drive, owing to repairs, even though it got "better" gas mileage. Before that I had a Volvo Station Wagon. All have been fine in their own ways. The Land Cruiser blends the best of them all. Yes, the car requires gas. The engine has excellent responsiveness and pickup. When trying to turn into traffic, or maneuver out of the way of other drivers' occasional errors, this is an important safety feature. Again, the opinions of this site are wrong. 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser review
Upgrading from a 5th gen 4runner and I couldn't have a better SUV. Plenty of hybrid power, very smooth transmission, great acceleration and super comfort features and excellent interiors. Premium package is well worth it, especially 360 camera, safety features, and ventilated leather seats. 5000 miles in two months and no regret at all. Toyota nailed it. If you are looking into an upgrade from a 4Runner and any similar midsize SUV, do not hesitate!

2002 Toyota Land Cruiser review
Fabulous. If I didn't have such a love for the 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe, I'd still be driving this. Amazing vehicle, inside and out. Incredibly reliable, drove like a luxury car yet capable of digging through deep snow like it wasn't even there. Fuel mileage will never be an asset but it's a Land Cruiser, one does't need to say anymore.

2000 Toyota Land Cruiser review
I bought this truck in 2003 with 35,000 miles on it and it has never let me down. It will not stop! The body is still in pretty good shape (just a little rust starting up under the lip of the upper rear window by the tail gate latch.) I change the oil once a year (I have forgotten a couple of times and gone two years.) I take it off-road, on long trips, and it is also my daily commuter car. I have no complaints.

2025 Toyota Land Cruiser review
I purchased this car at the end of June 2025 and currently have only 5,000 miles on it. So far I love the Land Cruiser. The interior is very nice, but not especially plush. It is comfortable. The LC handles well, but I haven't taken it off-road, nor have I had to deal with difficult weather conditions. The drawbacks that I see are that it requires premium gas, does not get especially good gas mileage, and the gas tank is small for the size of the vehicle. I have no regrets in buying this vehicle.

If they are going to continue to sell used Teslas, Corwin Toyota needs to better train its employees how to transfer these vehicles through the Tesla process. The previous owner on my purchase was still listed as the owner (an elderly woman). Her credit card was apparently still being used to pay for vehicle electric charging expenses on my vehicle because I couldn't put my credit card on account until prior owner was removed from Tesla account. Simple process, but Corwin needs to commit to address this Tesla qwirk to avoid unfair charges to previous owners. I hope they will reimburse that poor prior owner. Other than this problem, the sales staff were great.

2008 Toyota Land Cruiser review
Bought a2008used. Previously owned a2004, The 2004 seemed more solid, also the third row seats were completely removable in the 2004.but are not in the 2008 and after. This makes the 2008 less useful for hauling stuff, why on earth would Toyota think it was a good idea to make those seats unremovable? The rear side windows used to open, a nice touch, gone in the 08. I think Toyota is targeting this car for suburbia now, more than the plains of Africa or off roaming in general.
