Hudson Valley Volvo review
It's considered cool among car enthusiasts to call dealers "stealerships" for the cost and quality of their shops' work. Not Hudson Valley Volvo. I took our 2018 V90 to them this morning for a routine oil and filter change, asked them to service the front brakes of necessary, had a gripe about the car's lane-keeping feature working intermittently, and needed a state inspection. I was out in an hour and a half with a $110 total charge for everything (plus the necessary $21 for the state inspection. I could barely have changed the oil and filer myself for less, they did a total software reload for free, told me my brakes were fine, and did their best to correct the lane-keeping electronics (which may have been faulty because of stuff I had Velcroed to the inside of the windshield--EZ-Pass and camera--also no charge. I gave them ample opportunity to rip me off had I been naive, but they didn't go for any of it. They may be an exception among dealers, but Volvo should be proud to have them in their system.

An incredible buying experience. Carlo went above and beyond when assisting me in selecting and purchasing my Volvo. All car sales representatives should take a lesson from Carlo. After 3 other Volvo purchases over the years, Danbury Volvo has become my "go to" dealer from now on. There should be a 5+ star rating!

I purchased a car listed on cars.com from Volvo Cars Westport entirely through e-mail, phone calls and texts. The entire transaction took nearly two months. The sales consultant, Mike Caratone, provided excellent service from start to finish. Dealing with Mike and Volvo Cars Westport was actually fun and I feel like I got a great deal on a great car. Thank you!

Professionalism and efficiency in there delivery is not easy to find. Richard is always so attentive and make me feel quite at ease. Went in for an unusual sound coming from under the car and was told my car would not be ready the same day because they did not have the part, and due to the holidays. I was offered a loaner. The next morning I received a call that my car was ready. The part came in early, service was done and I had my car back in 24 hours. 😊

I visited on the second day being opened and had a great experience in buying a 2022 Explorer and trading in a 2016. It was seamless. Had an issue with the new car that turned out to be a factory defect that they had Ford correct. All good. I’ll be back.
2021 Volvo XC40 review
My partner wanted me to get a vehicle that availed itself of all the current self-driving and safety technologies currently on offer, and after much research, this is car I landed own. And the XC40 did not disappoint. I'm approaching my first year of ownership and comfortably say it is the best vehicle I've ever owned. With near seamless adaptable cruise control making multiple long-haul road trips as effortless as driving across town, my Volvo makes me want to drive it anywhere. Stylistically, it's a bit frustrating to now see every car on the road racing to copy its black-roof aggression, but I still get looks from folks who want to know if "that's a Volvo?" Of particular note is how the interior eschewed the trend of tacking on a giant tablet screen, opting instead for a generous dash-embedded interface that is comprehensive, intuitive and instantly responsive. I also love the app-driven features like remote start and customer temperature. The reputation for reliability is well-earned and validated. In summary, the prospect of this car one day needing to be replaced fills me with anxiety because I want to drive it forever. Well done, Volve.

I’ve always dreaded going to dealerships; expecting to spend my whole day being pressured into buying something that I “give in” to so the salesperson shuts up and usually more than I wanted monthly payments to be (lessons learned). My experience yesterday was the complete opposite! My salesman Rob Mosen-super awesome! Honest, real, down to earth. He has the perfect balance of businessman and advisor and I definitely recommend him to everyone. Matt and Ron were awesome too, very personable. The whole atmosphere is comforting. Kind of makes you want to go and just hang out with them all day. Needless to say, I left with a new jeep. Thank you everyone!!

Glen Cove Volvo CarsReviews
Glen Cove Volvo Cars review
They Took Care of Us My husband and I can't say enough kind things about Volvo Cars Glen Cove. The entire team (sales, service, finance, and management) went above and beyond to help us bring home our certified pre-owned vehicle. Our story is, in many ways, out of the ordinary. We live out of state and found our dream Volvo on their website by chance. The sales associate (Jonathan) was responsive and energized. He even hosted a video call where he showed us the car in detail. When an issue came up with the vehicle after we had flown to NYC to pick it up, Kristin Hendrick, personally assisted us and made what could have been a difficult situation easy to understand. Her kindness and willingness to help was extraordinary. The service department was prompt and helpful and Deron in Finance was a pleasure to work with--answering questions about our new warranty and out-of-state registration. Volvo Cars Glen Cove took care of us and we would do business with them again.
2023 Volvo XC40 review
After only a month, I am truly "in love" with my XC-40. I wanted to get one a few years ago. However, Covid-19 got in the way. When it was finally time to upgrade this year, I did it and have not regretted it. Great ride, all the safety features I wanted, excellent ride and handling , above EPA rated fuel economy, roomy seating. Plenty of room for my golf equipment.

2019 Volvo XC40 review
Head Light control can not be seen on the column at night. Stock tires were horrible. I switched to yokohama's. The rims design in terrible. There is a space behind the spokes which allows for dirt and brake dust to build up. Difficult to give a finished look when detailing. Plus I can't use the GPS. NOT convenient to communicate with. Engine noise is disturbing. Biggest thing is the TPM. Would prefer it to actually read the psi of each tire. Raises your anxiety not knowing the true pressure.

Glen Cove Volvo Cars review
My husband and I have owned Volvos exclusively for the last 35 years. We've been dealing with the Glen Cove dealership in the past 4 1/2 years and found the service to be excellent. It appears that post-COVID there has been a great deal to be desired. That being said the new manager, Vito, has been informative, patient and most willing to answer my questions and resolve the challenges that this dealership has faced. I am confident that he will be the person to bring back the dealership to its place of excellence.

Veronica is excellent sales person and she is professional. She has given options to choose but not forced to buy and finally bought what I wanted. She is very nice.
2019 Volvo XC40 review
This car exceeds what’s most important to our family. Driver’s main cabinets and dashboard are easily available. Car identifies and responses to outside objects quickly. Such a smooth and quite ride. As noted in some reviews. The touch screen is a bit delay in response. Otherwise. It’s a great ride.

Glen Cove Volvo Cars review
I never thought i would be writing a positive review about a car dealership after being burned in the past, however my experience here at glen cove volvo has been nothing short of great. Jehovani is a great worker who doesnt try to scam or bs customers with any shady antics. I appreciate his honesty and service towards my sale. Although, i did buy an Acura from a volvo dealer, im pretty confident in my purchase and the smooth transaction from the dealer reassured me even more.

I bought a BMW here. At first I was hesitant because I had BMW certified options but I got a much better price than a BMW dealership and I am very satisfied with the condition of the vehicle and the whole sales process. Thank you Lawrence and manager Tamir for all your help!!
2020 Volvo XC40 review
A great car. It checked most of the boxes that I had when looking for cars at the time. I ponied up for the Polestar software upgrade and wow did that make a difference. A few reviews had said that the car was underpowered. Not any more. There are some great details and some strange ones too, but overall it's one of my favorite vehicles. Like any car these days, there are a few niggling things that Vovo can't seem to fix. The hood doesn't seem to fit correctly no matter what Vovo did. It "bangs" when you lean against it (cleaning the windscreen, etc) and when the car is jolted (potholes, etc). No amount of work seems to properly address the issue. It's 2.5 years and I've been through a set (2) batteries (main and stop/start). It is now giving me the feeling that the main battery is failing again. The stop/start has not worked consistently since I got the car. Vovo tells me I don't drive it enough to keep the battery charged. Well, I do 5 to 6K a year and if that's not enough they should say so up front. Seems to me that there is something up (or down) with the charging system. Again, I'm impressed.

Romeo VW of Kingston review
I had an amazing experience at Romeo Volkswagen! I recently purchased a 2022 Volkswagen Atlas, and the entire process was smooth, stress-free, and actually enjoyable. A huge thank you to my sales rep, Jim Parker, who made everything so easy. He was knowledgeable, patient, and never pushy—making sure I felt comfortable and confident every step of the way. What really stood out was how incredibly toddler-friendly the team was. They went out of their way to keep my daughter entertained during the process, which made such a difference for me as a mom. It’s not something you find everywhere, and it truly meant a lot. If you’re looking for a dealership that genuinely cares about their customers (and their little ones!), I highly recommend Romeo Volkswagen!

Love the tech in this car. Maps, adaptive cruise, auto high beam, lane warning, hybrid averaging 31 mpg. Still good power with the turbo. Excellent sound including the Bluetooth.

Empire Volvo Cars SmithtownReviews
Empire Volvo Cars Smithtown review
I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a new vehicle, and I can confidently say that this was the most seamless and enjoyable dealership experience I have ever encountered. This success is entirely down to the incredible team, especially our salesperson, Lana Vladi, and the General Manager, Kristin Hendrick. From the moment we walked in, Lana provided exceptional service. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and, most importantly, completely free of any high pressure tactics. Lana took the time to understand exactly what we needed and guided us through the options with patience and genuine enthusiasm. She made the often stressful process of selecting a new car feel easy and fun. Equally impressive was the professionalism and care shown by General Manager Kristin Hendrick. She ensured the entire finalization process was smooth, transparent, and efficient. It is clear that Kristin sets a high standard for customer satisfaction and professionalism within the dealership. Knowing that the leadership team, like Kristin, is committed to excellence makes a huge difference. If you are looking for a new car and want an honest, pleasant, and first-class experience, ask for Lana Vladi. The combined dedication of Lana and Kristin makes this dealership truly outstanding. Highly recommended!
2023 Volvo XC40 review
This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.
