    AJ was my salesman. He was very patient, he wasn't pushy, and took his time with me. I went to a few other dealerships before going to Route 4 Auto Exchange,... and everywhere else, I had to walk around the lot by myself until someone finally decided I might be worth their time - or they were so pushy that I left. Anyway, I decided on a car and Alex helped me get a loan I could afford. I even told of my experience to a coworker and they bought a car from them as well.

    Route 4 Lemon Exchange; what a nightmare. I purchased a car there that I was promised was good to go and not even 500 miles is ready for the junk yard..... I contacted the dealership to return, but absolutely no compassion or even so much as a response. I don't take writing a negative review lightly (this is actually my first ever), but they are leaving me little choice. When I first got the car, I put a down payment on it with a verbal agreement I could have my mechanic look at the car and return it if it got the thumbs down...it did, but Paul did not honor this verbal agreement I had with AJ...he simple told me they had no obligation to tell me the true condition of the car....he did say he would have his mechanic take a look at the car though and they would take care of an engine issue and the clutch which was a problem....they told me the engine was fine and the clutch would be good for 6 months....it was not. I was going to make the most of it and was prepared to put some work into the car, but literally not 500 miles into driving the car, the clutch is so bad it does not even go into reverse or first now and in fact there is an engine problem...the repair estimate is more than I paid for the car and thus I'm being advised by multiple people to file a complaint with the DMV. Making this purchase and trusting the verbal handshake agreement I got that I could have my mechanic look at the car was the biggest car mistake I ever made in the 30 years I've been driving. They also did the old bait and switch too....the original salesman Pelo promised me one price; when I got there they doubled it...after I almost walked out, they cut it down in half, but the price for the car was also more than was advertised and promised...they explained this away as simple being a "internet price", but of course on the website there is no indication so Route 4 Lemon Exchange is also guilty of false advertisements. At this point I really don't even know what to do...if anyone know s a good lawyer, please shoot me an email at chris.morris77@gmail.com because these guys completely ripped me off. I will add too that the car was not even safe to drive; I really felt in danger the few times I rode the car because of the stalling issues.

    ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY HERE In ten days I will be making a payment on a vehicle that still cannot be driven! This dealership is negligent at best and deceptive... at worst. I test drove an 08 Honda Pilot on August 1st, and during the drive the check engine light came on. We used the dealership's diagnostic scanner and it pulled codes for exhaust issues. The salesperson Karina and I agreed to the sale upon the condition that mechanical issues that the dealership was now aware of would be repaired before finalizing anything so the vehicle would be able to pass New York State inspection. I gave them 5 days to prepare the vehicle and left a deposit. After I returned and was assured the vehicle was repaired, which I could not see for myself since the vehicle was still being detailed, we finalized the deal and after an hours wait or so, I drove the car home. The check engine light came back on during the drive back home proving the issues were not resolved as they were promised to have been and had they been appropriately addressed by the dealer they would have also discovered the safety inspection concerns of the brakes and suspension. When I addressed these concerns with the dealership they promised they would pay for the repairs required to get the vehicle to pass inspection for NYS. When they got the estimate for said repairs, they deflected my concerns to an outsourced customer service person who tried to shift the blame to me and is attempting to coerce me to take a deal that in reality is nothing more than a continuation of ripping me off. This dealer knowingly sold me a car that had issues preventing it from passing inspection against the terms of our deal. They now refuse to make good on the promises they've already made me. I only want them to pay to have the vehicle fixed to the condition that they promised me it was in, the condition they led me to believe I was paying for. You should choose to spend your money literally anywhere else, since it appears that Karina, Nick and Alex choose to sell dangerous, defective vehicles and mislead their customers in order to close those deals.

    Route 4 auto exchange really helped me out. Things were rough. I bought a car and at first everything was great. A few days later the transmission went.... Instead of kicking me to the side like most dealerships would. Scott, Alex and the staff at route 4 auto exchange went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. They put me in a loaner car which seemed like a new car and paid insurance on it while they fixed my car. They even went and bought a whole car for me because I wouldn't take the original one. Then I decided to take the original one anyway and they didn't care. They are very transparent and up front about everything which made the process as smooth as it could go. Thanks route 4 I'll be back and send all my peoples

    I came here by a client. I was looking for a certified car. But when I drove by this place, it looked like certified cars all newer age model cars at low... prices. Very happy with the purchase of my used 2104 honda pilot.
