I drove 2 hours to go take a look at what I felt like was my dream mommy mobile. Turns out, in fact the vehicle I looked at was. Shelby Sides was my sales representative and she was amazing to work with. She impressed me right from the start by having the vehicle parked under the shelter waiting for me to arrive because it was forecasted to rain most of the day. That was a personable touch I felt really hit the mark in terms of customer service. She was knowledgeable about the vehicle; if I asked a question she didn’t know the answer to with confidence, she went and got the answer for me. She gave my mom and I free reign over test driving and looking the car over without any pressure, and the few minor things we did find she put her nose to the grindstone and addressed all of our concerns. Every single person we interacted with from Shelby on the sales floor to Nathan the sales manager, and yes even to Ashley the finance manager were all top notch, professional, and friendly. They all really made my mom and I feel like we were part of their family. They gave us a very good price on the new vehicle and made sure we were well taken care of, they even included a full tank of gas for my ride home, which is something most dealers just don’t do anymore. I felt respected the entire time I was there and walked away as a very satisfied customer. I would 100% recommend them to anybody who is in the market for a new or new-to-them car. They were the only dealer in NC who had the exact make, model, trim level, color scheme, and satisfactory mileage I was looking for. It ended up being a truly perfect buying experience! 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV review
My first EV and so far so good. There is a common issue with the manual charger release that is under warranty but should probably be a recall of it’s a known issue as GM has said. Other than that the vehicle has been great and the range is really good.

2023 Toyota bZ4X review
What I do not like Remote start: There is no option just to start the HVAC, you have to start the car. The car needs to be locked. Why not combine 2 functions - lock first, then start HVAC. After getting into the car and starting, a number of features do not work and need manual intervention: Auto setting for heated seats and steering wheel Phone no longer connects. Manual intervention needed to connect CarPlay (several taps) I have not been able to get scheduled HVAC going from the app. Multi-Information display is almost obstructed by steering wheel. And I am 6’2”. Steering-wheel buttons are crowded. Setting, canceling, resuming buttons are close together and I need to look at the wheel to find the right button. Audio volume is much easier with a knob… I had to restrict the upper range of the lift gate opening so it would not hit the garage door. Now I hit my head on the lift gate edge if I am not careful. My car came with only 1 key fob. Several months later still no 2nd fob. Heat takes a long time to come on. Lack of recording cameras, like Tesla. Knob to put in Drive or Reverse. Easy to select the wrong direction. Pushbuttons are easier. Only randomly is CarPlay activated when starting car. I only want Carplay. What I like Auto parking brake. Seats are comfortable. Easy to drive the car smoothly. Comfortable. Auto heated seats and steering wheel. Qi wireless charger Wireless CarPlay (will not buy a car without it) Rubber car mats. Overall comments: I like the car, but the interfaces in the Hyundai Kona Electric I had previously were better.

From start to finish, Victor was incredibly thorough with his communication and always followed through on everything he said he would do. What really stood out, though, was his approach—he was never pushy. Instead of trying to steer me toward things I didn’t want (which I experienced at several other dealerships during my search), he actually listened to what I was looking for and worked to find solutions which fit my needs. After my initial visit, he even sent a follow-up walk-through video of the vehicle so I could share it with my wife and family. That level of respect and attentiveness made all the difference. For the sake of transparency and authenticity, I’ll add that the experience wasn’t absolutely perfect—about a week or two after the purchase, I realized the cabin air filter was missing. I reached out to Victor and the team at Modern Hyundai, and they got it corrected with minimal to no inconvenience to me. No one is perfect, but how people respond is what truly matters in my book, and they handled it the right way. I would strongly recommend anyone considering buying a car from Modern Hyundai of Concord to do so—and definitely ask for Victor. I’d even suggest reaching out to him ahead of time about what you’re looking for, even if it’s not currently in their inventory. He genuinely tries to help you find the right fit. 2026 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
I’ve only had the car a month. It’s very comfortable and responsive, looks nice, and has lots of great safety and convenience technology. It’s somewhat complex to set up, with multiple menus and some programmable buttons, and the heads-up display doesn’t show up with polarized sunglasses. Otherwise, I’m completely satisfied with the car.

2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV review
This is my first EV but I've owned three PHEV's before this vehicle. This is the most comfortable and best riding vehicle I've ever owned and that includes a Mercedes. I looked briefly at a Tesla before this and can't understand why anyone would want to buy a car that has a dash that looks like someone glued an ipad in the middle and called it good. The Equinox has a wrap around touch screen dash and all of the functions are easy to navigate to and self explanatory. It also has separate push button HVAC controls, which makes it nice for winter driving with gloves on.

2026 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
Our 2026 Ioniq 5 SEL is absolutely awesome! It has all the electronic accessories I wanted, including long range, lane assist, IPedal, and the ability to charge anywhere. 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV review
I have had a very positive experience so far. I had some small issues but nothing major. They were fixed fairly quickly by the dealer. The mileage does drop drastically in the winter, but I knew that before purchasing it. It is roomy inside, and drives great.

2026 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
Don't understand the earlier review - liked the car but only gave it a 1 rating overall??? I LOVE this car, 5 rating overall. Just purchased a month ago, so cannot rate reliability yet. However, comfort and performance are stellar. With a 300+ mile full range, you cannot be too concerned about finding a charging station. Just do a little planning. Everything well designed. You do need to figure out all the bells and whistles though. Manual was written by someone whose first language is not English.

2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E review
This is our second Mach-E purchase. Our first was a 2021. We chose to sell it and get a 2025 Mach-E Premium. The 2025 gets revised suspension that is so much better than the previous years, which was bouncy. You can also now get the premium without the glass roof. I do not like the glass roof, so getting the premium features without it is great! Excellent power, comfort and features at a pretty good price. Love the style, too!
