STAR AUTO MALL: Worst car dealer EVER! I bought a 2017 BMW X3. They never checked the car! I had problems immediately! I called, emailed & texted... Star Auto Mall would NOT return my calls, texts or emails! I went to BMW dealer, and they found lots of issues! Wires hanging down, tires rubbing, etc. It cost me $480 to fix it! I billed Star Auto Mall, and it looks like they're just chucking me the finger!! AVOID these incompetent thieves! Only very negative experience we had was trying to put dwn $ on car when buying it. Turns out we had to take like 15 mn to begin with in the finance agents office to figure out how to increase our daily withdrawal limit from our chkg acct to make a pymnt on cost of suv to lwr its price. Then it turned out we could only make a max amt pymnt due to other small purchases earlier in day. The remng amt had to put on cc. All this because noone had common sense to tell us to bring our checkbook for simplicity. All this wasted like half an hour and didn't even include all the other items requiring review. Talk about ruining the experience. The only good part of the suv purchase has been our sales agent Jay Weil. I give her an A. She has been totally helpful all the way thru. Gave good suggestions like the behind the front seats gap filler/ storage units. Very good! Ken Watkins

We managed to come to an agreement and purchased the car we wanted. There was not much negotiation, but the car was well priced to begin with. We agreed to pay $500 additional in order to drive the car away and have our mechanic inspect it. We got a week to report any issues and could return the car for a full refund if not satisfied by any necessary repairs. Ultimately the car checked out and the only problem was a piece of windshield trim that flew off on the way home. We negotiated a $200 refund and got the repair done by our mechanic so we didn’t have to drive the car back to the dealer. So far, so good.
