1997 Pontiac Firebird review
I had a 97 formula T-Top with the LT1, the stock mufflerwasn't all that but the Flowmaster was a compliment to the 5.7L 350 cubic inch V8.it road comfortably from the driver seat but the back seats you either had your knees up in your face or the front passenger seat all in your grill. You are driving one of the elite machines setting in the Pontiac cockpit. I enjoyed just starting that car the rumble and the roar when it fired and the humble rumble while crusin along and 70mph was it's sweet spot their wasn't a curve it couldn't handle at 70 just let off the gas and it would glide steady and that my friend is a different perspective of comfortable. I got several careless but doing 105 in a 50 got me a wreckless driving. But it's been nearly 30yrs and I still dream about that car I hope to get another one someday

2004 Acura RSX review
I have owned 4 acura Rsx-S from 2001 to 2004 they are all rock solid cards, mechanically unstoppable , only down side is rust. But if you can find a clean one it'll run until the end of time with proper maintenance even if heavily abused.

Khalid is good, but Tyson Mercedes is greedy. Khalid wore a sharp tailored suit which is unheard of in the dealerships where I am from. He was very professional, pointing out flaws in the paint he offered to fix before I could point out the ones I saw. He respected my time which was less than ideal for making a purchase today. We made a handshake on a good deal, but it's been over 6 hours and I still haven't seen my "deal" in writing with an out the door quote. As far as Tyson Mercedes, the vehicle which was just "front end aligned" last week had one tire about 5-6 pounds low, and this was not noticed with the yellow light on the dash when it was pulled around for me earlier in the day. The test drive was not safe to conduct other than around the corner and back at slow speed, so I have no idea how it really handles. The biggest issue I have is the dealership assessing a "non-negotiable" sky-high processing fee which is nearly $1000, probably among the highest in Virginia. It doesn't cost $1000 for the 15 minutes of work it takes to process the sale and send the documents to DMV, etc. If they want this kind of fee, they should be selling vehicles $1000 below market value, and not even bothering marking them up $3000 over market value! Be prepared to negotiate $3000-4000 down just to get to the market price on a used vehicle! After you get to market price, make them take off some of the $1000 processing fee from the sale price or walk off the lot and go buy the same thing from another dealer who only charges $500 or less in processing fees. If it's taxable, it's negotiable! Do your research and use online tools to know the market value before you visit any dealership!

2017 Jaguar F-TYPE review
The SVR F Type is one of the best all-around sports cars I've ever owned, and I have owned quite a few very nice sports cars. This car can do everything, drag race, track days, pleasure cruises, haul $400 worth of groceries with ease, and function as an extremely fun daily-driver with ease. It can even handle light snow and ice on the road with ease given it's British weather heritage and the exceptional AWD system it has. The only thing it cant do is haul more than two people. It is VERY fast from a dig with an excellent all-wheel drive system that squats and goes like a scalded cat. My car has been modified with some performance parts including custom-built 200-cell sport cats on resonated stainless steel downpipes, a smaller crank pulley to increase boost, and an ECU and TCU tune to take advantage of that additional power. It sits now with just under 600 wheel horsepower at the tires and is nearly unbeatable in a stoplight to stoplight race against 95% of the cars you will see on the road normally, including the all-electric Tesla models below the Plaid which is very impressive. Even before it was modified it was truly a fast car straight from the factory and stock. Power delivery is excellent but particularly once in the 3200 RPM range, where it feels like you have a pair of rocket boosters kicking in and it plants your butt in the seat hard. Fit with a set of B-Forged 3-piece wheels (21x11 rears and 21x9 fronts)and larger than stock Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (285/35ZR21 in the front and 325/25ZR21 in the rear) the handling is superb in this car. The 20" factory tires and wheels are great as well. It corners extremely well, rotating and accelerating out of corners like it is on rails. The electronic stability and traction control are NOT too invasive, and in Dynamic mode it will let you have all the fun you could want. The 575 crank horsepower rating on this car is definitely understated, as a factory car will dyno 500 to 520 HP AT THE TIRES despite an AWD system that takes about 18% percent of the engine's output to power. The standard larger brakes that come part of the SVR package are excellent and have all the stopping power you could want. The factory titanium exhaust is so much fun on this car and makes lots of ear-pleasing noise if you are a fan of exhaust notes, pops, and bangs. They can be swapped to a quite mode if you prefer or turned on to the louder mode whenever you choose. Swapping out the factory catalytics for the 200-cell sport cats with resonators made the exhaust note sheer perfection. As far the exterior goes, this is one of the most graceful and beautiful designs of all time IMO, as well as many others. It follows the classic proportions with a low sweeping hood and nose and powerful wide and compact rear with at four wheels located as close to the corners as possible. The interior is also beautiful, and despite not having a huge infotainment system, what it does have works well, looks good, and fits with the rest of the interior. The seats are comfortable but very supportive, and even at 6 foot 4 inches tall I fit in the car very comfortably. The top option stereo is a must and sounds great with the factory subwoofers and speakers. Reliability has been superb so far. A 2017 model that just turned 20k miles, the only repairs thus far have been a broken hood latch (which was mostly my fault) and a driver's rear shock which started leaking. Both of these repaired under warranty. All in all, this is a fantastic car and everyone that has ridden or driven mine has fallen in love with it. With only 1,871 SVR's built between 2017 and 2020 in the entire world, I have no doubt that resale value will hold steady and possibly appreciate in the near future as they get more and more exposure from enthusiasts. WARNING: Do not buy one if you do not like attention. I cant remember the last time I drove mine without at least one person asking about it.

2025 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 63 review
2025 AMG GT63, just over 500 miles so far and really love the beast. to put in perspective: purchased three e63s in the past and this is my fourth AMG. Switched over from M3s and M5s… drove 55 before deciding on 63. 55 lacks that mighty M177 pull in my opinion… so far, happy with my decision, GT63 is outstanding from every point of view. not a daily driver, likely the “garage queen ”, however finding every excuse to get behind the wheel!

2014 Nissan 370Z review
I've been owning 370Z for 8 years. My Z is a Base version with MT. When I bought it, I was choosing between 370Z, BMW Z4, Chevrolet Corvette and Ford Mustang. I wanted some cheap, simple and reliable "old school" sports car with manual gearbox. I finally chose Z, and I've never had a single regret. Of course, it's not the fastest car, not the most comfortable one, and it's not luxurious at all, but it's unbeatable by the quality/performance/reliability/price ratio. The VQ37 is a bullet-proof engine with endless lifespan. My Z has never been in service for all 8 years and 40k miles (I do all periodic maintenance myself in my garage). I bought it brand new for $28k, and I don't know any other sports car with the same level of power and handling for this money. What else... Cheap parts (as for any other Nissan), HUGE amount of affordable after-market performance upgrades, simple design and great reliability. The only complain I have about 370Z is that the base version seats are not very comfortable, and after 2-3 hours of driving your back may start asking for stopping and taking some rest.

My car has been modified with some performance parts including custom-built 200-cell sport cats on resonated stainless steel downpipes, a smaller crank pulley to increase boost, and an ECU and TCU tune to take advantage of that additional power. It sits now with just under 600 wheel horsepower at the tires and is nearly unbeatable in a stoplight to stoplight race against 95% of the cars you will see on the road normally, including the all-electric Tesla models below the Plaid which is very impressive. Even before it was modified it was truly a fast car straight from the factory and stock. Power delivery is excellent but particularly once in the 3200 RPM range, where it feels like you have a pair of rocket boosters kicking in and it plants your butt in the seat hard. Fit with a set of B-Forged 3-piece wheels (21x11 rears and 21x9 fronts)and larger than stock Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (285/35ZR21 in the front and 325/25ZR21 in the rear) the handling is superb in this car. The 20" factory tires and wheels are great as well. It corners extremely well, rotating and accelerating out of corners like it is on rails. The electronic stability and traction control are NOT too invasive, and in Dynamic mode it will let you have all the fun you could want. The 575 crank horsepower rating on this car is definitely understated, as a factory car will dyno 500 to 520 HP AT THE TIRES despite an AWD system that takes about 18% percent of the engine's output to power. The standard larger brakes that come part of the SVR package are excellent and have all the stopping power you could want. The factory titanium exhaust is so much fun on this car and makes lots of ear-pleasing noise if you are a fan of exhaust notes, pops, and bangs. They can be swapped to a quite mode if you prefer or turned on to the louder mode whenever you choose. Swapping out the factory catalytics for the 200-cell sport cats with resonators made the exhaust note sheer perfection. As far the exterior goes, this is one of the most graceful and beautiful designs of all time IMO, as well as many others. It follows the classic proportions with a low sweeping hood and nose and powerful wide and compact rear with at four wheels located as close to the corners as possible. The interior is also beautiful, and despite not having a huge infotainment system, what it does have works well, looks good, and fits with the rest of the interior. The seats are comfortable but very supportive, and even at 6 foot 4 inches tall I fit in the car very comfortably. The top option stereo is a must and sounds great with the factory subwoofers and speakers. Reliability has been superb so far. A 2017 model that just turned 20k miles, the only repairs thus far have been a broken hood latch (which was mostly my fault) and a driver's rear shock which started leaking. Both of these repaired under warranty. All in all, this is a fantastic car and everyone that has ridden or driven mine has fallen in love with it. With only 1,871 SVR's built between 2017 and 2020 in the entire world, I have no doubt that resale value will hold steady and possibly appreciate in the near future as they get more and more exposure from enthusiasts. WARNING: Do not buy one if you do not like attention. I cant remember the last time I drove mine without at least one person asking about it.

I purchased my coupe in early 2009 and still have it. I just turned 147000 miles and the car is amazing. The vehicle is fast, smooth, comfortable for a sports car and sounds great. My only complaint is the dash board cracks over time and at this point hard to get a replacement.

2022 Porsche 718 Cayman review
I bought my 2021 GT4 in January of 2021 and have put 14,500 miles on it since them. I have tracked it at Mid-Ohio, Pitt Race and Nelson Ledges. We have driven to California and Florida from NE Ohio. I am 69 years old and find the car to be quite comfortable for long distance trips. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? YES!

2015 Scion tC review
This is the 2 nd TC I have owned, I had a great experience with my 2006 it has over 240k miles on it and I just replaced the clutch on it I've had NO other problems . So I bought a newer one. It's a 2015, Ipaid top dollar for it from a used car lot they bought it at an auction. The day after I bought it it started making loud noises and it has been diagnosed with a bad throw out bearing..I bought the car as is and nobody is going to take the responsibility financially or otherwise so I'm really not happy with the situation . However the car has only 60000 miles and I hope it will be the one and only problem that needs fixed. Because of the reliability of my first one I'm counting on it. The car is fun to drive handles excellent, has the cool look of a sports car and gets 25+ miles to the gallon. It has spacious comfort in the cab too , front and back . I will say it's a fun car to drive but only if you have the manual transmission.

2024 BMW M240 review
I did careful reviews of this model as well as the 4 Series. I was really looking at the 2023 4 Series 2Dr Coupe. I decided to go with the 2024 M240I because ... 1. it's a two door. I liked what I was seeing with the professional/owner reviews for the 2023 model year. And 2. I bought this as the last new car I will buy and as a reward to myself for a life well lived and jobs well done. I got the Portimao Blue Metallic Cognac Interior. I didn't pay for the add-on's that dealers like to charge. I only paid for what I had too. Do your homework on this. Will save thousand if you do. Some emails, couple of phone calls and the deal was done. Now, down to my opinions of this car.... I didn't really think I would like the run flats ... but, not bad at all. Like any tire, depending on the road surface, they can either be loud or quite. For the most part, quite. Add to that the build quality of BMW and I have a quite riding car. When the door closes, it does it with a solid "this door is closed" sound. Only other thing I will add about the tires ... I will get a donut spare. Don't like not being without it, run flats not withstanding. The interior is very well done I think. Everything is right there for you to get to without having to stretch for it. The IDrive 8 is very easy to work once you get it sorted the way you want it. Seats are very comfortable. Heated seats warm up nicely in cold weather ... so does the steering wheel. Sound system is great. I really like the fact that BMW kept the control wheel for the IDrive 8 system and didn't go full on touch screen. Same with buttons on the steering wheel. Real buttons. Another thing that I thought I wouldn't like was the toggle for the gear selector. Not a issue at all. Given the small interior for the 2Dr Coupe, the toggle works out well. A stalk selector would have been like a black eye. Engine response when you put your foot on it is right there. I've not noticed any turbo lag at all. Maybe due to the M240I being a 6 and not a 4. Power is there when you need it. My MPG so far has been about 26.5 in town. Was over 30 mpg on the highway/interstate. Having to use premium is not a factor for me. Knew that going in before I bought the car. For the cost of this car, spend the money and use the premium grade. Visibility hasn't been an issue at all. The tech is great. Works very well and is easy to set up the way you want it. The back up sensors were at first a bit annoying, but I got used to them fairly quickly. Loving the heads up display. So far, I've got no complaints.

2022 Porsche 718 Cayman review
I researched 911 vs 718 for almost two years. I drove a Carrera 4S at PECATL and loved it, but I wanted to keep my budget lower. A base 911, while a great car, just did not live up to the 718's nimbleness with its mid-mounted engine. I was lucky with my find - a GTS 4.0 It drives perfectly. The storage is ample enough for a large check-in suitcase up front. You also have the rear trunk. This can be a great daily driver with next-to-nothing for maintenance aside from regular oil changes and routine maintenance check-ups. I've put close to 4k miles and it is a special occasion each time I get in.
