Bought it New in December 2012. We have had very few problems over the 11 years we have owned it. Granted we only have 85,000 miles +/-, but I would love to get an updated 2024 version of this Volvo. If I had it to do again I would definitely buy it.

Bought our first XC70, a 2006 AWD with 185,000 miles. Now with 265,000, only routine maintenance and rear axle control unit repair. Got our second XC70, a 2016 FWD with with 180,000. Now has 203,000, and we pull a 3300# camping trailer with it. Again only routine maintenance. Neither of these cars burns any synthetic engine oil between 5,000 mile changes. I also drain and refill the transmission sump at the same time. I fully expect these cars to last to 300,000 and beyond. These cars are a perfect combination of safety, comfort, durability, style and power. After going airborne and inverted at 55 in an 82 240 wagon--the victims of an idiot--we were delighted to have survived with only whiplash injuries. The roof stayed right there. Equally delighted and impressed that the president of Volvo called the house thanking me for my letter and photos of the aftermath. He explained why they use the steel they do in roof frames. We've driven only Volvos since 1984, and will never drive anything else. We have five in our family.

Amazing experience. I'd recommend anyone looking for a car to try CarMax first... There's zero pressure, tons of beautiful vehicles, and just an all around great place. Will definitely be buying from here in the future. They're willing to work with you if you don't have the best credit, and most importantly, they're just honest and transparent. Two very important things when spending tens of thousands of dollars. Put it this way, it was great enough experience for me to come online and leave reviews all over!

Overall loved this car- owned a 2016 from fall 2018 until winter 2023. Handled great in all weather (including upstate NY winters with lake effect snow), had decent cargo space, towed my tiny camper (1100lb loaded) with no issues. Wish it had the higher (3500lb) tow capacity that the older wagons had- I ended up trading it in for a midsize truck because I'm getting a larger camper. My one MAJOR issue with the vehicle was that there was a design flaw in the piston rings that caused excessive oil consumption. Not all engines with the rings have issues, and Volvo found and corrected the issue in mid 2016 in the factory, but mine was from before then and at it's worst in fall '22 (@~83K miles) I was going through a quart of oil in 500 miles. Thankfully, Volvo covered the repair (I squeaked it in at the last minute of my CPO warranty, but Volvo customer service said that they typically cover it even without warranty), but if they hadn't it I would have ended up looking for a truck several months earlier because the repair would have been several thousand dollars... Overall, as much as I like my new truck, I miss this car.

Awesome car. Simply the most car you can buy for the $$$. Only short coming would be for a person without home charging since DC charging is not the fastest on the Bolt. If you took a VW Golf GTI and mashed it with an old school quite, cushy Cadillac and made it cheap to own and run like say a Prius you would have the Bolt.

This place is how car dealership should. Great atmosphere, doesn't feel like your regular dealership with all the pressure. No salesman tactics, and they have alot of plants. I bought my 2020 Tesla Model 3, first time in an EV also with this level of tech and the team at Green Wave do a vehicle orientation, so they showed me how to use the cars and we went through every option. Normally at any other dealership I bought from in the past they just hand me the keys and tell me okay bye and dont go through any features or whatever. I highly recommend going here, very competitive pricing, no hidden fees, or xx dealer/admin fees just to grab money from you. I like how they are knowledgable and mission driven, especially for a local NH small business, they run it very well especially with the small team they have. If you are considering driving an EV and dont know where to start...this is the place! I am returning again to buy one for my mom before the Used EV tax credit goes away in September. Plus they have an electric that does home charger installation, my friends got their car from there and got their home charger installed pretty quickly.

25K trouble free miles so far. Everybody picks on the 55 kW maximum charge speed, but the car is so efficient that it still adds 100 mi in ½ an hour at a DC station. Imagine a 200 HP Fit, and you've got the idea. Zero dollars on maintenance/repair.

Review: Living With 3 Chevy Bolt EVs for past 6 years Owning three Chevy Bolt EVs has been one of the smartest financial and practical decisions we’ve made. Each year, we’re saving $6,000–$7,000 combined on fuel and maintenance compared to when we drove gasoline cars. We get about 250-300 miles of range depending on heat and AC use. We bought them used around $20k each, had batteries replaced in 2020 so 100,000 mile warranty, can't beat it! Charging at Home Is Simple, either use 110v and charge overnight or upgrade 220v dryer plug We picked up a Level 2 home charger for about $150 on Amazon. Installing and running it is as simple as hooking up clothes dryer. The charger just uses a standard 240V outlet, and the energy demand is nothing unusual for a typical household. Pulls same amount of power as microwave or toaster oven. Real Cost to Charge Let’s run the math: Electric rate: $0.10 per kWh Efficiency: ~4.5 miles per kWh Monthly driving: 2,000 miles each car That works out to: 2,000 miles at 4.5miles/kW at 10cents/kW= $44/month So for just $44 a month, each Bolt drives 2,000 miles. Compare that to a gas car at 30 MPG and $3.50/gallon: 2,000 miles at 30MPG= 66.7gals times $3.50 = $233/month That’s nearly $190/month in savings per car, just on fuel.
