What Is the 2022 GMC Sierra HD?

The GMC Sierra HD is a heavy-duty variation of the full-size Sierra pickup truck. Available with a gas 6.6-liter V-8 or turbo-diesel 6.6-liter V-8 engine, the Sierra HD is built for towing and hauling; the Sierra 3500’s towing capacity maxes out at 36,000 pounds. Competitors include the Ford Super Duty F-250 and F-350 as well as the Ram 2500 and 3500

Love my GMC HD

I ordered a 2022 3500 SRW Pro LB Double cab 4x4 in silver metallic / blk cloth. Added preferred package; gooseneck pkg; X31; upgraded wheels; camper/Snowplow prep; black steps. Got the 6.6 gas L8T. No start/stop and runs on all 8 cylinders all the time. I Love this truck. Had Rams and Fords in past. This is my first GM truck. I am in my 50s so not a brand thing... just a great truck. It was delivered in June. Truck rides great, tows very well, reciever or gooseneck. Fuel mileage is outstanding! Especially for a 4x4 one ton. I get 16 to 18 highway when not towing. I was shocked by how well it did and impressed with towing mpg as well. I generally tow between 6 and 14,000 lbs. Loads include a Glacier bay catmaran boat, 30' camper, and 3 axle 25' gooseneck. Truck easily handles those loads. The L8T engine is smooth and powerful. The 6L90 Transmission functions perfectly. If something were to happen to this truck I would not hesitate to order an exact replacement. So far very satisfied. MSRP as ordered was $53,945.

GMC BACWARDS TECHNOLOGY

Be very very careful if you’re considering buying this vehicle it has hidden surprises that are not good such as backwards technology there is no electronic telescoping pedals there are no electronic telescoping steering wheel it’s keyless entry system is fouled up if you have multiple keys/fobs the memory seat function does not work correctly at all. The memory seats function is set up to not work correctly you have to hold the button to put the seat back into a memory learned position and it still doesn’t work correctly if you lock the vehicle with a fob and unlock it with a fob it still doesn’t go back to its memory settings so that function is useless the Apple CarPlay does not work if you and your significant other both have a telephone in the vehicle it doesn’t remember which one is the favorite and it chooses to go to the secondary phone more often than not. The amenities of a 2019 GMC Denali we’re far and above better in my opinion they have gone completely backwards and made this into a money make up function. You could purchase then the same vehicle for $62,000 that you now purchase for $92,000 does this seem right to any consumer?
