2022 BMW 540 review
I purchased the 540i xDrive with shadowline package in March 2022. The exterior is absolutely beautiful, The vehicle handles very well. Excellent acceleration. I love the option to be able to switch driving element from economy, comfort or sport. Driver assist works great; even on curves. There’s not much back seat room to move your feet, or if you have big feet, but overall a very comfortable vehicle. I can’t think of any other luxury sedan I’d select over it.

2003 BMW 540 review
2003 was the last year for this series, and the 540 M Sport was probably the best balanced option of this series. The 4.4 ltr motor is powerful and bullet proof from this Era. 220,000 miles on these engines before work needs to be done on timing chain guides, then good to go again... they just run great and pull hard. Much more reliable and fun than the "twin power turbo" BMWs that have come and gone from my garage (while the 540 M Sport has stayed.) The 6 speed stick is the way to go. Awesome match up with the motor, and with the performance and solid handling of the M Sport suspension there is no comparison even on the market today. Classic lines... always compliments from other drivers. These cars are fun and are just going up in value. Strongly recommend. More fun than an 80's Porsche 911 stick shift and WAY less maintenance.

Honestly, they were so responsive and easy to work with that I initially thought it might be too good to be true — I’m just not used to that level of customer service when buying a vehicle. When the vehicle arrived, the check engine light was on. I took it to my local dealership and found out the battery cable simply wasn’t tightened properly. Once that was corrected, the issue was resolved immediately. There was also some minor paint wear, which is expected when purchasing a five-year-old vehicle, and I plan to take care of that myself. Overall, this was a fantastic buying experience. I appreciate the professionalism, communication, and follow-through from Amir and Zach, and I would absolutely recommend Car Carnival to anyone shopping for a vehicle.
2001 BMW 540 review
I have owned many cars in my life and this, dare I say tops the list. From handling to acceleration to comfort. Shifts click in to place and driving is an overall relaxing experience. I kept up with the preventative maintenance and simple repairs and my 540i treated me very well. This car is worth it and leaves you looking back after any trip to the grocery store. It is a fantastic piece of naturally aspirated V8 German engineering.
