I bought a chevy spark a fun car as i call it great on gas easy to park and get me where i want to go with ease not a gas guzzler at all fill the tank and see the gas station in a week in a half later.

I see that all reviews here seem to be negative but it is now 2023 and hopefully things have changed. I have nothing but good to say about my sales guy Dean Tower, at Columbia Hyundai. I purchased a 2022 Hyundai Tucson and he was very helpfull and informative also helped me set up the system which nowadays can be very confusing. I would recommend him if you need a sales guy.

We use electric drive 100% of the time around town. It's nice to have no range anxiety on longer trips. Comfortable car for two average sized adults.

I want to start up by saying, I am not a "car person". I do know, is a 5'2 female, this car feels like it was made for me. It gets amazing gas mileage, and you can park in a sidewalk square if needed. Yes, it does not have a lot of bells and whistles to it at all, but it does have the Android auto / Apple Auto feature which I love, at the same time as having roll up Windows. It is perfect for in town and highway driving. I drove it all the way to Georgia from Illinois with no problem. And my 6'5 son fits comfortably in the passenger seat as well, as well as plenty of room in the backseat and trunk for groceries or luggage.

I purchased my Spark new, June 2019. I love this car! It is now, one month before 6 yrs of owning my Spark. It has less than 10,900 miles on it. This car has great maneuverability, gets great gas mileage, and I love the Hot Red body color. The only thing I've had to replace, in almost 6 yrs, is the battery. And that was just a few months ago during freezing weather. It gets regular oil changes and maintenance checks. The 2019 Chevy Spark is one great little car for the money.

They are pretty great, really. The car I went to look at didn't work out, but it was still a good experience. I kinda felt bad that I couldn't buy something from them. If you're looking for something, particularly on a budget, it's worth stopping in.

This is the best format for an electric car ever developed. No getting stuck somewhere without electricity. Chevrolet was totally crazy to stop making this car. Today they could sell millions.

It's a shame more people were not familiar with this car before Chevrolet stopped producing them. I drive on EV mode almost all the time, except when going on long trips. There is no range anxiety with the Volt. My car is averaging 181,000 MPG lifetime.

There is NOTHING I don't like about my Spark ... that's not to say that there couldn't be some improvements ... but it is EVERYTHING I want in a car in 2022. I bought mine back in 2018 ... love the roll up windows (power windows break over time and cost money), love the REAL ignition key, love the manual transmission (had to search high and low - but that's okay I found it), love the compact size, the Apple Car Play, the comfort - - - but MORE THAN ANYTHING, in this world of $5 gas ... I can't tell you how happy I am with the mileage. I AVERAGE over 38 mpg. That means for the price of gas, my expenditures are the same as a schmo with a car that gets 19 mpg back when gas was 2.50! I like it so much that I bought my son a brand new 2021 Spark outfitted the same way. I was devastated to hear that GM will no longer sell them after 2022.

We purchased our 2017 hatchback new in the summer of 2017. Our only expenses at 134,000 plus miles has been gas, regular oil and filter changes, tire pressure sensor and tires. A VERY reliable car with average mileage 34 mpg, max highway was 55 plus! And normal highway at 70 mpg of 43 mpg. No interior, exterior or mechanical issues or viewable wear. I wish Chevy still produced them for sale in U.S.A. as we would gladly buy another. No other new vehicle this size, mileage, amenities at this price.

It's unfortunate the previous owners of the recent reviews had terrible ownership experiences . I have used this car for nearly four years without a single problem. Fun to drive, very spirited, great gas mileage, and outstanding handling at highway speeds. At 95,000 miles, no squeaks, wind noise, or rattles. its still very solid. Would highly recommend if you find a well cared for one. My only complaint is you would be hard pressed to fit four ave. size people at one time. But on the plus side it can fit in small spaces.

Originally scheduled an appointment to see a Mazda Miata they had. Came across a Buick Cascada that they also had, and that seemed to be a better fit. Frank was very accommodating and helpful, willing to show me both vehicles. Great price on the Cascada, and he gave me an additional bit off, so I bought it. I bought a 2018 Premiere 7 months ago; I wanted an EV that had decent electric range and had an onboard range extender. It can go coast to coast on gas only getting over 40 MPG at highway speeds. It covers up to 50 miles on a single charge in the non-winter months and about 30 -35 miles in the winter. It charges to full in 4.5 hours using a 240 Volt charger. It has strong low speed acceleration, responsive handling and is fun to drive. It handled the worst S/E Michigan winter storm easily with just all season tires, and averages 121 MPGe. It is loaded with premium features like leather seats and steering wheel, heated front and rear seats and steering wheel, navigation, active cruise control, blind side warning, automatic low speed pedestrian braking, auto dimming headlights and a full page of standard equipment. The rare hatch area is small but very usable and can swallow bikes and lumber with the 2nd row seats folded.This car is upscale enough that it could have a Buick logo on it. I'm averaging 6 gallons of gas per month or about $20/month. My electricity costs me $0.03/kWh charging late at night (distribution costs more than doubles this cost; a full charge costs about $1.50 to go about 50 miles on the battery). It is a very comfortable highway cruiser; it is luxuriously quiet and the Bose 8 speaker system rivals the 14 speaker Bose system in our Yukon Denali. I have spent $0 for maintenance in 7 months. The brakes last many years because of the region feature (paddle and L drive modes engage region). At around $20K for a low mileage Gen 2 Volt, I can't think of a funner, higher tech car that is less expensive to operate at that price. A recent Car and Driver article recommended a 1980's Porsche as a fun, quick car to buy;. Surprisingly, the Gen 2 Volt's 0-60 time, 1/4 mile time/speed, 70-0 braking distance, and lateral g capability were the same or better than the respected German GT. It's easy to think of my Volt as a sports sedan, not as an economy car.

My 2012 Volt was purchased brand new on Groundhogs Day, 2012, and is now 14 years old! Knock on wood, I've not had any issues with it except a tire that doesn't hold air as well as the other 3 tires. And once all of the dashboard lights came on to “Check engine”. Turns out that the computer system in the car needed to be updated, and that was that. I mainly run it on electricity around town and to nearby areas, so the mileage is in the mid-50's. However, it has been driven numerous times from Ohio to Raleigh, NC, to the Outer Banks several times, to Maryland many times, and to the Adirondacks, and often to the Cleveland Airport. So it has been driven decent miles using gasoline as well. My mpg on gasoline is typically 42, but that can vary if driving over mountains vs flat land or city driving vs country roads. It has been a very comfortable car for me. The only downside has been that heated steering wheels were not offered back then. That is the only feature that I wish it had. I've put the backseats down and over the years have transported a kayak, a bicycle, and several other large items. So useful! Heated seats make me so warm that I rarely turn on the actual car heater, which of course, helps save the battery in winter. In the winter, my mileage has been 32 miles on complete battery. But this year, it's gone down to 29 as the battery is aging. However, in the Summer, I easily get 45-50 miles. Your mpg also depends on how you drive the car. I'm not heavy-footed and tend to coast toward a red light rather than gun it then slam on my brakes. What a waste of energy! The battery regenerates while coasting, so I often will coast down hills, too. The Volt has plenty of power if in a situation where you really need a quick blast to get out of a dangerous situation — especially if running on battery. It can be up to 60 in no time! BTW, the Volt's body has held up beautifully! It looks like a new car. It has never been garaged and has sat outside in the elements for the past 14 years. My plan is to run it for many more years until issues begin to arise. But at 55,000, she's still a young pup with lots more vim and vinegar. Fingers crossed! I only wish Chevy had not converted the Volt assembly line to trucks. I think they did the general public a disservice by discontinuing them. I would buy another one if they came back.

I owned a generation 2 Chevy Cruze hatchback for the past 8 years. Other than routine maintenance it never had a failure. Excellent fit and finish. Incredible gas mileage with a peppy turbo charged engine. The only negative is that GM no longer produces these highly reliable vehicles.

This is a fuel efficient and modest car. It achieves 98hp has a 9 gallon tank and an automatic transmission. The LS has crank windows and old fashioned key-lock doors. You can haul a reasonable load in the back seat and hatch or even three other people, though it might be somewhat cramped. It appears to be designed for urban commuters, but I've driven it some decent distances and in all seasons now and it seems to up the challenge of all weather and (paved) terrains. The onboard technology (radio, backup camera, and internet connectivity--with Apple Play and Android Auto) is surprisingly good. Its small size makes it fit easily into small spaces. It was discontinued in 2022, so there should be parts for awhile and prices are coming down. If you need a second car, give this one some consideration.

I have a 2021spark bought new n now have 75.000 miles on never had a problem getting around 38mpg run super unleaded only change oil every 7500miles all hyway miles n I'm 6ft5 n 280lbs I love it my car before this was a 2014 scion iq loved that car also
