Genesis of ChantillyReviews
Genesis of Chantilly review
I found my sales person to be rude and didn’t listen well to what I wanted. He would cut me off when I was speaking and it felt like a debate about who knew the most, or what I expected; him or me. He also questioned my military service because “some folks say they are but they aren’t”. My retired husband had to explain to him customer service protocol. I really didn’t want him to get my sell. They left all sort of stickers and plastic on the vehicle. I haven’t heard from them since my purchase even though I was told there would be a visit in a week after my purchase.
2018 Volkswagen Passat review
The car was bumped when being pulled out of the dealership and there was a dent on the back bumper as a result. The interior had colored pencil and other marks inside, and there was a small tear in the backseat leather. There is an issue with the EPC where a sudden stop, or jolt of the vehicle will cause the EPC light to go on and the car will start to drive funny. When driving conditions are stable and it is reset by turning the car off, that isn’t a problem. Though I may just take it in to the dealership to have them fix any and everything wrong.

DARCARS Volvo CarsReviews
DARCARS Volvo Cars review
I can’t say enough good things about my experience at DARCARS Fairfax! From start to finish, the entire team went above and beyond to ensure my family and I felt confident and comfortable throughout our car-buying journey. A special shoutout to Kelly Vafadar, our sales consultant, who provided outstanding service! Her attention to detail, ability to clearly explain the key features of the Volvo we were considering, and genuine care made the process seamless. Kelly’s wealth of knowledge and attentiveness ensured my family was comfortable every step of the way, and her proactive approach to addressing potential issues was greatly appreciated. The General Manager, John, also took the time to personally address our concerns, demonstrating exceptional professionalism and care. Together with Kelly, they resolved every issue, leaving us completely satisfied. Ryan in finance was equally fantastic—patiently answering all our questions and working within our budget without making us feel rushed or pressured. Thanks to this amazing team, we drove away not only with a great car but also with peace of mind, knowing we were in capable and caring hands. I am proud to be part of such an amazing community. I’ll definitely be returning to DARCARS Fairfax for our next upgrade. Highly recommend!

My wife and I are very pleased with our choice of the 2018 VW Passat SE. The value received with nice interior and exterior features is excellent. I wish could find and afford the V6 version, but the gas mileage with the 2.0 Turbo is really nice.

We drove to Alexandria from NY to pick up our car after clinching all the details and pricing with Pete Bader by phone and text. Easiest, most pleasant and most straightforward car purchase we’ve ever made. It was a pleasure dealing with him, he worked with us every step of the way with no games and no unpleasant surprises. Other dealers could learn a thing or two from Pete! I strongly recommend you give him a call next time you need a car.
2016 Volkswagen Passat review
I am surprise after 51,596 and the heating core needs replacing? This does not seem normal, my nissian was over 180,000 miles before something happen to the heat. There has been a problem with this car from the beginning. When it was brand new (which I bought it with 16 miles?? brand new out of the show room) I had some problem with the air summer of 2016. The sales man told me to cut it Off and turn it back on. And it has been working but occasional I had to make that adjustment. I am not sure if this had anything to do with the heater coil. I talked to the service advisor and he had seen several core replacement. I was wondering if there was a RECALL. Please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you

These guys are very professional and give good advise to buyers. They don’t force what they want you to buy they let you decide independently and then give honest professional advice on your choice of vehicle and also clear guidelines on registration and after sales support. Being new to Maryland this has stood out for me. I highly recommend them and will definitely be making them my first choice whenever I’m on the market for anything motor vehicle related. Keep it up guys.
2014 Volkswagen Passat review
I bought a 2014 VW Passat SE in 2014 Brand New. I have done all the recommended maintenance on the car since I bought it and I have never had it break on me. I just hit 100k last month. I was driving down the highway a few weeks ago and I hit what appeared to be a piece of concrete or asphalt in the road. It made a loud thud under my car and I immediately lost power and the car turned off. I had it towed to the dealership. Whatever I hit took out my fuel pump that is inside the gas tank. They charged me $2100 to fix it. So I can tell you first hand these cars are reliable if you do all the maintenance like you are supposed to. But when they do Break, they cost way more than they should to fix them!

It drives like a good German sedan. I can't complain about the efficiency given that it's a ample midsized car. Handling is excellent and the engine has plenty of power to punch it and still utilize the torque of a diesel to cruise comfortably at low RPM>

I've been searching for the right car for over three months, and I'm so glad I found Cars of Rockville. They truly made me a believer! From the moment I walked in, the entire team was professional, honest, and never made me feel pressured. I ended up getting a beautiful used vehicle with higher mileage at an excellent price, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The car is in great condition, drives wonderfully, and my daughter absolutely loves it too! If you're looking for great customer service, fair pricing, and a dealership that genuinely cares about its customers, I highly recommend Cars of Rockville. This was one of the best car-buying experiences I've had, and I'll definitely be coming back when it's time for our next vehicle. Thank you for making this such a great experience!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great experience with Isaac! Isaac was great to work with from start to finish. He never pressured us or tried to push us into anything. He was very straightforward, honest, and upfront throughout the whole process. We felt like he genuinely wanted to help us find the right vehicle rather than just make a sale. I really appreciate the way he treated us and made the whole experience comfortable and stress-free. If you’re looking for a salesman who is honest, straightforward, and doesn’t pressure you, I definitely recommend asking for Isaac at Aren Auto Group. Great guy and great experience!
2014 Volkswagen Passat review
To all the "whiners" out there (detailing mechanical issues) "after" 100,000 miles. You don't let ANY brand of car go without "scheduled maintenance at or around 90-100,000 miles. Look at your maintenance book that came with the car. (ALL) cars have an expensive scheduled maintenance plan. If you buy a new 2024 its gonna have a $100-300 inspection and a mechanic bill of $150-175/Hr labor before parts. Some of you sound like you're suppose to be able to buy a perfect car that will never need maintenance. Really??? sheeesh. Buy an extended warranty and a new(er) car. You're the worst kind of driver to review any car. This brand is often nicknamed the "million mile" car bc it can go that far with "scheduled maintenance" of the engine wear items and oil changes. Can your Honda or Hydaui go that far??? I challenge you as a 4 VW car owner from the 2006-2014 to beat this brand of engine on highway mpg and engine longevity. Go do your homework and stop whining. My 2006 VW diesel still going at 325,000 and my 2014 Passat Tdi still going at 147,000 with the engine pistons and rings just getting seated at 90000-100,000 miles. You don't know what that means but as a diesel tech I can tell you it means it just getting its first break in period on its longevity of the engine parts. Farfenugen baby. Go VW!!!

House of KarsReviews
House of Kars review
I needed a car so badly. I was on the verge of homelessness and planned to just sleep in my car. Christian helped me out with the entire process and was entirely way too generous! I’m so happy with my new vehicle and also happy to say that I’m not homeless. Because of him and House of Kars I was able to get to and from work and get a new apartment in my name. I will always be a loyal customer and would highly recommend working with Christian!
2014 Volkswagen Passat review
Have had my beauty since 2014 and it's still a head turner. With over 110,000 miles, it still runs like brand new! I have never had issues with anything mechanical and have only had the one air bag recall.

CARPALACE review
I recently purchased a 2023 Toyota Camry XLE from CARPALACE, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The entire process was smooth and professional from start to finish. The team was knowledgeable, respectful, and genuinely helpful—no pressure, just great service. The car was in excellent condition, exactly as advertised, and the pricing was fair. I highly recommend CARPALACE to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle and a dealership that truly cares about customer satisfaction. I’ll definitely be coming back for my next car!
2016 Volkswagen Passat review
Bought a 2016 CPO with about 65k miles. (Never had to use the warranty). 1.8 L turbo engine has surprising low end torque and lots of highway passing HP. GREAT MPG! Lots of leg room for all passengers. A really great road trip car. Lost it in a crash @ 110k :(

2017 Volkswagen Passat review
After over 78000 miles, nothing but regular maintenance. Trip from Atlanta to Ohio, 40 mpg. In town mileage 31-32 mpg. Had a 2014 and it was a great car as well. Paid $16,999 on sale in 2017 on Passat S. Best car in 55 years of driving.

CarMax Independence Boulevard review
On yesterday, April 24, I had the opportunity to purchase a vehicle I had been wanting for quite some time. Working with the team at Carmax on Independence Blvd in Charlotte, NC was worth the short drive from Columbia, SC. Everyone from Shakiyah (New Sales Consultant), Neil Petersen, Sales Consultant, Caleb (Sales Manager) and my absolute favorite, Kahlil, made my experience one of a kind! Thank you for your professionalism and for making my experience a great one!
2021 Volkswagen Passat review
I love my Passat SE. My only complaint: being 6'1" I find it somewhat difficult to get in and out of the car. It sits too low. But once in the car it's most comfortable and a pleasure to drive. The driving assists and adaptive curse are marvelous. I think it's one of the nicest looking cars I've ever owned.

2018 Volkswagen Passat review
Bought it brand new. Overall not bad but has some flaws in ergonomics. Cheap plastic that doesnt stay in place. Had to glue gas tank door plate to prevent it from coming off. Little bit underpowered for a turbo. Windows control in weird place, never can get the right bottom without looking. Transmission always shifts like it cant pick the gear it wants to be in. May upshift and downshift at the same time which feels like you get kicked in the rear.
