2015 Lexus IS 350 review: Our expert's take

What Is the 2015 Lexus IS 350?

The 2015 Lexus IS 350 is a compact luxury sedan with seating for five and is comparable to models like the Cadillac ATS, Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series. It is available in a single trim level with rear or all-wheel drive. A less powerful version, the Lexus IS 250, is covered separately on Cars.com.

What's New on the 2015 Lexus IS 350?

The most notable changes for 2015 have been made to the vehicle's interior. The remote touch interface knob for the navigation system has been updated. Those who opt for an all-wheel-drive model or the F Sport option package can now enjoy a heated steering wheel. Lexus Enform Remote, a subscription service that allows drivers to start their vehicle with their smartphone in addition to other added conveniences, is now available.

How Does the 2015 Lexus IS 350 Compare to Other Luxury Sedans?

The Lexus IS 350 was designed to appeal to a younger demographic, and the practical improvements made to the 2015 model should help attract buyers and make it a strong contender in the segment.

What Features in the 2015 Lexus IS 350 Are Most Important?

The 2015 IS 350 comes equipped with a 306-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. An optional six-speed automatic comes with all-wheel drive. Speed-sensing steering and the available Sport mode enhance performance even further.

Significant standard features include turn signal indicator mirrors, heated power side mirrors, fog lights, automatic headlights, a power moonroof, automatic temperature control and a tilt/telescoping steering wheel. Noteworthy optional features include a navigation system, heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats and Lexus Enform Remote.

As required on all new vehicles of this model year, the IS 350 is outfitted with front airbags, antilock brakes and an electronic stability system. The vehicle also comes standard with eight additional airbags. Available safety features include a lane departure warning system, blind spot warning system, rear cross-traffic alert and automatic high-beam headlights.

Should I Buy the 2015 Lexus IS 350?

The Lexus IS 350 delivers impressive acceleration, and it performs well on hilly terrain. The well-equipped base model also has a roomy backseat for taller passengers. However, in terms of fuel economy, there are better options on the market.

Great car

The Lexus IS 350 F Sport has been a great car! It does a great job in the winter and the only downside is the clearance. But I can’t complain about the car, it has been great. It sounds good when you get on it and it’s quick. Not sure about 3 seconds quick like the gentleman in the other review and I’m almost certain he is a little high. But I plan on buying another Lexus just might try a different model. Plus I’m not as slim as I use to be.

All you could hope for and more!

It's all that and more! 0-60 in 3 seconds" got mine in 2022 and I could swear whoever owned it before me.....must have upgraded the ecu chip" because no way it could do 0-60 in 3 seconds without upgrading the engines ecu.

My 2015 IS 350 fsport

I love the car, the F-sport is awesome as far as comfort and style. BTW, it's not just for the younger crowd, at 59 I fell in love at first sight, however, the cup holders are placed reduculously. You have to literally turn your body to get your drink etc. The bay that's in front of your Nav screen seems to be where the catch all is🙄. Nowhere else to put my phone, keys etc. Plus, depending how much stuff you start catching, good luck seeing your screen. Lexus needs to change that center area design, especially the cup holders. They are a hot mess! The seats design is the best, they just wrap around you, you feel like your in a cockpit...sort of. I love it. Overall, I have enjoyed owning this fast, sporty, sexy ride. Go get some......
