Al and his team provided the most relaxed, cordial, and easy car-buying experience that I've ever had; and I've been a car buyer since 1987. Went to dealership twice, trying to get my Electric Vehicle questions answered, and discussing my research, and Al took the time (few hours on every visit) to go over my needs, concerns, questions, and observations, patiently and thoroughly. As a follow up observation for Nissan: For those buying a Certified Nissan Electric Vehicle, please make sure you understand the terms and conditions of the 7 year/ 100,000 mile CPO warranty which on a Electric Vehicle, as per Nissan documentation, seems to cover basically nothing, even though it provides some supplemental miscellaneous services. This issue seems to be totally out of the hands of the dealership and more related to an outdated vehicle policy by Nissan, which even though aggresively promotes the use and expansion of EV's and the benefits of the Certified Pre-Owned program, seems to fail to update their coverage/warranty policies to reflect so (e.g. 7y/100,000m warranty provides coverage for combustion engine vehicles, and totally excludes all Electric Vehicle parts and components). So you pay over $1000 over market value for a Nissan Certified vehicle, to later find out that the documentation (at least the provide one with the vehicle purchase) excludes most of the benefits that led you to consider the cost premium of buying a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. If my understanding of such program is accurate (CPO), you could and should do better Nissan on your EV coverages!!! Notwithstanding my previous comment, and being honest, glad I had the opportunity to meet Al and the family of Weston Nissan. If they only had in stock my car model/year with a Chademo connection (fast-charging), i would have been blown away with the experience. WELL, i guess that will be on my next Weston Nissan purchase!
