Best driving BMW. Traded in 2013 550i. Torque, acceleration, & handling of new 540 surpasses my old 550. Could use more interior storage. The seats were slightly more Comfortable in my old 550. So far, I'm impressed with the new 540.

I purchased the 540i xDrive with shadowline package in March 2022. The exterior is absolutely beautiful, The vehicle handles very well. Excellent acceleration. I love the option to be able to switch driving element from economy, comfort or sport. Driver assist works great; even on curves. There’s not much back seat room to move your feet, or if you have big feet, but overall a very comfortable vehicle. I can’t think of any other luxury sedan I’d select over it.

I recently bought a BMW 540i xdrive. It has ample acceleration, excellent handling on curves, a ride that is neither harsh nor floaty, and gets decent mileage. Wind and road noise are well suppressed, and the Harmon-Kardon stereo system is excellent. The built-in navigation system is also the best of those I've experienced. The trunk is adequate for vacation traveling, the rear seat folds, and there is adequate leg room for rear passengers. The only drawbacks are that the car was over-engineered with three different ways of doing almost everything: voice command, iDrive, and touch screen. The owner's manual is available online and in printed format, but the instructions are difficult to find and to follow. There are some features missing in a passenger car in this price and size segment: rear seat temperature control, and passenger seat memory. I also find the standard front seats a little narrow compared to the Volvo I had been driving.

I recently bought a 2014 BMW X5 from Hue - he was very attentive and helpful. I had a 3rd party inspection completed prior to purchasing and they gave good marks for the car. I was looking for a new M340i Xdrive. I am from Corpus Christi, TX and no cars were available. I had an option to order but found my future new car online. I called and spoke with your sales associate, Kelley. There was already a deposit on the vehicle however, the potential buyers were considering not moving forward with the sale. Kelley was VERY responsive in keeping us updated on the status of the vehicle and when the potential buyers chose not to move forward, she immediately notified us. There were 2 other potential buyers behind us but we were able to provide a deposit, drove up to Houston, purchased the vehicle and were on the road driving back home within 90 minutes of our arrival. I love this vehicle. Reliable, comfortable, powerful, always feels like it’s capable of delivering more no matter the speed or scenario. Excellent air conditioning in the swealtering Florida sun. Leather holds up extremely well, trim pieces are all still in excellent condition after years of use. Absolute joy and pleasure to drive. Comfort access, premium audio and the technology packages are a must.

My appointment was with someone else, but after waiting about 15 minutes, I was approached by Sales Manager Michael Mullings who kindly offered to help. He connected with the person with whom I was scheduled to be sure it was ok. This was the first indication of his strength of character and professionalism. Michael was an absolute delight to work with. I was not sure what I wanted to purchase, so he showed me all options and full explained the differences. We ended up searching the used car inventory and took one out for a test drive. He was kind, unassuming and very patient with me. He even worked late to help me, since I needed to purchase a car very quickly. The next day, we negotiated a price via phone and I was able to come in after work to complete the purchase. He had the car detailed and paperwork ready to go on my arrival. So I was only there for about 30-40 minutes. Then he and another salesman kindly helped me get my current and new car to my apartment complex which was only 5 minutes from the dealership. As a woman, I appreciated Michael treating me with respect and kindness, and most of all, like a serious buyer. I also am grateful for the speed at which he operated to help me get a wonderful deal and vehicle quickly. A great daily driver that is comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. The tech features are low stress and easy. Always feels ready to reduce stress with spirted driving. Has a way of wrapping around you to feel like a smaller car as you drive and still be large enough to feel safe on a road full of crossovers.

I’ve had a good experience at BMW of West Houston for years, Berj has been an outstanding sales advisor.

Have put 54K miles on it since new. Fabulous ride and performance. Excellent responsiveness at high speed. The short coming is it is expensive to maintain minor annoyances to keep it perfect. Have to repair the headlight due to "Angel eye" glowing yellow! Way too costly a repair; and an obvious defect in the design of headlights. Should be a Recall, as most cars get this defect after 5 years. Also have to repair the Gibeau joining plate on powertrain line (drive shaft to Differential link). Too soon for that kind of repair. (I would expect the linkage to be good for 100K). If you service at the dealer, like I do out of convenience, everything is costly. I took out a maintenance service plan, it's worth it. (it covers oil changes, brake flushes, transmission fluids, filters, radiator flush).
