2020 Cadillac Escalade ESV review
Excellent mechanical upgrade from earlier series. Handles like a vehicle half its size with great transmission and suspension. Great ride quality and overall handling. Reliable thus far - 40K miles on it with one issue needed warranty replacement (starter motor). Unfortunately, the vehicle's overall ownership experience is marred by their utterly terrible CUE system. it is called "Cadillac User Experience" when it should be called "Cadillac User Exasperation". The system and touchscreen are about a clumsy as you can get - seems as if they were designed by engineers who never actually used their own creation. The CUE fails on several levels - the touch screen is overly sensitive and non-responsive at the same time (yes, we did run the "calibrate" function several times..did not help). Second, the system fails the "reasonable user test"; you cannot fully use front/rear controls, traffic controls, vehicle controls without referring continuously to the manual (there is a separate one for CUE - a real joke). Basic functions work ok..once you try to do something slightly non-stardard whoa be unto you.... Third, the navigation system is frozen in the mid 2010's....the traffic calculation for trip time is plain wrong (yes, the XM traffic information source is connected)....this is supposed to be a top-of-the line Cadillac in 2020!! to hire someone from Audi/BMW or somewhere else to show you how to do it...simply inexcusable for a "best effort" vehicle from GM in 2020 model year, let alone 2023! Lastly, the front seats have more adjustments/controls than you can count, yet the seat are uncomfortable over long distances - (yes, a separate indecipherable manual!)...also with the seats, the heat/cooling ventilation is less effective the the first Escalade we owned (a 2007 model)....way to go Cadillac. A very good vehicle that should be MUCH better given its cost and supposed statement of the BEST that GM can do for its vehicle type...FYI..we did have the premium version...

2024 Cadillac XT4 review
Having owned 1 srx and 2 xt5. Now an xt4, I think it is the most appealing. My loaded sport has all the luxury and safety features. I drive it in sport for kicks, and 2wd for economy. If you don't need cargo space but like the xt5, go for it! Enjoy!

2024 Cadillac XT5 review
3rd XT5 have had no issues with '19 & '21. Current our '24 is experiencing automatic braking and cruise control issues. The vehicle is in the shop to be fixed. This issue has caused crashes. Our experience was shocking with the system slamming on the brakes while moving. Ido hope Cadillac gets this issue corrected. We are very apprehensive when driving and will be since this occured.

2023 Cadillac XT5 review
First of all, I purchased the XT5 Sport AWD with the Platinum package, sticker $69,530. Truthfully, this is a fine ride, and a pleasure to drive. Everything is at your fingertips and easy to use. A couple of items I miss would be the floating high beams that come with intellibeams, the accent lighting in the interior was a nice feature. My final complaint, not enough USB ports. It could use a couple on the dash just below the radio.

2013 Cadillac XTS review
Got a 2013 about a month ago with 60K in nearly perfect condition. I have spent some time and money fixing little things - these cars are complicated and loaded with delicate technology. The CUE radio has been replaced, as has the electronic dash - which are both a very nice feature but are known to fail. It drives beautifully, has tons of room, is a fantastic value proposition, and looks very nice. The overall finish is very high and of very good quality on these cars. The owners complaining here are the ones that drive them hard and the only attention the car gets is when they drop it off to the dealer for something and then agree to fix things. Plan to spend a lot of money keeping one going if this is you. If you can do most things yourself, and keep it properly looked after, it's typical of any common luxury car. They ALL have their quirks. If you really wanted a toyota or a honda economy car then this isn't the car for you - go buy one of those, you'll hate owning one of these. Me? I just love it! 2023 Cadillac Escalade review

2020 Cadillac Escalade review
So far a really nice SUV. I just feel like with the price on Escalades, they missed on the interior design. You can really get on the gas when driving but the takeoff is really heavy. It almost feels really slow. Not sure on the idle but not as smooth as I would like. But it looks great! This SUV is a head turner and will standout. Just don't be afraid to spend money if you need to. Luxury SUVs are like women. They need money and love. Give them that and they will be around for a while.
