Have the AWD model with the 2.4 turbo, there is no rust on this car now 23 years old, everything still works 179,00 miles. 1998 has side airbags, heated seats, heated mirrors, a beast in the snow. This is the last year Swedish owned, will keep until it dies.

Great car that is totally practical but fun to drive. 6 Speed Manual transmission is amazing. Turbo kicks into gear and you really feel the 300 HP. Have taken on serious sports cars such as Porsche Boxter and have beaten them on the turns....with appropriate tires of course. I recommend Pirelli or Goodyear Eagles for performance. Standard low profile or even all weather tires are still terrific for the car although I would not push as hard in competition. The volvo has 3 stability settings, comfort, sport and performance. Each instantly responds. Of course with this car you can fit 5 and have room for luggage and skis. One negative is the turning radius due to the four wheel drive. Car performs well in all terrain and weather. Seat heaters, premium sound. Blue leather interior. Highly recommended.

Great experience!!! Purchased 2010 VW Jetta Wolfsburg manual for our daughter on March 16th, 2024; review done May 15th, 2024. Good price with warranty. We have been looking for the right manual car for 3 years. Car was in great condition except for a minor issue with the shifter being loose. We knew it needed to be replaced. We purchased the car anyway and ordered/replaced with an OEM shifter kit and it drives like new. We worked with Mo a lot and Arslan at closing. My wife called Mo 8 weeks after purchase to let them know that our daughter loves the car and about the shifter. We appreciate everything that they have done for us. Such great service and a passion for their customers. The way Mo selects cars to enter the dealership show the depth of his knowledge and love for cars. Our mechanic was very impressed with the overall quality of this 2010 Jetta. This a family owned business we had a very positive and memorable experience with. My compute was easily 20,000 miles a year. I purchased the car used, it’s a very comfortable vehicle. Great in the rain and snow. Around 150,00 miles the AWD malfunction light appeared on the dash, the car still ran well so at that point it’s a fancy V70. At 160,000 miles the on board computer had to be replaced, that was expensive. At 181,000 miles the check engine light appeared on the dash and that turned out to be a spark plug coil problem. The sunroof drain plugs need to cleaned at least once a year if not garaged. Heading for 200,000 miles, I going to drive it until it drops.

When I came to pick up the vehicle, my plates was already on my paperwork was ready to sign and my Lexus was clean and shinned all up.

Overall loved this car- owned a 2016 from fall 2018 until winter 2023. Handled great in all weather (including upstate NY winters with lake effect snow), had decent cargo space, towed my tiny camper (1100lb loaded) with no issues. Wish it had the higher (3500lb) tow capacity that the older wagons had- I ended up trading it in for a midsize truck because I'm getting a larger camper. My one MAJOR issue with the vehicle was that there was a design flaw in the piston rings that caused excessive oil consumption. Not all engines with the rings have issues, and Volvo found and corrected the issue in mid 2016 in the factory, but mine was from before then and at it's worst in fall '22 (@~83K miles) I was going through a quart of oil in 500 miles. Thankfully, Volvo covered the repair (I squeaked it in at the last minute of my CPO warranty, but Volvo customer service said that they typically cover it even without warranty), but if they hadn't it I would have ended up looking for a truck several months earlier because the repair would have been several thousand dollars... Overall, as much as I like my new truck, I miss this car.

Has been in my family's life since new, never needed any huge repairs and the car is 17 years old! Great on gas, cheap parts can be found anywhere (GM), and every mechanic knows how to work on it.

I purchased a '95 (champagne/beige) Mercury Sable in 2001 from a "buy here/pay here" in my hometown. It had around 52,000 miles, one previous owner, and a car phone (remember those?). I owned this car until 2007; it had about 114,000 miles on it then. I took the car phone out. Let's see, I replaced the front/rear brakes once, a tire, the radiator, a starter, and a water pump. Oh, and the air filter and the spark plugs. Once. Same with the wiper blades. I'm not gonna lie, I think I only did, like, 3 or 4 oil changes on it in 6 YEARS and the car ran BEAUTIFULLY. All of that work I mentioned above was spaced over the 6 years I owned it and altogether cost less than $1000. So why did I get rid of it? I didn't. It was in a rear-end collision that smashed it between two cars. It was a gold accordion after that. This car is a workhorse and a half. I abused it greatly and it kept running. I mean, I can not stress how much I didn't take care of this car, yet it always got me where I needed to go. The one and only time it didn't start was when the starter went out. Had a friend take it off, took it to a little shop that rebuilt parts, the dude put the new brushes in it or whatever. 18 bucks. I would still be driving that car if it hadn't been in an accident. Amazing car. Getting a little misty just thinking about it. If you're questioning buying this car (at this point, I mean, they are starting to get up there in age) for in-town driving or for a new driver, I say go for it. It's even okay on gas mileage! Good luck and I hope you'll love your Sable as much as I did!

Overall, the experience was very good. We purchased the car from Mo, a polite, soft spoken man that gave us zero pressure during the entire sales process. His communication was excellent throughout the process. The car needs a bit of work, but it was listed at a great price. He offered an optional extended powertrain warranty, and fixed a worn-out serpentine belt when a local mechanic pointed it out during a pre-sale inspection. Thanks!

Great car drive and also great to haul just about anything Small to mid sized since the back seats fold all the way down. And it gets good Gas MPG as well.

I've driven a large range of vehicles, from the cheapest commuter you can buy new, to fully loaded Town Cars and Chrysler 300's and everything in between. To get straight to it: It gets the job done, and won't break while doing it. It gets decent mileage, it's a Toyota so you know it's going to outlive you, and there's lots of space so how can you go wrong? To be 100% clear, it's not very comfortable and there's no sound insulation at all, and it makes no power which means getting anywhere at a brisk pace means your foot is occasionally to the floor during regular driving. I don't see these as issues, this is part of the fun, overall I have a lot of fun in it and I don't worry about it's reliability at all. I also recommend sampling the symphony that is allowing your muffler to rust off, and giving it some redline as a treat. She's a racecar.
