2015 Ford Escape review
The 2015 Ford Escape is good overall performance wise, but I noticed the transmission started slipping after 150,000 miles, also had to replace all motor mounts (3) they got loose. Once replaced the stability of the drive train helped the ailing transmission, and you still could use and drive the car safely. Buying or saving for a "new" transmission was planned due to the reliability of the car. And, "new" was the choice over a used, or rebuilt one, because I intended to keep the car.

I got this car when I got my license, when I was little me and my grandpa went to San Augustine Ford to get a car to surprise my grandma with after her Lincoln's engine blew up, she drove it very little, my mom drove it a lot it has neatly 60,000 miles on it, we got it used when it had like 4,000 miles on it, we got it in 2016 so we had the car for about 10 years now, I love it

2015 Ford Escape review
Car was purchased new in 2015. Overall I rate the car as 4 out of 5. Rear brakes need improvement such as chrome slider rails which would reduce sticking. Forward weight transfer on hard braking could be controlled better. There is one expressway exit where the upper weight transfer is a problem ( as it is with most SUV''s). The steering is precise, with no real surprises ( other than at that one poorly designed xway exit).

This was my first experience with carmax, and it was amazing. First off, let me say that if you go to carmax at centennial, Las Vegas, ask for Muhammad. This man goes beyond and above for his customers to ensure they get the perfect car for them. He has the patience of a saint. Carmax should definitely look into promoting this guy. The company would really benefit from having someone like him in management. Secondly, the selection of vehicles rivaled other competitors, and their reserve system was a stress relief for us as we felt like we were scrambling to find a car before someone else purchased it. You will have peace of mind knowing that the car you want to see will be there waiting for you, no matter what your work schedule is like. They stay open late which is very helpful. They have a TV set up for kids and a nice woman came and handed us coloring packets and foam car toys for the kids. I just bought a Ford Escape from here, I had a tatty old Hyundai Tucson, which definitely had seen better days. Martino,the general manager, was extremely easy to deal with, I told him my budget, he informed me of three cars to look at. I was immediately drawn to the Ford Escape having driven one recently. Martino then informed me of the options for finance, down payments, trade ins, and took me through the complete process. When the deal was done and I took ownership of the vehicle, I took it on its first proper outing, just to listen and feel the vehicle. Happy to report all felt fine. Then the OBD came out, what was I going to find? Nothing, everything was green with the vehicle. Can you imagine how happy I was, and still am today. For a nice car at a fair price, I'm very happy. If you're in the market for a vehicle, you should pop in and have a look, you'll never know what you might find. I did!!!
