2020 Mercedes-Benz E-Class review
I love this car! It looks great, handles wonderfully and the ride is exceptional. I went with the 2020 model because I don't care for the grill design implemented since 2021. I got the traditional grill with hood ornament which is what I preferred. The only disappointment for me was not having a touch screen. It's a bit cumbersome to manually navigate through all the screens using multiple inputs (especially while driving) but I'm getting accustomed to it. I would recommend this car to anyone!!

2015 Ford Mustang review
I have a premium Yellow 2015 GT convertible. Black interior (not charcoal gray) with a Black top. This car has the 6-speed automatic and therefore, it does not constantly shift up/down like the newer (lousy) 9-10 speeds. Mine includes the Ford Performance PowerPac 2 with RTR axle backs. With only 19,000 actual miles, this car looks, sounds and performs excellent. Would not sell it for any Corvette (have had 3 of them) nor any other Convertible with a 9-10 speed auto. 2008 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
This is my second Miata (first was a 1990), and I love it so much! Retractable hardtop roof is SO convenient!! Love the manual 6 speed for all the pep, and gas mileage is exceptional. I would consider a new one if the traditional, bright red paint and retractable hard top were both available. Since they're not, I'll stick with what I've got and enjoy it many more years!

2006 BMW M3 review
I bought this car a year ago because I drove one like it in the Black Forest ten years ago and it was a blast I never forgot. This convertible's inline naturally aspirated 6 is the best sounding and revving engine ever! It has a Dinan exhaust which completes the package. 2013 Volkswagen Beetle review
I was initially looking for a used Golf, but the more I looked at the Beetle the more I liked it. When I found the one I ended up buying, it was love at first drive. This little car packs a punch with the 2.0T, and will throw you back in your seat. It’s an absolute blast to drive. Handles well around town and on the interstate, where it could easily get one in trouble since it wants to GO. The same engine as is found in the GTI, so this should be unsurprising. Easily gets 30+mpg on the highway when cruising along, typically around 20-25 city. These cars handle city driving just fine, but they are meant for the freeway in my opinion. I find the interior to be quite luxurious. Heated leather seats (not available in the Golf) with plenty of storage compartments. Not many frills, just a sleek and mostly practical dash. The trunk is big enough for grocery runs, and the rear seats fold forward for larger loads. It’s not going to haul large appliances or furniture, although it could possibly carry some bigger stuff on a roof rack. The Fender audio system is impressive, wouldn’t change a thing about it except it could benefit from an updated head unit with CarPlay. This hasn’t been an issue for me. I think the car is a real looker, it turns heads and has drawn the occasional compliment. My used model had some imperfections, but it’s still a great looking car that I want to look after and keep for as long as I can. It feels well built, the doors close with the satisfying weighty thud of a premium vehicle. Overall, I am very happy with my 2013 beetle. It’s not only fun, but it seems to be reliable with a couple caveats that some owners might not be aware of. The 2.0T engine is designed for premium fuel, using regular will eventually damage it. The 2.5 can run regular, but I believe the 1.8T will also want premium. The reason for this is lower octane fuel will cause detonation in these high compression engines. If you don’t know what detonation is, just know it’s bad. The oil needs changed more regularly than the manufacturer recommended 10k miles. 5k to be safe, 7k at a stretch. This is especially true for higher mileage vehicles. Speaking of stretch, there is a known issue with some 2.0T engines where the timing chain stretches over time and many miles, so if buying used that’s something I’d have a mechanic check out. This is an expensive maintenance item, but IF it’s needed, getting it done along with the tensioner and a new water pump for good measure will ensure that the new to you Beetle is reliable for many years and miles to come. The other issue is carbon build up. Getting it cleaned out is not as spendy as the timing chain but it’s also not a cheap fix. I believe this can largely be avoided by using top tier fuel (it contains detergents that help with this) as well as regular oil changes and some regular spirited driving. Would not recommend this car to someone who mainly does town or city driving, the 2.5 engine might be better suited for that. According to my research, the 2.5 is quite bulletproof BUT it’s not good for any engine to be driven at low RPM all the time.

2008 BMW M3 review
I bought my M3 (e92) as a fun car for occasional use on track. It’s a project car really, and I’ll upgrade the car as I can afford to do so. So far I’ve had the car out on track twice, without any modifications apart from better pads and racing fluid for the brakes. The car handles extremely well, and performance in the high rev range is astonishingly good for a car that is so docile around town. The only areas requiring some attention are front brakes and exhaust. The front brakes are perfectly ok for normal driving, but for track use I’ll probably change the callipers and discs. The exhaust is ok, but a previous owner has done something with it to make it more noisy...sounds great but at 110db it fails most race circuit noise tests. There isn’t much about this car I don’t like. If I were to be picky maybe the interior is a bit bland, but it is a BMW, and after 78,000 miles there are no squeaks or rattles.

2011 Chevrolet Camaro review
I’ve always been a huge fan of Camaros. I had been in the market for a couple of years, lo and behold this Camaro became available. From the moment that I saw its sleek style to the first time I sat in the drivers seat that just seems to wrap around me up to when I fired it up and felt the horses run on this powerful V6 engine, I fell in love. This car fits me well. The throttle response is unbelievable. Steering is nothing short of effortless. The exhaust tone gives me a reason to turn off the stereo. As the the commercial from the 70’s says… Try it, you’ll like it!

2003 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class review
I bought my 2003 mb SL500 in 2023 with 30,000 original miles. It runs excellent has a bullet proof engine and design will always be IN vogue cuz of its sleek design. I got all the previous repair receipts from original owner which is great to know the history. As with any 21 yr old car there may be repairs. I have a great MB independent repair shop called Star Motors in Gainesville Fl who really knows these cars and they fix them right and for less than a dealer. Sure thing’s can go wrong and I have found repairs about 25% more than Honda or Toyota. One has to factor in repairs no matter what. I like the 5.0 engine and one thing is they last! They ride so smooth on the wide tires on the highways and there tight steering. Bose sound system still working great afte all these years. Buy one have it inspected if your worried. There in my view great cars. Depreciated a lot since new at $100,000 out the door. So paying 15k to 20k is a bargain. You’ll love it!

2002 Ford Thunderbird review
In 2002 they sold over MSRP adjusted for inflation @$54K in todays money- pricier than the 2002 Corvette and sold like 30,000 that year. I think that new car buyer had to probably be searching for the 1955 Thunderbird experience to shell out that kind of cash, and most people born on the 60’s and 70’s just didn’t understand that appeal. Oddly, the demographic that did BABIED their cars, kept up maintenance, have all the original tools and covers (just try and find that T-handle wrench for the hard top for example) when you get lucky enough to get a shot at buying one of these babies cars you’ll find they’re sharp and quick, amazingly so despite what people someone lent one to to write about said 20 years ago. Shod with 17inch tires 🛞 and solid suspension, people can complain about the horsepower being light, but stomp it and it will jump, zoom and weave solidly with the best of them. My drive home from buying this car was a blast. Will other sports models eke out slightly better speed, power and performance over these 20 year old T-birds? Sure, why not. Does it matter if you’re not at Road Atlanta? No. For me, this a sleeper sports car that’s about to bust onto the scene and see its reputation finally living up to the 2002 Car of the Year Award Motor Trend gave it. I think you need to find one of these babied sweethearts like I did. It’s a blast to find a good one and discover what an under rated blast it is to drive. Can’t really call it super nimble, but I respect mines solid ride and reasonably quick response & rocket like performance. The incredibly clean lines scream style visually and I suggest that a 2 tone leather optional interior is worth an extra $1K (over the basic. $11-12 K value) a hard top/rack/tonneau cover intact is worth another grand. ($13-14K total seems fair generally for a babied one). Check the rubber suspension parts underneath (inside the front wheel well behind the tire) is the easiest one to check quickly for rot w/o getting under the rear).

2003 Ford Thunderbird review
I absolutely love this car. My only wish is that I can find a Hard Top to put on it at a reasonable price. But I still love this car. I am sorry but I do. It puts a smile on my face. And I didn't have to pay a fortune for it either. It still looks like new, and it drives great, and it handles excellent. It is the Torch Red w/Black Ink Interior. And this is to the guy that says the 3.9 engine is underpowered, you are nuts, this thing screams down the highway, not that I am a speed demon, but it does. I don't know what else to say about this Thunderbird, but I wish I had bought one many years ago. Nuff said.

2003 BMW Z4 review
I've owned my 2003 3.0i 6sp E85 for almost 9 years. Equipped w/ M Sport option, 18" staggered alloys and painted in a beautiful Toledo Blue. Yes the car has need some maintenance, some worn parts replaced, but nothing too surprising or extraordinary expensive aside from tires. I'm in my 60's and still do most of my own work. Love the ride, the style, 6sp manual transmission, the power, the smoothness of the car in general. Would I recommend this car? Only to those that love a car that YOU want to drive. NO AI frills to distract one. Just a pure driving experience.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray review
On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. Kirk is truly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to. After being at the dealership for a bit, I bumped into Kevin Bearce, another sales consultant and person we knew. He is another unbelievable friendly professional and a true joy to talk to. With sales folks like Kirk and Kevin, I would recommend Country Chevrolet to any and everyone, as they clearly only hire the best of the best. Kirk had three surprise visits by existing customers during our time shopping, and Kevin jumped in without skipping a beat, to assist in what turned out to be our purchase of the corvette. The finance consultant, J. C. Welch, quickly assisted in finalizing the sale at a price I considered fair. He too was friendly and professional in all. My whole experience at Country Chevrolet was completely different than my previous experiences buying cars. The atmosphere and attitude of the people was friendly, upbeat and caring. This tells me that the management and ownership of this dealership sets high standards for their people, and the result is great buying experience for a customer like me. Spoke with Aaron Vanshanker on the phone to verify a mini advertised online. It was verified and I set up an appointment for the next day. Aaron was knowledgeable and showed us several of their cars. He did not pressure us but let us know he was available if we had any questions. We bought our car 2 days later. So we first went in on Saturday to look around and drove home our mini home the following Tuesday. They put a bow on our car and parked it in the showroom with our name on it. It was shiny and fantastic. They shared in my excitement and made me feel so happy. The car is awesome and I feel it was a good deal. It is early days but I am very satisfied so far - Aaron was professional and easy to deal with.

2001 Chevrolet Camaro review
Just bought the car. 2001 Camaro SS in dark metallic navy blue. Honestly the nicest color combo I have ever seen on this car. Stunning to say the least. Tan leather interior. Just turned 50k miles and mint isn't even good enough. Literally showroom quality in and out. Hands down the nicest one I've had and this will be about my tenth F body from 89 to 01 all nice cars. My last one was a 98 Z28 mostly original except the exhaust and a few bells and whistles but nothing over the top. Just had the rear carrier and axle bearings and seals done. 182k and ran like the day it had 60k on it. If you don't beat it and keep up with the oil and other very important and often overlooked maintainance they will go until you crash and total it. That LS1 will just not die unless you kill it will neglegence or stupidity. Best platform GM ever built in my opinion. Could not be happier. Umi 1.5 drop springs with koni shocks and a tik performance m/c for the clutch. C5 ZO6 rims and tires just turned 500 miles. Perfect stance just perfect. 18's in the rear and 17's up front with toyo 888"s. That's about it for mods. Got a few more things I'd like to do come the spring time. There you have it. The nicest Camaro SS out there. I'm sure there are some beauty's out there but better I can't imagine its possible

I just completed a purchase from Net Motorcars. I am in Michigan and they are in Illinois. I was very nervous buying without seeing the car in person. My son talked to Michael. My son was impressed. Since the car was for me I took over talking to Michael. I also was impressed, and completed the deal. I did have an inspection company give me a report. The process was very easy. The car was delivered in an enclosed carrier. This 2002 Cadillac Eldorado convertible is in excellent condition. Everything Michael told me about the car was true. Very rare, a dealer you can trust. I would buy from him again.
