honda odyssey 2025 exterior oem 01 jpg

After a face-lift for the 2025 model year that tweaked its exterior styling and updated the cabin tech, the Honda Odyssey rolls into 2026 unchanged. That means the minivan remains a spacious and comfortable bus for modern families, though it lacks the powertrain choices, interior flexibility and features of some competitors. The 2026 Honda Odyssey starts at $44,245 (all prices include $1,450 destination charge).

Release Date and Pricing

The 2026 Honda Odyssey is on sale now. Prices increase somewhat from 2025; the amount varies between trim levels, but all are up an average of $550. Full pricing is as follows:

  • EX-L: $44,245
  • Sport-L: $45,345
  • Touring: $48,945
  • Elite: $53,145

What Are the 2026 Honda Odyssey’s Trim Levels?

Whereas its competitors offer second-row captain’s chairs, every 2026 Odyssey seats eight, with second- and third-row benches (though the second row can convert to captain’s chairs when the middle seat is removed). The entry-level EX-L rides on 18-inch aluminum wheels and features LED exterior lighting, a power moonroof, power sliding doors, a power liftgate, remote start, and keyless entry and start. Leather seating is standard, as are power-adjustable and heated front seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, blue ambient lighting, second-row sunshades, wireless phone charging and Honda’s CabinTalk in-car system that allows parents to talk to third-row occupants (raised voice optional). The Odyssey’s basic infotainment system consists of seven speakers and a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Honda Sensing suite of advanced safety tech is standard on every Odyssey. It includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering, lane departure warning, blind spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, road-sign recognition and automatic high beams.

It’s a short step up from the EX-L to the Sport, and that step nets a short list of upgrades: black 19-inch wheels, red ambient light (the Touring and Elite revert to blue), and two third-row USB-C charge ports.

The Odyssey Touring wears gray 19-inch wheels. It also features front and rear parking sensors, navigation, a 12.8-inch rear-seat entertainment screen, Wi-Fi, third-row window shades and CabinWatch, which streams a feed of the rear seats on the infotainment touchscreen.

At the top of the Odyssey lineup, the Elite gets machine-finished 19-inch wheels, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a hands-free power liftgate and noise-insulated side windows. Inside, it features perforated leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel and a sound system upgraded to 11 speakers.

What Are the 2026 Honda Odyssey’s Powertrain Specs and MPG?

Honda only offers the Odyssey with a 3.5-liter V-6 engine making 280 horsepower and 262 pounds-feet of torque. It’s paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and sends power to the front wheels, returning the same 19/28/22 mpg city/highway/combined as the 2025 model, according to Honda (official EPA ratings are not yet available for the 2026 model).

The Honda Odyssey lags behind its competitors in powertrain options. The Chrysler Pacifica and Toyota Sienna are available with front- or all-wheel drive. The Kia Carnival now offers a hybrid powertrain, and the Sienna is exclusively hybrid (both return more than 30 mpg combined), while the Pacifica is available with a plug-in hybrid system that provides up to 32 miles of electric range.
