Im glad BMW came out with x1, sometimes customers want to drive a nice looking car and settle for models that end up having major issues and the 100k “warranty” promised it’s just a selling features that never works Becuase every time you take your car “nothing it’s wrong” The BMW has been a great addition to the family; drives great and feels very solid. Everything about my experience with Lake Motors was excellent and above board except for one thing which l just want them to know for future sales to customers like myself are in another state and buy online from them. On April 29th l l purchased a 2013 BMW 2013 X3. It was shipped to me on Saturday morning May 2nd 2026. On Monday May 4th l had it insured and that evening went out for a ride. Halfway through my ride a service light came on saying charging malfunction. Today Tuesday May 5th a charging test showed the voltage regulator not working. Lake Motors for future customer like myself l ask that battery and charging systems be tested before you ship it cross country. It would give both customer and your good name appreciation and quality service. Thank you
2017 BMW X1 review
This is an update from my February 1, 2019 review. I have now owned the vehicle for nearly seven years. I’ve personally driven nearly 20,000 miles in it. The vehicle now has nearly 50,000 miles on the odometer. I purchased it certified pre-owned from a BMW dealership. I have maintained the vehicle to manufacturer specifications. I have only paid for routine maintenance. I have paid for zero repairs. My previous review is confirmed. Full disclosure, two repairs were covered under warranty by the BMW dealership when I purchased the vehicle and one other repair was performed by a different BMW dealership due to their mistake during a routine service.

2017 BMW X1 review
So reliable and fun to drive, even in snow. I’m tall and seats are comfy, even in rear. Very versatile with good cargo space. Love the kick-to-open rear door. Mileage is around 28 mpg, it requires premium fuel. It drives a little sluggish when not in Sport mode.
