Key Points

  • Mid-size SUV with available 308-horsepower V-6 engine
  • Available in 2LT, 3LT and RS trim levels
  • Pricing starts at $36,295 (all prices include $1,995 destination charge).

The electric Chevrolet Blazer only debuted for the 2024 model year, but its gas-burning namesake’s current generation dates to the 2019 model year. For this Blazer’s eighth model year, Chevrolet has dropped the Premier trim level and limited availability of the V-6 engine to just the range-topping RS. (Previously, the V-6 was also optional on the 3LT.) That leaves three trim levels, two engines, and front- or all-wheel drive. So, which 2026 Blazer is right for you?

Trim Details and Pricing

2LT: $36,295

The entry-level 2026 Blazer features 18-inch wheels, LED headlights and taillights, heated exterior mirrors, keyless entry and start, and remote start. The cabin is upholstered in cloth and has heated front seats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, six speakers, and a 10.2-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

3LT: $41,695

One step up, the 3LT doesn’t add a lot of standard equipment — highlights are perforated leather upholstery, a power-adjustable front-passenger seat and a power liftgate — but it does grant the buyer access to more options. These include a panoramic moonroof and the Sound & Technology Package, which features adaptive cruise control, navigation, an eight-speaker Bose sound system, 360-degree camera system, rear camera mirror and wireless charging pad.

RS: $45,595

The RS rides on 20-inch wheels and features a black roof and grille, as well as unique front and rear bumpers. It also gets a hands-free power liftgate, heated steering wheel, navigation, ambient lighting, a wireless charging pad and the eight-speaker Bose sound system.

Standard and Available Safety Features

Chevy Safety Assist is standard on every 2026 Blazer. The safety suite includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and steering assist, a following distance indicator and automatic high beams. The Driver Confidence Package is also standard and includes blind spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors. A 360-degree camera system is optional on the 3LT and RS, and GM’s Safety Alert Seat, which vibrates the sides of the driver’s bottom seat cushion to alert them to potential hazards, is available on the RS.

Powertrain Specs and MPG

A 228-hp, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 258 pounds-feet of torque is standard in every 2026 Blazer trim level, and it’s backed by a nine-speed automatic transmission. FWD is also standard on all trims; AWD costs $2,700 on the 2LT and 3LT and $2,900 on the RS.

A 3.6-liter V-6 engine making 308 hp and 270 pounds-feet of torque is optional in only the RS; it, too, is paired with a nine-speed automatic. The V-6 costs $1,650 with FWD and $1,000 with AWD.

With FWD, the 2.0-liter Blazer returns an EPA-rated 22/29/25 mpg city/highway/combined; AWD drops those figures to 22/27/24 mpg. The V-6 Blazer is rated at 19/26/22 mpg with FWD and 18/25/21 mpg with AWD.
